Our remodel turned out great! We could not have asked for a better team. They were very professional, engaging and knowledgeable. Our tile looks great because the workers were super thoughtful when installing. We recommend using Mike and his team for any remodel and/or tile work!

I could not be happier with my experience with Custom Design Tile. Brian and Mike were incredibly thorough and professional. They paid attention to detail and were enthusiastic about the project. Their crew was incredibly polite and professional. Also, I was incredibly grateful to find a contractor that was both on time and on budget. All in all, they made a major renovation as easy as possible. Beautiful work. I would choose them again in a heartbeat.

Brian, Mike and the rest of their team are fantastic. We have used their services twice now. For our biggest job, we had a full bathroom remodel done and are very happy with the results. Brian and his team are master craftsmen and pay attention to every detail. You can tell that they really care about doing the job right. It is also great that Brian takes you shopping to pick out all of your materials and gives great recommendations on styles, paint colors, etc. Having help deciding on all of the design aspects of the job is crucial! On the days the work is being done, Mike checks in frequently and makes sure everything is being done to your specifications. Everything was smooth sailing from start to finish. I would highly recommend Custom Design Tile.

Custom Design Tile was pleasure to work with from start to finish! The owner Brian Brennan and his son Mike did an outstanding job for us. After accepting the quote for the job, Brian guided us through the design process with relative ease. He accompanied us when visiting all the companies to help us pick out the tile, vanity and fixtures for the new bathroom. He gave us great advice on how to proceed. The team did that performed the work was superb. Jose and Orlando arrived on time every day, did their work per the schedule and cleaned up after themselves every day. The tile work was phenomenal. From start to finish, the job went very well and finished on time. The finished product turned out wonderfully. I highly recommend CDT for any bath remodeling project you have!!

Brian was excellent to work with he was professional and punctual. He scheduled times for us to visit with experts to pick tile, vanity, countertop, toilet and fixtures. He offered his professional advice and opinion but never pushed me towards a specific. The crew was punctual, very respectful of my privacy and of my home. They took extra care to leave my home the way they found it and clean up any mess that was made during the construction. Also we stayed very close to the original budget which was very important to me.

We are completely satisfied. We recommend Brian and his team to others and would hire again.

Brian Brennan and his team at Custom Design Tile were a pleasure to work with! We had several contractors come in with estimates and Brian was comparable, but it was his guarantee, vision, personality, schedule, and dedication to helping us every step of the way in creating our dream bathrooms that made us choose CDT. Brian started by expertly drawing out the changes and design, then took us on an all day shopping trip to pick out everything we needed for both bathrooms. This could have been an overwhelming task, but he uses top quality tile, cabinet, granite/counter top, shower door and plumbing companies. We never felt pressured or rushed, and it ended up being an enjoyable experience. Brian’s team was amazing. Master tilers, painters, electricians and plumbers. All were neat, friendly and accommodating. Our job involved moving walls, outlets, plumbing, vents, etc and we had the utmost confidence in everyone who stepped foot in our home. Brian created a spa like master bath with a 6 foot tub that is a dream come true. The hall bathroom went from outdated and drab to ultra modern and gorgeous with an extra high shower head and extra tall glass doors. Our guests are amazed at the transformation. We had very few glitches throughout the projects, but when we did, they were handled quickly and with ease. Without a doubt we would recommend Brian/CDT for any home renovation. A++, no complaints, and two stunning bathrooms!

I would love to give this company an A but there were a couple problems that caused me to lower there grade. The process started off great. Brian was very responsive and got back to us very quickly for an estimate. Soon after we set up an appointment to look at tiles for the bathrooms. Again, went very well and we moved forward with the project. We were told the project would take 2 days, but it ended up taking 4. Not a problem, as my husband was able to work from home. As the project neared the end we noticed a couple problems -- there was grout all over the tiles that had dried, caulking was done poorly, our the granite transition piece for the carpet to tile was not done well leaving frayed edges of the carpet sticking up, and the same granite piece had a number of scratches on it. I contacted them about these, sending pictures but never received a response. It seems the email was received as the grout was scraped off, the granite piece replaced, and the caulk redone, but the carpet was never addressed. After the whole process, I also noticed that our carpets had turned brown from all the dirt and whatever else had gotten on to it. I have hired a decent number of contractors and never had this happen. I had to rent a carpet cleaner in order to clean it and it still isn't fully back to what it was before. Let me just say the tile looks great in the bathroom and the actual tile work was done very well.

Everything went great. I didn’t have to babysit them which is something I’ve had to do in the past with other contractors. Work was done quickly and very well. No problems or issues whatsoever. I had installed 2 different sizes of subway tile on the wall and hex tile on the floor. It looks fabulous!

We hired Custom Design Tile to replace the shower and tile around an existing bathtub in our Master bathroom. We could not be more pleased with the final result. Brian Brennan, the owner, was great to work with, he was always very responsive to our needs. His crew was very professional and their work was of the highest quality. The job was completed on time and as promised. We would highly recommend Custom Design Tile for any home renovation. We would definitely hire CDT for any of our future projects.

