This was a horrible experience from start to finish. I was told that Sleepy's had a 14 day unconditional warranty, so I felt empowered to buy a bed I had been dreaming of for 5 years. It was delivered on time, the guys set up the bed frame I bought but dropped the box spring into the frame and then set the mattress on top then just tossed the mattress and box spring covers on the bed and left. I had to struggle with the box spring and mattress alone, basically trying to stuff each into a sack with no help at all. Worse, they sent me a and quot;Euroand quot; cover, which is about half the thickness of the regular one, so I struggled in vain for about an hour before ripping it and having to toss a $50 cover in the trash completely unused. After 12 nights in the bed, I just wasn't happy with it, it just wasn't comfortable and it certainly wasn't worth $2,000, so I decided to return it. I called the corporate office, and was assured that I was well within the 14 days, and that I could return it, but had to buy a bed, any bed. So, the first lie was that this was an unconditional guarantee with a 14 trial period. I could return the expensive bed for a cheaper one, but not for a full refund. I had purchased the Queen frame anyway, so, I was fine with just getting a cheaper bed. I saw a basic $400 setup on their website and asked if I could swap for it, and was assured that I could do so. I knew there would be trouble when the woman told me I had to go to the store to complete the transaction, but the woman assured me it would be no problem. The scene at the store was the absolute opposite, the salesman was as hostile, rude, and difficult as he could be. He told me there was no such guarantee, that I had to buy a more expensive bed it I didn't like mine, that was the only option. He openly ridiculed me, claiming I and quot;just got scared at the money I had spentand quot;, called me a liar, he demanded that I tell him whether the bed was too firm or too soft. I told him it was neither, it just was uncomfortable, the pillow top felt like I was sleeping on a futon and that I just wanted a regular bed. He called some corporate number and kept speaking in codes, saying he had a Z35, mocked me to the person he was speaking to, and quot;he thinks he can just come in here and return that bedand quot;, laughing. He put me on the phone with a horrifically coarse, rude woman in New Jersey who immediately began attacking me like only a New Yorker could, it was like I was in some bad stereotype movie of all the things people think about rude New Yorkers. She was horrible, worse that the cheeseball salesman but in a different way. She was so bad that I actually caught her lying to me twice in one phone call! She told me the policy was clearly stated in the warranty section, which I had in front of me, so I read it to her, it had nothing of the sort, so she said, I said it was in the guarantee section, which I also had. So I read it too, it said nothing of the sort either. Then she just flat out said there was no way I was doing anything but keeping the bed. I was able to stay calm, and firm and just persisted, and made it clear I wasn't going to back down to those two, or anyone else. That finally paid off, as she abruptly came back from having me on hold and said they would give me what I wanted. So, they did come and swap the bed, but I am not out of the woods yet as they refused to give me the money but said they would deal directly with GE Capital on the refund, which would go to them, not me. So, we'll see if they live up to it, but I can tell you, do not, under any circumstance buy from this company. I've always bought my beds at Sears in the past and will only buy from them, or Macy's, as I know from many years of experience that both of those corporations have far more integrity.

It went well.. we purchase the day bed with trundell plus 2 twin mattresses via phone using the 1-800- on the website. Everything was pleasant the attendant in the phone saved us $300 and recommended mattresses. Delivery and ensemble went well. Very satisfied with our purchase MCC

Description of Work: You should be very careful about buying a mattress from Sleepys because they will not refund your money if you are unhappy with the mattress. We tried a mattress in the store, but the one that was delivered was not the same firmness. First we were told that we had to hurry and order because it was the last one. Then when we said we didn't like it, they suddenly had others available. When the second one was delivered it was also not the same as in the store. They now are refusing to refund the money, insisting that we take a different mattress. You should be forewarned that this is a major purchase and to not be able to return can be a very expensive mistake. In the future I would pay a bit more to be able to make sure I get a product I want.

They do bedding there and the service was good. I comparison shopped a little and it did not seem like there was much margin there but I did find a similar deal elsewhere. They delivered it for me so it was a pretty decent price. I will use them again in the future.

I spent 4000 dollars on a mattress set. Their service was very good and friendly. Their deliver was ahead of schedule. The delivery crew was very clean and efficient. It was an overall great experience. He met a competitors price for me so that was good.
