I have used Metro Gutter a couple of times to clear clogs in my gutters. I have been very pleased with the service. It's easy to schedule, they show up when promised (if not sooner), I don't have to be there for the service, and the employees are very friendly and work hard. They are a little more expensive than I thought gutter cleaning would be, but I've got some pretty, precarious high gutters - and those are always the ones that get clogged. I will continue to use Metro Gutter.

Great. Came out when they said they would, didn't find any issues with the roof, and responded to a request to check one area in particular. Very pleased. Purchased service through a Big Deal.

I puchased an offer for $89 for Roof Maintenance Package. I chose their offer because of how good their reviews were on their work and their rating. I contacted the provider to schedule the service and I was told that they would need a credit card on file before they would schedule me. The fine print did state that that there may be additional charges, which I had no issue with, but they insisted on having my card information on file before they would even place me on their schedule.

Just got off the phone with these jokers. They wanted to charge me more because Zillow erroneously has my home stated as over 3,000 sq. ft when it is actually 2,245 sq. ft. I explained to the supervisor that Zillow is wrong and that they could confirm the correct square footage on the county website. The supervisor then spoke with here supervisor to no avail. They refused my appeals and would only go by what Zillow has on there website.

I just wanted to clean my siding with the mildew and they quoted me for everything in the world.  I just said clean my siding. It’s on three walls the side and the back. That’s all I wanted. S when they quoted me over a $1000 I said I’m not ready for this. That was just horrible and I was just pissed off. I would never recommend them. I am a single woman and I can't afford that.

The gentleman called 30 minutes before arrival. He arrived on time. The inspection took over 30 minutes and appeared to be thorough. He showed me photos of parts of roof with missing shingles and areas where nails were pushing through shingles. He repaired areas where nail holes were evident. He stated that he could not replace damaged shingles and I would need to contact office to schedule for that.

After scheduling changes on their part, the service performed was good. Inquiry was made for estimate for future work to be done, estimate was given and will be compared with other companies before making a decision. Service representative was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient .However, roof inspection did not include actual walk on roof, nor did it include clearing debris (leaves) which as advertised was supposed to be part of the Big Deal. Disappointed at that, but believe Metro Gutter & Home would do a good job if hired.

It was great- from the very pleasant office receptionist to the excellent work performed by James, We had just noticed signs of a leak inside and could see what appeard to be dislodged "flashing." BY coincidence we saw the Angie's deal for a roof inspection and that worked out fine. During the inspection James confirmed the flashing problem, took pictures of the "flashing" and the damaged area because of it. He explained what needed to be done and gave a very reasonable price to do it. They came back a few days later and repaired it. Perfectly matched the shingles. James is extremely professional and explained everything. We definitely and without reservation recommend them.

James called at 30 minutes before he and Alex showed up. I was not home, but my wife was home. They completed the work within about an hour and a half. After the work was done, James showed my wife what work they had done and told her that he fixed the edge of the neighbors gutter that connects to ours. I had suspected that part of our problem was the neighbor's (row houses - what can you expect?). Both James and Alex were very professional and courteous. They presented a family like demeanor which is consistent with all the employees we have had come to our home. The cost was exactly what had been estimated.

William came over on the day that the main office said that they would. He was friendly and professional. I understand that Metro Gutter is a family business. All of the employees that I have met have been like family. William drove his truck into the alley and I let him in the back gate. He set his ladder up and went onto the roof and did his inspection. He advised a new gutter and a flat extension. He asked if I wanted the gutter guards. He explained that they would only have to be cleaned about every two years. That was music to my ears when he said "about every two years." I did extensive research on gutter guards and found out after reading several customer reviews, there is no such thing as maintenance proof gutter guards. I some point all gutters will need to be cleaned even the ones advertised that you never will clean gutters again." I decided to get the guards. William explained to me each of the things that he recommended be down. We went line by line on the estimate sheet. There is a 50% fee to get on the schedule to actually do the recommended fixes. There was no cost for the estimate. Do note that they are running behind schedule due to all the rain we had in May, but I am willing to wait because quality is worth waiting for.

I asked to reschedule (a week prior to my appointment) and they were not flexible. The earliest time they could fit me in was in another three weeks. I didn't realize how bad this was until calling another company. It was night and day. If they are this difficult for a simple gutter cleaning just go some where else. Lots of companies in DC that are much easier to deal with.

It went okay. I had to pay additional. The roof is not leaking. It would have been nice if they had shared some pictures with me of the work because the roof is so high that I just have to trust that they did a good job. It didn't take that long for them to come out. I wasn't home when they fixed it.

I was very surprised when I received a call from the owner of the company, Kent Baake, who indicated he had read my review and wanted to see what could be done to satisfy my concerns. He came to the house yesterday, showed me the photos his crew had taken (which I didn't even know about) then proceeded to take care of the nail pops on the shingles. He even cleaned out the gutters while on the roof. I would be willing to give them another chance with another job.

It went very well & completed quickly. Gentleman was professional & explain me the work done & what was needed in future to maintain roof in proper condition. He gave me a written estimate. The estimate is very high for the repairs needed on my roof. Few days later I received a call/message as a follow up if I needed to have the work done.

Went great. James showed up on time and completed his work promptly. He did find some items on the roof that I should get repaired. He left me an estimate for that work.

Roofer came by and did maintenance package as advertised. Said roof was in good shape and repaired flashing around chimney, which I thought might have small leak. Also straightened out front gutter.

The technicians were very nice and did a good job on cleaning the gutters. However, they left me a bit confused when they didn't leave an estimate for repairing my leaking gutters after I'd asked them to.

Terribly. I feel way too expensive for the amount of work done. I was expecting more for the estimated cost from a highly rated Angies List company - my bad. I certainly didn't understand the estimate as I should have. Charged me over $900 to install only one 16 ft 5-inch gutter and one 2-by-4 fascia board/paint the board. $900 ! Then, after I told the company I would pay the balance by check (which I sent in), the company then also charged my credit card, effectively billing me twice for the same amount. I am so disappointed.
