This company was selected from Angie's List based on their rating and reviews. I need a set back survey in order to plan an addition to my house. When I first called the receptionist seemed to know exactly what I wanted and I agreed to be contacted by e-mail for the particulars. After receiving their proposal by e-mail I requested that they prepare a contract that included a statement of work, the work products to be delivered, and guarantees or warranties regarding the work performed.
When I did not receive a reply to my e-mail I again contacted the company by telephone. The receptionist referred me to the person doing the scheduling who told me that the company could not perform the work because they were booked far in advance. After asking several times I was told that they were booked for a month, however, she said that they still would not be able to do the work for me but refused to state the reason.

They were willing to answer all of my questions and gave me information that helped me to consider how to hand a complicated situation. They were very prompt in responding to my call and took a lot care in listening to understand my situation and helping me.

The company came out on a Wednesday morning to take measurements for the wall check plat. On Saturday morning, I had a crew coming to pour brick piers for the sunroom foundation and hadn't heard the outcome of the wall check. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to reach someone at their office Saturday morning who confirmed that the wall check plat had been issued and mailed to me. During that conversation, I asked for an electronic copy of the plat which I received within a half hour of my request.

The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. They were easy to reach by phone, they were responsive in mailing out the plat and had excellent follow-up in response to a question I had regarding the plat's scale. In addition to providing several xerox copies of the plat, they also provided a laminated version.

Service was great from start to finish. I called the office, spoke to Roseanna and advised what type survey I was interested in receiving. She called me back with the cost and scheduled the appointment. George arrived promptly with another individual and staked the property as requested. He did not require payment at that time but rather mailed the invoice showing the exact price as quoted. I also received several copies of the plat. One plat copy was sealed in a sheet protector. I was very pleased with the service and would hire them again if the need arose.

They were really great. I called them up and they did all the work upfront without me paying for it. They sent me numerous copies of what they did and invoicing afterward was really easy.

Front corner markers apparently were removed during utility trenching years ago, creating ambiguity about property lines. Based on Angie's List ratings we called Dominion Surveyors. Dominion performed as promised except that they did not call to notify us when they would come to the house, which we requested when we placed the order. We wanted to be able to speak with the surveyor at the time the work was done but he came when we were not at home.

Excellent! I called for a survey to be done. The receptionist mentioned that it would be done within ten business days. The first visit was done within that time frame and the final visit was done within 48 hours after that deadline. I had the formal plat with copies the day after the final visit. The work was high quality and all my questions were answered. I would definitely use them again.

They were originally scheduled to perform the survey on the 18th, but the crew were sick. The office called, immediately, to tell us of the delay. They rescheduled for the following week. We were supposed to be first on their list, but they "didn't see that". Still, they arrived by 10. They courteously answered my husband's questions then went right to work.

We wanted to attend the survey, but our Realtor insisted it was not possible. We just received the survey map. Had little contact with surveyor.

WE VERY PLEASED. WE HAD A DIFFICULT TIME FINDING A COMPANY TO DO A SURVEY AND PLAT THAT WAS NOT CONNECTED WITH A SALE. WE JUST WANTED TO GET ONE PREPARED AND DOMINION WAS HAPPY TO HELP. WE HAD TO CALL TWICE TO GET THE APPOINTMENT SCHEDULED, BUT AFTER THAT THE WORK WAS DONE ON TIME AND EXACTLY AS PROMISED. WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
