It went perfectly. The thing that was different about Arlandria Floors was that they had a product nobody else had. They put in a sheet vinyl floor that did not need to be glued down and that thus could go down on top of several existing floors. Nobody else even mentioned that such a product existed.

It did not go well. The provider was unreliable, scheduling a time for install and then forgetting to put it on their schedule, leading me having to call to confirm and then to insist that they keep to the scheduled date they had agreed to. The installed floor when completed had many scratches and pock marks in it, which they insisted was also shown in their sample (which it was not.) The owner then came by and asked to borrow my wood fill in pens to fill in the pock marks - which makes it look old and shabby. He showed no concern that the floor was damaged and insisted that that was normal for a wood floor that was brand new. I finally just gave up and paid them.  It was too late to cancel them for the second part of the job they were contracted for which was to install new hard wood floor in two bedrooms and the living / dining room of a rental condo as well. They also forgot to put my condo job on their schedule and their salesman lied about promising me the date- luckily I had my realtor with me as a witness to the original conversation and she was so incensed that she drove me over to the store and helped me reinstate the original date. The management never once apologized for any of this. They did not show up on time during any part of the process of installing in my condo, and did not show up at all on Saturday without informing me in advance that they would not be coming. When I called to see where they were they claimed the building had told them they could not work on Saturday- but the condo manager told me it was fine and that they could work. Regardless they should have informed me that they were not going to be there. They were the worst contractor I have ever had work for me.

My floors still look good. They did a good job. Their customer service was very good. They were very quick. They came out quickly to do the estimate and they could do the work right away. I appreciated that. The quality of the work was good. I have no complaints. They were very good.

We have done business with Arlandria Floors for years and each and every time they exceed our expectations. Good prices, terrific selection of flooring options, professional staff that knows their product and can help guide you in making the best selection based on your needs, and excellent customer service. Their staff is very helpful from assisting your in selecting a carpet that is right for the area, to letting you take home samples to test out in actual room conditions and lighting and to final installation. Their delivery staff is also excellent -- they show up on the day and time frame promised and always leave their work area clean. I highly recommend Arlandria Floors they are a great locally owned business and treat everyone like you are their neighbors.

The team was very quick and professional--they completed two rooms in about two hours. There is a seam in one room but it doesn't show at all (I'm actually not sure which side it is on). They left everything clean and asked me if I wanted the leftover pieces before removing them.
The showroom has a very big selection--our only complaint is that you have to work with a specific salesperson, and the person we started working with wasn't there the second time we went in, so we had to do some stuff by phone/email. It all worked out and everything was pretty easy--they were able to take payment over the phone and scheduled the installation at our convenience.

Arlandria Floors provided excellent service from beginning to end. Matt was extremely responsive and they worked to earn my business. The installation of the floor by Mark, perhaps the most critical aspect, was superb and not easy to do. I almost did not hire them because there were flooring companies with better ratings on Angie's List but I decided to give them a try because I had a good experience with them before and they are local. Glad I did.

We found these guys on Angie's List with decent reviews. After a few trials and errors with other carpet installers, some with great reviews, we wanted to try somewhere smaller and locally owned. The place has a new owner and the guy was super friendly and cool when we came in. Our nearly two year old daughter had a blast wandering around the place and it was no issue. It was a marked difference than the used car-salesmen-type approach we had received in other carpet places. (i.e. Really trying to sell you something and then being indifferent when you didn't want to spend the money. And often not very family friendly too). Arlandria helped us find the best carpet for our price and didn't try to upsell us but did make us aware of all the choices. Each person had a personal story of what carpets they had tried. The new owner has built plenty of homes and installed carpets and flooring in each so has a wealth of knowledge. And the guys who have worked there have been there for 20+ years so know their stuff. I was really happy we found the place.

The owner suggested we call Matt, their lead carpet guy, and he was in our area in MD that morning so made a pit-stop to measure up the basement. Turns out that the other guys we had measure it erred by over 35%. Meaning, they built in extra profits on top of the prices they were already quoting. Matt measured exactly and even drew up a sketch of the layout. That meant we had a lot more money in our budget to find decent padding as well as perhaps the higher end carpet we wanted.