Fantastic company to do business with. Brian oversaw the entire thing. Beautiful job and the price was great. Directed me to Mosaic Tile and had Megan help me out to pick out tile. I am not a shopper. Megan was great in helping me. Brian helped with picking out showerhead and light. Could not get a better company to work with you. And they clean up all areas they work in. I would definitely hire again and recommend 100%

Brian Brennan was wonderful to work with as were the two men that worked on our bathroom. They were extremely professional in appearance and work ethic. We particularly appreciated this as the person that did the original tile job was not very professional and did a terrible job with the bathroom. Brian was very quick to respond to emails and questions. The two men that came to our house every day were very hard workers. They were meticulous with the job and cleaned up the area as much as possible every day. The tiling part of the job was done in one week, which included removing the old tile, relocating some plumbing, creating a larger shower niche, and the retiling. We did have to wait about a week and a half for the shower doors, but we anticipated that since the glass was a custom order. We really wish that we had hired them in the first place as they did such a beautiful job. It was a bit expensive, but, to be honest, you get what you pay for and they were worth the cost. I would absolutely recommend them!

CDT was amazing! Brian took us to Mosaic Tile Company and let us work with a designer on what we were looking for in our bathroom. He gave suggestions, but neither pushed us to styles outside our budget. Brian’s crew was efficient and skilled! Modesto is incredibly skilled and even fixed a leaking pipe on the front of our house. They do great work and we’ll be hiring them again for our main floor bathroom.

We had a great experience with Brian and his crew during our hall bathroom remodel. We basically changed everything in the bathroom including tub, fixtures, vanity, shower tile, paint, etc. We were extremely happy with the how everything turned out and with the service we received throughout the project. Brian was extremely helpful in getting us started with the initial estimate and in arranging for us to go together to select tile, bathroom fixtures, vanity top, etc. From past experience we've always had a lot of stress trying to pick stuff out, but Brian made it really easy by scheduling professionals to give us a manageable number of options that were perfect for our project. It made the whole design and selection process actually fun for us, which I don't recall happening before. We knew beforehand what our costs would be, so the process was really easy. Once the project started everything went really smoothly. Or I should say, everything went smoothly from my perspective. Brian and his crew dealt with any issues that they encountered without me having to deal with any of it or delaying the project. I was very impressed with the quality of the work. Everything was done meticulously. The tile work, the plumbing, the painting and everything else was outstanding. One thing that I really appreciated was how conscientious the workers were about keeping everything clean and making sure that everything was just as we wanted it. They took pains to be sure everything was installed exactly at the height we wanted, that things looked just how we wanted it. They also worked around us as much as possible. For example, they let us know that they would need to turn off the water and then worked around our laundry schedule so that we wouldn't be inconvenienced. They also quickly picked up on the fact that we don't wear shoes in the house and always slipped theirs off when stepping off the protective cover. They were all very competent and easy to work with. I really feel that the price was excellent considering the service and the quality that we got. We are already planning on doing more remodeling projects with Custom Design Tile.

Tile selection at the recommended shop went very well and the designer made great recommendations. Work began as scheduled. Demo and wall prep was completed the first day as well as about 25 % of the tiling. Job was completed the second day. Work was done quickly with great care to protect flooring from front door to work area. Excellent work.

It was obvious from the start of the whole process that Brian and his crew from Custom Design Tile are experienced experts in their field. Their attention to detail, expert craftsmanship, and level of professionalism is exceptional. We were able to obtaining initial estimates over the phone then arranging an in-home visit with Brian for a detailed estimate within days of contacting the company. I was able to schedule the work to be completed within a week, and the entire project itself took two days. The approximate cost of service includes the price of the slate tile.

The remodel went really well. I felt as if I was included in all facets of the decision making. I felt as if I was in control of the final look and feel. The workmanship is great. I really like how it all came together. The number of workdays quoted was accurate. I had a good feel as to how many days after start of work it would take to complete everything. The company worked around my schedule and did not show up before 9 am and left by 5 PM as requested. This was really nice. Overall I really love the new bathroom. I have another bathroom remodel I want to complete and would definitely use Custom Design again.

We found Custom Design Tile through Angie's List and our experience working with Brian Brenner could not have gone more smoothly. We needed to have the bathroom tile replaced quickly because a plumbing part had broken off and some of the old tiles had to be removed to fix it. We decided this was a good time to get new tiles and start to remodel the old bathroom. Brian saw that we needed a functional shower quickly and although his crews were already very busy, he found a time slot to squeeze us in. He arranged to meet us at the tile store and helped us select tiles that were attractive but also within our budget. His skilled workmen finished the job in no time and the tile work looks beautiful. We/re looking forward to working with Brian to finish the bathroom remodel.

Excellent. Brian worked collaboratively with us as he team replaced linoleum floor with beautiful new tile floor. His workers also helped us preserve an old clawfoot, bathtub and upgraded the plumbing. On the basis of this experience, we would hire the company again, if needed, and would recommend to others.

Brian Brennan (owner) was wonderful to work with. I am not too good at envisioning things. He went shopping with me to pick out the tile, countertops, vanity and toilets. He was also very good at keeping me within my budget. He checked in and came by to see how everything was progressing. His crew was fantastic. They were always on time and were respectful of keeping my house clean. I love how my bathroom turned out and would highly recommend Custom Design Tile to anyone who is looking for a contractor to do excellent professional work. Looking forward to working with Brian again on a future project.

Working with CDT was great. Brian did the most thorough assessment of our old bathroom out of the 4 contractors who came over to give us estimates; got up through a crawl space in the ceiling to really assess the space above our bathroom to make sure we could extend the ceiling, while everyone else said they'd do that once the job began. He patiently walked us through the process of purchasing all of the supplies for the job at the showroom he recommended, and worked within our budget. His crew was friendly, timely, and respectful of our home during the 7 days they worked on the job. The quality of the finish is excellent, and they finished it incredibly quickly. Would hire again.
