Two ladies arrived right on time at my requested start time. They started upstairs and worked their way down. Fans and furniture were dusted, and I can't remember the last time my bathrooms looked so good. They shook out rugs and wiped down windows. The cost included a promotional coupon of $25. It was definitely worth it because I needed help catching up.

They come every three weeks. We’ve been using them for over 10 years.  They really aim to please. If something goes wrong, they take care of it. They’re always doing quality check that’s why I keep them. They’re definitely amazing. The cost is extremely reasonable for what they do. Sometimes I wonder how they could do it for that price. I would have them come every week if I could. They’re very responsive. They even fill out something to let me know who was in the house. At one point, they stopped doing that because they do everything online. I explained to them that I have a security clearance and I need to know whose coming in my house. They’re very accommodating. They found a way to make sure with people like me with security clearance to get what I need. They’re punctual. You call and ask them what time they’re coming and that’s when they come. They’re very professional and very nice. I have no complaints.

They did a great job as they usually do.  (We had them come out every two weeks for regular cleaning service, for the last year). Kitchen and bathrooms were scrubbed pretty thoroughly and we were happy to leave a clean home for our new tenants.

Tried them a few years ago but wasn't impressed. Decided to give them another chance.  For the initial first time cleaning, they did a great job.  They even washed my windows, inside and out.  They are a little pricey. I have decided to hire them on a monthly basis.  Will see if they keep up the good work.

The people who have cleaned my house from Maid Brigade have always been very efficient. They have done a good job. I imagine the price is competitive, I haven't compared them. I use them once a month. They do dusting, they clean the bathrooms and they clean the kitchen very well. They vacuum and wash the floors in rooms that need that. If I wanted them to do the dishes they would. They have asked if I wanted them to make the beds, but I never do that.

I had Maid Brigade for many years in Springfield, and was happy. But once I moved to Alexandria, the new team was awful. They cleaned, but they left door unlocked, the AC turned off on a 91 degree day, rugs upside down, fragile items half off the edge of shelves, many items balanced on a rim leaning against walls or furniture, and everything with a face was turned away from the enter of the room. They left behind cleaning cloths and an apron, and didn't leave notes when they broke things. I did call and complain about many of these things but they did not pay any closer attention in subsequent visits. Turning off the AC was the last straw, as it almost killed my elderly dog.

They were on time. They worked efficiently, and they did a good job. Overall I was pleased with them. I would definitely recommend them. They are a little pricey, but I think they do a good job; they are quick, and they come on a short notice which is nice. Their price depends on the size of the house, and they are very responsive.

They were very thorough and pleasant to deal with. They wiped down, vacuumed and cleaned every inch of my home. One woman even carried the vacuum on her back. I absolutely feel like I got my money's worth. I've used other companies in the past, but I would use them over all others.

Overall, my experience was excellent with Maid Brigade, and I hope I am lucky enough to get such a thorough cleaning again from this -- or any -- cleaning service. (I have been disappointed by other services in the past.)  First of all, I scheduled the appointment less than 1 week in advance, and the gentleman (whose English was very good) was very understanding about my concern, given my impending but uncertain delivery date. In other words, if I had gone into labor on the day of the scheduled service, he said they would not have invoked their standard cancellation fee. (For an expectant woman, that was a relief and one less thing to worry about.)  On the day of service, the 2-woman crew showed up slightly late (and did not call in advance to warn me), but it was not a big deal for me since I intended to be home all day. Most importantly, they got straight to work, brought all their own equipment (some services ask to use your own items, gasp!) and overall did an excellent job. One woman, whose English was better than the other's, seemed to be the "lead" and cleaned 2 bedrooms, the living room, and dining room, while the other cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. The lead cleaner was very thorough in dusting, vaccuming, and mopping the floors. I was less impressed with the other cleaner - she did a decent job, but she solicited me on the sly to have her do housecleaning on her "off" day from Maid Brigade, which is obviously unprofessional.

I should also add that the lead cleaner was upfront upon arrival that it would take at least 1 hour longer than estimated for the standard cleaning, and she thus asked my permission for the service to charge more. She later gave me an update that they would need another 1/2 hour, which I again approved. It was totally worth it for a job well done - and a great piece of mind for me, with the impending arrival of my newborn!

