Outstanding - Mailbox Xpress originally installed a set of five mail boxes for our HOA. Two years later a vehicle backed into the mailboxes, requiring repairs. Jimmy was out within a couple of days, quickly reinstalled the loose mailbox, with no costs or no hassle - just a great/positive personality

I called Monday afternoon. A new mailbox was there before 8:00 am the next day. Fantastic !

Contacted Jimi at Mailbox Express (of Northern Virginia) and he took the time to explain different mailbox post models, colors, and numbering options. Coordinated a timely date for installation and the day of Jimi texted me his enroute status and arrived on time. He painted post (selected brown) on site. Mailbox itself was extra large and of quality, high grade material and construction. Concrete at base was used to ensure long-term fixture and metal address numbers were painted (recommended silver on dark colored post) and nailed to flag side of post; also, adhesive / sticker style address numbers were placed on front of mailbox. Entire job took less than an hour. Overall, Jimi was extremely nice and his workmanship and attention to detail (e.g., paint, number symmetry, and post leveling, etc.) was truly outstanding! As a retired military officer, I can say without reservation that if you are in need of a new mailbox with post, you can’t go wrong hiring Jimi at Mailbox Express - thank you Jimi!

Due to rotted wood, my mailbox fell down on a Friday. Around 5:00pm, I sent a note to Mailbox Xpress stating that I wanted to have a new Mailbox and a new post installed. My plan was to be added to their list of work for the following week. However, I received a call from Jimi that Friday night, and spoke with him again on Saturday, about the type of mailbox post that I wanted. Also, I sent Jimi a picture showing the color of both my house and the old mailbox post. I pointed out to Jimi that I had no expectations for him to install the mailbox that weekend. However, Jimi made my case a priority because my mailbox had fallen down. He matched the color of my house and installed the new mailbox that Sunday. And, it was a tough job getting the old concrete out of the ground. So, from a flyer left on my old mailbox 5-6 years ago, what did I get by contacting Mailbox Xpress? I got excellent customer service and excellent workmanship. The new mailbox with a new post is fine.

Contractor was very friendly and easy to work with. Quick to schedule, came the next day. He seemed to take a lot of pride in his work which shows. Installation looks great. Sturdy and as advertised.

My mailbox post had split in two over night. After leaving a message ,I received a call from Jimmy Hughes . He assured me he would come the next morning and put in a complete new mailbox. To my surprise he was here at 8: o’clock in the morning and replaced my mailbox. It is a well built unit.And pretty too. I picked out one with a pineapple post.I’m very satisfied. His work is excellent.

Everything about this process was great! Very responsive to both email and phone inquiries and very quick and efficient in making the desired product and then installing it, along with attaching my new mailbox to it. Reasonable cost, too!

I called Jimmy late on Wednesday and he came out the following day and began work. He removed the broken post, measured, painted and installed the new one. He reattached the mailbox as it was not damaged. I have used him twice before and he always did excellent work. He is very friendly,professional,and honest. I would definitely use him again.

Jimi removed my old mailbox and post and replaced it with a new painted, pressure-treated wood post and large mailbox and placed my house number in reflective lettering on the front. He placed the old mailbox in my recycleable bin and broke down the old wooden post to make it easy to throw in the trash. The new mail looks great, is solidly installed and is high quality

Excellent work

Called and spoke to Jim the owner. I wanted my existing metal unsecured mailbox replaced with a secure one I purchased online. Since the wood post was in good condition I wanted to keep it and just have the new one mounted on it. Jim was very professional and accommodating to my schedule. He came out promptly and did the installation of the new one quickly. He had to do some sawing and maneuvering to get it to work out but it came out perfect. And even removed the critters and birds nest that had decided to make the magazine slot beneath home. Yikes! Thanks Jim! I definitely recommend this company. 5 stars.

Contacted firm by email and arranged for service by telephone. Owner did excellent job of explaining available options and reasons for recommended solution. While he suggested that rain might delay installation until mid week he actually completed the work the next day (Saturday). Installed new post and mailbox and disposed of old post. Looks like high quality product and very neat installation.

Jimmy was as attentive as you can be. He gave us a few options and went out of his way on a Sunday after a rain storm to build and install our mailbox. He even moved the post over, which required him to dig a new hole, just to be sure it was a little further away from our driveway. Excellent quality, great service, reasonable price.

A few weeks later I had a problem. He came the next day and fixed for me free of charge. I’d recommend Mailbox xpress to my friends

Jim originally installed the mailbox and post 3 years ago. The post became loose. Jim responded quickly and came out 2 days later to repair the post. He was professional and personable. He works hard to guarantee his products and his work ethic. I would definitely hire him again.

I used Mailbox Xpress some time ago (7-8 years?) to replace my curbside mailbox and post. He did an excellent job then at an excellent price. I wanted to replace the mailbox this year as it had gotten a little worn with use. Jim came by and gave me options for a new box. He determined it was unnecessary to replace the post. I ordered the new mailbox through Jim and it was here in less than a week. Jim came out, repainted the post, installed the new box, and it looks great. I give Mailbox Xpress the absolute highest recommendation on every aspect of the job.

Jim once again did a fantastic job for a reasonable price. He came out the same day that we approved the work. He took the time to remove the boxes and house numbers from the posts before painting. Very pleased. Jim was out within a day after we called. Work was completed quickly. He used our existing exterior paint so it would match the trim of our house. Came back later to add a 2nd coat. We liked the fact that his web site gave defined prices. They were very competitive. Hopefully, we won't need another post for another 35 years, but if we do, Jim will be the first one we call.215.00

My mailbox was knocked down by a truck. I knew that I would get prompt service to replace it because Mr. Hughes had installed the original one in a timely and efficient manner. He came to my house as soon as possible with all my requested materials, removed the original post that he had very securely installed, and installed a new post and mailbox. When he noticed a slight flaw in the mailbox, he even got me another one and replaced it (he lives in Virginia and I am in Maryland). Mr. Hughes is very accommodating and wants his clients to be happy. My mailbox looks great! I highly recommend his service.
