I like him, he is good. He is in my neighborhood. They are efficient and they worked with me on keeping the cost down and they seemed to be bright. I would recommend them for any kind of auto service. I had a couple of different things done so it was kind of varied. Their pricing is reasonable, I would say moderate pricing.

They seem to know what they're doing. The price seemed reasonable. The guy seemed responsive.

Their courtesy, rapid service and professionalism stand out to me. I will use them again in the future.

They were extremely efficient. The car isn't new, but they didn't try to push any kind of repairs. They inspected it, and they were very polite.

I´ve been taking my cars to Capital Auto Care for the past five years. I first went there after reading a very positive review in a yahoo posting. The owner Wahid is very personable and helpful and I suspect that his prices are better than most. You don´t get hit with a bunch of diagnostic, shop supply and disposal charges. On two occasions when he wasn´t able to repair electrical problems, there was no charge. He has a small shop with maybe 3 or 4 mechanics. Work I have had done includes front suspension repair, radiator replacement, brakes, tune up, oil changes and inspections.

My wife and I discovered Wahid's shop, which is right off Route 1 just south of Potomac Yard, about three years ago and have been using Capitol Auto Care for all of our car service ever since. My family also takes all of their cars to him now. The work I am evaluating in this review are some repairs to my father's 1991 pickup truck, which I borrowed for the summer and brought to Wahid near the end of the year to fix some things that I noticed as a thank-you to my Dad for letting me borrow the truck. I called Wahid that morning and as usual he said bring the truck right in. One of his technicians gave me a ride to the Crystal City metro, and Wahid called about two hours later to let me know what work needed to be performed. The rear brakes needed to be replaced and the exhaust system had a broken bolt and a problematic gasket that would require an hour or two of labor to repair. He gave an estimate for each piece of the work as well as an overall total, and said they could have it done by the next afternoon. When I picked up the truck the following afternoon I was, as usual, pleased with the quality of the work and the price was actually a few dollars less than the estimate (how often does that happen?!). Wahid, as usual, was courteous, professional, and friendly. Capitol Auto Care can be a little hard to find, and Wahid relies almost entirely on word-of-mouth advertising, but as noted above my entire family has been using his shop for several years and we have always found his prices to be extremely competitive, quality of service extremely high, and I don't think you could find a better place to do business.
