I recently purchased my first home using Mr. Andre Castaneda-Perez as my realtor. Andre and his colleagues at District One Properties are unbelievable. Andre was the third agent I worked with after having the first tell me to touch base with her after the summer and the second tell me I was unrealistic to inquire about houses in my price range—condos would be my only option. How mistaken they both were.   Upon contacting Andre for the first time he suggested we go look at some properties that weekend. I was floored! Thus far I had yet to even see a property with my other agents. After a couple of duds, I began to get a bit discouraged by what DC’s market had to offer in my price range but that feeling was short lived. Andre was confident that I would find the right home and that he would be the one to help me. He had no problem taking me from home to home until I found the one I wanted. He used his expertise to get me the best deal and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Andre NEVER discouraged me in my quest to find the “perfect” home, and saw me though every step of the way—patiently explaining things to a complete novice like me. He made me feel like my modest purchase amount was a million dollar deal. He made intelligent recommendations and provided me with a number of suggestions every step of the way. He answered all of my questions almost immediately either via email but mostly by phone which is a nice personal touch. He gave me wonderful advice about the neighborhood, setting up utilities, home improvement, and taxes. He is truly a one stop shop! I cannot sing Andre’s praises enough.   Andre and his colleagues are true professionals. I would not hesitate to use him again. I can assure anyone that if you are in the market for a new home do not hesitate to contact him. You will not be disappointed.
