J&M contacted me very quickly, and were able to schedule me soon. Gave a good quote, returned, did a great job. They called/texted to let me know they were en route, and when they were running late. great experience!

The project itself was fine; I was hesitant about the price and tried other options, in the end deciding that J&M?s solution was the most cost-effective. What I didn?t like is that one of the workers told my tenants he thought I have water damage and they should tell me to inspect for mold. He should have told me, not the tenants, and besides, it had nothing to do with the job.

Jose was quick and efficient. He arrived exactly when he said and the work cows completed beautifully.

Contractor was punctual and knew all the technical details of my door plus I got some tips for taking care of my door which may lead to another project.

hard working, responsibility, trustworthy . I hire him to repair/ replace a portion of my damaged structural wood floor joists/ beam above crawl space. Jose completed the job on time schedule, good quality and also gave me his good free advises about some other things for good maintenances.

I thought he was very nice and professional at first. (Jose) but I really felt like he was trying to take advantage of the fact I was a young female and overcharge for the job. We discussed one thing, and he slightly did another and when I asked him why the plan changed he got defensive saying that was the plan. Which he said one thing in person and a different thing on text. I think we hit a language barrier and that led to communication issues as well. Definitely will not use him again because I had multiple people tell me after the fact that he was overcharging me by about 300-400$ so that is great... I had him stop halfway through the project honestly.

Awesome experience. We had the run around from other companies, but Jose was very honest and clear on what we could do. He instantly understood what we wanted and put together a great plan for install of closet doors and interior doors. He found the perfect doors for us, ordered them, and kept us updated on the status of the order (things take longer during covid!). He and Mario worked quickly to install all the of doors, and cleaned as they worked. We were so impressed by how quickly the project was done and the quality of their work. Plus, they kept masks on the entire time, which we greatly appreciated! We will definately be hiring Jose and J&M Contruction and Remodeling again. Highly recommend!

Jose arrived immediatly and assessed my situation and explained what needed to be done. He repaired our water damage inside and out, repaired the additional water damage from a leaking toilet, and reinstalled shelves, installed a new toilet and light fixtures, took down border, and repainted everthing. We were so impressed with his honesty, integrity, knowledge, and price that we also asked him to redo our siding, shutters, and outdoor lighting. Jose went over every aspect of our home to ensure we were happy and our home would maintain being water tight. Thank you Jose, for everything!

Jose was excellent!! He was so fast and efficient! Our storm door was out of alignment and he was able to fix it and explained what we needed to do without trying to push us into a new door. Friendly and knowledgeable about what needed to be fixed! Would highly recommend!

J&M were able to schedule the work quickly. Their quote was competitive and the quality of work was really good. The fellows that actually did the work were very customer oriented and kept the job site neat and under control throughout the process. I'll certainly want to get an estimate from them for any future work I have.

The man who came to my home from J & M Construction and Remodeling , Jose, was very polite, and did the job he was hired to do in my home very well. Therefore, while he was at my home, I asked him for an estimate on painting my kitchen and a bathroom and he sent me the estimate I requested very promptly.

I had been dealing with a sticking front door issue for quite some time. I received a call from the business and scheduled an appointment for the same day. I was relieved with the quick appointment because my door had become a safety hazard. Jose explained what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. When my door opened and closed easily for the first time in forever, I was ecstatic! But Jose wasn't satisfied and continued working on it until it was like new. He really made my day. He was so professional and I appreciated him taking the time to explain things and giving me advice for any future issues. Super satisfied with this company!

Jose worked hard to pull up my existing subfloor in the kitchen and put down a new one. He’s even coming back to fix a weak spot. I hope to hire him for more projects in my kitchen reno, he seems to know a lot about everything.

They were very thorough and had great communication throughout. The project was delayed, due to weather, and we were kept informed throughout about the timing to get the work done. Everything was professional and they were meticulous about cleaning up afterwards. Very impressed.
