I took her there quite a lot because we were trying different things to see if we could keep her alive. For a period of two or three weeks I was there so much taking the dog to get blood tests. She was not making any white blood cells so she probably had something like leukemia, but I could not afford to have a bone marrow test done so we just tried treating her with different medicines to see if that would work. It did work because she probably lived a little bit longer, maybe, because we did that but she got so bad I had to take her in and have her put to sleep. They were so kind and caring. I held her when they gave her the shot and they let me stay with her as long as I wanted before the put in the IV. The doctor wrote me a really nice note after it. I ended up getting her cremated and I got her ashes back in this beautiful wooden box. They are really good doctors there. When I first went in the vet looked at her and said her gums were white so that is when she said something was really wrong. They were really good and found it right away. It was expensive, but I felt like I had to do it. I was taking her there two or three times a week to get fluid transfused in her, medicines and to buy her special food that she would eat. I think they are probably the same price as all the other vets in the area.