I came back later that day to confirm and give a deposit. Matt walked me through the process, gave me an extra discount, and made sure I was happy with the carpet and padding. Additionally, I asked if they could lay down a plastic sheeting as a moisture barrier which I already purchased. No problem and no charge. They worked around our schedule - we had other guys installing some wood flooring.

The carpet was beautiful and perfect when we finally saw it on the weekend. Our daughter fell down a few times running around and got right back up. She is already having a great time. We got the carpet we wanted at a great price. Couldn't ask for better.

They were fine except for one problem. We ordered our carpet bonded and this delayed the delivery and installation of the carpet by 3 weeks. When they finally installed the carpet, it wasn't bonded. So there was a 3 week delay for the installation of our carpet for no reason. That was frustrating. Other than that, they were good.

I am still in dispute with them about making corrections to the bathroom flooring as it does not lie flat--is bubbling. I cannot get them to return my call to establish a time for the repairs to begin. The vinyl needs to be glued down to keep it from bubbling and shifting--it is not securely in place. I have been calling them since mid December. My last contact was a message I left in the salesman's mail box about a week ago.
When I originally purchased the flooring I was told that it could not be glued down. The installer told me ,after it was already installed , that it could be glued down; that it was my choice. But I had never been given that choice.
Additionally they neglected to re-install the toilet after the first vinyl installation. They made a bid deal about the fact that it would be an additional $100 to do that task, then they neglected to do it. When confronted , rather than admitting their error, they blamed it on the original plumber. They did return eventually to complete that task.
The floor looks awful and not very durable. I am certain that neither the salesman or the installer would be satisfied with this level of work if it was in their own homes. I am truly disappointed because I chose Arlandria Floors based on their good reputation. God knows, I could have gotten a cheaper price .

They did a very good job. I especially like the fact that they did a small job once that others would not do. They are professional and I would highly recommend them.

I had a pleasant visit in the store to begin the selection of carpeting and floors for my condo. I was able to bring home many samples to try out. It took 2 weeks to have someone come and measure. It them took another 2 weeks and repeated phone calls to receive the estimate. The estimate was sent written in pencil on a piece of paper with scribbles on the side. They never followed up and I decided not to use them as it appears they do not want my business or need my business.

I found them on Angie's List. $200 was the minimum for coming out and they did a lot for that amount of money. Alberto was terrific, he was wonderful. He was very nice, polite and accommodating. They told him to follow my lead in what had to be done and how to do it and he did everything as expected. It was a very good job. I would give Alberto a thumbs up, he was great.

I had a really good experience with them. They were really accommodating, they contacted me about everything, and the guy that came out to do the floors was excellent. He was meticulous with his work and you can see that he takes pride in his work. The floor looks beautiful and he cleaned up after himself. The price seemed average but I thought it was fine. They went out of their way to make me happy, they contacted me with prices, and they answered all of my questions. I might have them come out and look at my hardwood floors as well.

Overall we are very pleased with the quality installation performed by the Arlandria team, the product supplied, and the assistance provided by Justin Byrd there who was professional and detailed. Its a decision we've been very pleased with as the old carpet retained ambient moisture from the basement and contributed to a moldy/musty smell. The laminate has virtually eliminated this problem. The new laminate has stood up well to the play of our 9 month old puppy and made clean up of "spills" a breeze. The installation team performed the work over a couple of days and even helped conceal some audio cables behind quarter-round along the baseboard.

The condo we moved into had three different carpets upstairs. We were looking for a durable carpet and installation at a good price so we stopped at Arlandria Floors. Although they were busy, they greeted us immediately and said they would be with us shortly. After choosing a few samples and explaining what we were looking for, Justin, explained what type of material would work best. Because of our tight time frame, he also suggested that we set up our delivery and installation date as soon as possible. Then he let us take some samples home. Once we decided on a few options, Justin called to see which samples were available for the date we needed. He made the process very smooth. The installers were punctual and polite. My only gripe about this business: they have banker's hours. They aren't open weekday evenings and close by 4 p.m. on Saturday. They are closed Sunday. Despite that, I would use them again. We are loving our new carpet and are pleased with the high quality padding they used.