Keeping up the housecleaning while working full-time and managing a 4 year old and 1 year old had become too overwhelming.  I finally decided to contact a cleaning service for assistance and found Maid Brigade.  Setting up my service was very easy and the service agent was very friendly and helpful explaining the work to be performed during my visit.

On the first visit, my reaction was average.  I was very pleased to have a clean house, but upon closer inspection found the hard wood floors not thoroughly cleaned, areas of dusting that were overlooked, etc.  I had some interaction with the agent as our bathroom sink had a chip that I'm confident wasn't there in the morning before we left.  The agent checked with the team, and they claimed it was there when they arrived.  Knowing we are eventually remodeling the bathroom, I let it go at that.  With that information, I was asked if I'd like to schedule another appointment for the following month, and I did.

Upon the second visit, I received a phone call from customer service indicating that while dusting a picture in the master bedroom it fell off the wall and shattered.  While unhappy that I had a broken picture and now also a hassle of finding a replacement, I was pleased with the service rep who indicated I could send them a bill for either the repairs or a replacement picture.  Once I arrived home, I found my broken picture and a house I would consider less than cleaned.  Again, areas of dusting were missed and an entire area rug was not vacuumed.  I really felt as though I had paid a lot of money for a surface clean that I could have done myself, even with my limited time to do so.  I found a replacement picture, mailed in my receipt, and received a reimbursement check in the mail.  No follow up phone call to schedule another appointment, which was really better that way.

I give high marks to the customer service members I came in contact with, but that only gets them so far when it's the teams in the field that make or break their company.  Maid Brigade just wasn't for us.  Fortunately, I was able to find another company that I consider to do good work and charge a fair price.

I printed out the list of services Maid Brigade stated they would complete as part of the deep clean.  If my brother had not been at the house while they cleaned to remind them of the services listed, our house would have been quickly brushed over - at best.  Fortunately, the staff acknowledged the list, however they spoke no English and it was very difficult for my brother to communicate that the list was from Maid Brigade, stating what services should be included.   As it was, even with my brother reminding them of what should be covered in a deep clean, the cleaners did not adequately address what they stated they would.
Window sills, picture frames and the kitchen were not thoroughly dusted and the floors were not polished/cleaned properly.
The stated price for our house was $200 and the services provided were definitely not worth the amount.

my mom is a very nice person. she has been using maid brigade for at least 3 years. on occasion she has complained to them about their service but she is a little too nice and has been letting them get away with robbery. last week while i was here, i made a list of at least 15 things they didn't clean, very obvious things like skipping dusting surfaces and a few spots on the floor in the kitchen around the edges of the island that have obviously not been cleaned in a very long time among many other things. we decided to give them one more chance. i agreed to pay. today i watched them some. they showed clear knowledge of what to do. i asked one woman and she showed me her tools. they were good tools. the problem is they don't really use them much. as for what they do do, they don't clean an entire room. after one of the women didn't do it, i showed her that she needed to move chairs and vacuum under them, that she needed to move a laundry basket and vacuum under it, etc. another few examples, she vacuumed some of the baseboards, but not all of them. the woman whose responsibility it was to dust, was out the door. shocked, i made her come back in and painstakingly showed her room after room that she skipped. she made me feel guilty so i didn't get to show her all of it. in some rooms, as was the case last week, she had dusted around things on some surfaces, but when i told her to dust and watched, she picked up the pictures and candlesticks and small lamps and both cleaned under them and wiped them off. the problem is, its not my job to force them to do it and after i pointed out that she'd skipped so many rooms, she didn't come clean and clean all the surfaces and things she skipped. after one of the woman showed me she had a scrub brush, i showed her the floor in the powder room was never cleaned. i scrubbed it lightly and dirt came right off. she said she'd clean it and when i went back in, it wasn't much different. what is more appalling to me, they've had the account for 3 years and have never cleaned the powder room floor well. now this wasn't a one time occurrence. in addition to the example i mentioned earlier, i found many, many surfaces that haven't been dusted in a very long time. i have cleaned a house before. when you clean a room, you clean the room, not some of it or hardly any of it, as was the absurd case today. a service or cleaning person is hired to clean a house. period. not to clean some of it or be so lazy that they skip most of it. i don't want to bring this up, but, these women are not legal residents of this country. when speaking to my sister's partner, they revealed such. there are many, many legal residents out of work in this country, i am not sure maid brigade should be hiring illegal aliens who think they have a right to get over on people under the guise of working hard.
