Installed new inlet lines, drains and ventilation lines for new washer and dryer unit in the basement. This was a very complicated job (house built in '70s with multiple renovations since) but Smith Plumbing was extremely knowledgeable. The owner (Winkie) had excellent, specific recommendations for how the lines should function, and made recommendations regarding rerouting a portion of the sewer line that would help us during power outages. Much appreciated! It was necessary to drill through the foundation in order to vent the dryer, and the team handled the task easily. Extremely impressed with the professionalism, hard work, and attention to detail of the team, and the overall knowledge and experience of the owner. The owner also checked in personally on the progress of the work over two days, and met with me after the completion of the job and reviewed the work to make sure everything was perfect.

Scheduled an appointment for an estimate. No one ever came. Heard from the receptionist the following Monday that she had been hospitalized, and the work orders were not relayed to the plumber. The Angie's List reports on this company had sounded good. Oh, well, maybe we just had bad timing.

Our project exceeded our expectations! The team did a great job with construction. They cleaned up everyday and all the workers were courteous, pleasant and easy to work with. Winky never had a problem in making changes 'on the fly' and always conveyed a customer first attitude. Winky is creative and innovative and offered suggestions along the way to improve the look of the project. We couldn't be more pleased.

Winky is wonderfull He fully explained every detail of the proceedure and made me feel very comfortable with the work he was going to do. He was very responsive and very very helpful. He is the best plumber that I have encountered . I would highly recommend him!

They were prompt, neat, and reliable. They kept everything as clean as possible. They also found a gas leak right away and fixed that immediately. I was very pleased with how friendly and honest they were. They didn't try to push me to do more than I wanted done.

Overall this was a great experience. Winky gave us an hour window for his arrival and showed up shortly after the start of that window (7:30am). He and his assistant were courteous and polite and quick to get to work. He explained to me what he was doing and kept me engaged in the process. He then explained to me how the drain works in the tub and what products can damage the pipes. After they unclogged the pipes, they put the toilet back and put it on even better than it had been. It had always been a bit unstable and he showed me how the toilet hadn't been aligned to the floor correctly. He fixed that and re-caulked it for me. I was very pleased with his work and his willingness to show me what he was doing and explain to me what I can do in the future to avoid a clogged drain. I would definitely recommend Mr. Smith and will keep his number on file to use in the future.

Mr. Smith was quite professional and did not charge us as he had "done work". We certainly profited from his knowledge and years of experience.

They were fantastic. The job done was excellent. They went above and beyond to get the job done. He followed up by coming once or twice to make sure that I was happy. They were focused on the quality of the work. He would be my plumber. I would use them in the future.

William Denvor Smith is the owner. His charge on thanksgiving was so reasonable and cam within the hour. He did not overcharge me, but he almost undercharged me. He was efficient and so polite and he came immediately. He was on a commercial job and he said that he realized that I needed some help and he came over to help me out. I have never used him before, but I would use him in the future because he never took advantage of the situation. I think I paid about $100 on that service. He made calls back to me and told me his exact location and he said that he was working in a restraint and that he had a break and could come here and fix my problem. When he arrived here her was clean and did the work very quickly and efficiently. He tried to tell us what he thought the problem was to avoid it in the future. His charge for a day like that could have been anything, but he did not take advantage. He also gave me the approximate charge before hand and when he arrived here he kept his word. He stands out to me as a man of his word and a man of quality service.

He has been very thorough. They stayed very late the night before it snowed getting my sewer hooked up so I didn't have to stay in a hotel. They knew the snow was coming and that they had to get it done. They are very professional. I like the fact that he just didn't take care of his little part. He even had a cleaning lady come in this morning. I don't think they are charging anymore than anybody else would have charged.

Kitchen sink drain was running very, very, slow. I did the home handyman "snake through the drain" which did not fix the problem. We needed professional help. I contacted Mr. Smith and he came out the same day. He was good with arriving when he said he would. He also came in with the same size "handyman shake" I had used earlier to fix the problem. I told him my "fix" did not work so....he brought in a "bigger, badder" snake. That did the trick. He went through the drain pipe approx. 25' and cleaned out the years of grease that had built up in the line. He and his helper did a good clean up and he was very professional. Will call again if I need a good plumber to fix a problem.

I bought a short sale that was basically a slum and was floundering for help to make the house livable. Fixing leaking toilets in all four bathrooms was a priority and my Mom recommended her plumber. Enter a giant of a man with the nickname of "Winky" who showed up right away and took care of the plumbing at a good price. What I found out in short order is that Winky employs a band of licensed, highly-skilled workers who can do tiling, painting, carpentry - and what his workers cannot do, Winky seems to know the best local people who can, and for a good price. I still got estimates from other contractors for the extensive work I needed, but, in the end I used Winky as my 'general contractor' and am very pleased with the results. The men arrived when they said they would, were respectful, cleaned up after a project was finished, and had lots of money-saving ideas. The best thing about Winky is his "get the job done" attitude. The second-best thing is his loud, good-natured laugh, which you can immediately spot if he is in Home Depot at the same time you are !

From initial contact with William Smith, "Winky", the owner, to final installation of a new faucet, the work went smoothly. Winky himself and his assistant, Ishmael, who has worked with him for ten years, did all the work. Winky is licensed as a Master Plumber and Master Gas Fitter, and in Backflow Prevention (inground sprinker systems). We could not have been happier with our experience with this knowledgeable, honest professional.

My experience with them has been very satisfactory. The price was fine; there was no problem. Their price, quality of work, responsiveness and punctuality were outstanding. Their professionalism was very good. I will use them in the future.

Smith Plumbing is great and I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. Not only where the workers punctual, friendly, considerate, they knew what they were doing and they did not stand around wasting time. I was so concerned about the amount of water I was loosing and the sleet storm that was scheduled to hit the next day. But Smith Plumbing had the job complete in one day. I don't call “Smith Plumbing” by their company name; I call them by the owner's name – “Winky”. I’ve made a friend and have an awesome plumber that I trust to call if I need one. Thanks Winky. I was so distraught, after receiving a $800.00 water bill in the mail; only to find out right before the holidays that we had a major water leak. This nightmare was unraveling right before my eyes little did I know this was only the beginning of very large but expensive repair. I didn’t know a plumbing company could be so professional, until I called Smith Plumbing, LLC. Everything from my initial call to the office; an immediate response to my message; to the friendly gentlemen that showed up at my door was very reassuring. I had a leak somewhere between my house and the street, so they had to dig up my yard and run a new waterline. I’ve had friends and seen neighbors houses after a job like this was complete and the companies virtually left a nightmare of clean-up and shrub destruction. They were very careful not to mess up anything, they placed plastic on my grass, hand dug my yard and placed all the dirt on plastic so they would not tear up my grass. After completing the repair, they cleaned up and what an exceptional job they did, they shoved all of the dirt back in place and left me with only a small mount of dirt, placing my old grass back on top, explaining to me that it would take sometime but the dirt would settle. As far as I’m concerned they went above and beyond the call of duty. Since then I have used Smith Plumbing LLC., to do a water heater repair, some leaky faucets and toilets. The cost of my job was somewhere in the middle of my 4 estimates, I felt very comfortable with my decision and I am extremely happy that I went with “Winky” at Smith Plumbing LLC.
