He showed up on time and was very professional. All he had to do was flip a switch that the condo association had turned off and forgot to turn back on. He was very honest and told me that everything worked fine, he could have easily made up something to charge me more money. But he did not do that and was very helpful and an honest person. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The call was made to them in the evening by my wife and they had a time for us the very next morning. They were prompt and the service technician called me before he arrived to say he was on his way which was greatly appreciated. He figured out the issue right away, went to the truck to get the part and came in to tell me it was a switch and the cost was $225 to which I was a bit shocked. He did remind me of the coupon on Angie's list which I did not realize was offered and this dropped the price to $170 which was way better. Still I thought the price was a bit high, as the tech only was here about 15 minutes. But given the responsiveness and courtesy and ability to get it done, you do get what you pay for. Overall I give them an A.

The people I spoke to on the phone told me 6-8pm and by 5:45, Salim was calling me to tell me he was on his way and make sure that I was home. When I got home around 6:10, he was actually waiting for me. He came in and got right to business. I was looking for him to hopefully fix both the dryer and garbage disposal. He quickly tested the dryer and figured out what the problem was. Unfortunately, it's a duct issue (the ones that go from the dryer to the ceiling or wherever they go) and his company does not clean those out. He took his time explaining the issue to me and once he was satisfied that I understood how to proceed with that, he moved on to the garbage disposal. He turned it on and quickly realized that the issue was with the motor, and told me that it would be simpler (and cheaper) to replace the disposal than try to fix the motor. That's what I had heard from other peopel who had similar experiences and since he had a brand new disposal in the truck, I chose to replace it on the spot. Salim seemed to work with me as much as he could on price and I very much appreciated that. I don't have a great knowledge on what garbage disposals cost and whatnot but given that $60 of that was the diagnostic for the dryer, I feel reasonably good about the price. I would probably reccomend researching prices and things before contacting them, but he was very professional and polite and got the job done quite quickly and effectively. Thanks again, Salim!

He called about 30 minutes before arriving, and assured me he had the part that I thought I needed. He quickly made his assessment, replace a heating element in my dryer, and cleaned the lint in the dryer as well. R

The service performed promptly and professionally. I appreciated that the repairman told me upfront that the required parts would need to be special ordered and that two visits would be required.

We were not blown away. He came out to the house and was rude to my wife. He was rude to my wife, and said that we should have called him earlier, that he would have to get a part that he didn't have. He never did the work. He finally called 2-3 weeks later several times.

It didn't go very well. The first time the technician came it was after 6:00 p.m. on a Saturday -- past the 4-hour window we were given. He said the control board needed to be replaced, which cost $430. That did not fix the problem. So the next Saturday he came back and replaced the sensors. We didn't have to pay for that but he wouldn't tell me the cost of that repair so I don't know whether it was less expensive than the unnecessary control panel. I called the office that Monday to ask, and when I didn't receive a return call I called again. Never received a call back. Will not be using them again.

Had an initial problem with 2 of 4 total burners not igniting in a timely manner (one of the worse than the other). Submitted information online via their website and received a response that same day (Wednesday). Called them to confirm and provide information that did not make it through from their website. Subsequent contact with dispatcher for scheduling was via e-mail and had no problems at all. Scheduled appointment was for Friday between 9-12. Around 10, I called to confirm that the appointment was still valid. Around 11:45, called to report that I had not heard from the technician. They tried to contact him, got no answer, said they would try again, and would call me back or have the technician call me back. I reminded them (from previous conversations and e-mail), that the call button rings my wife's phone and to call me directly so that I could let him in the building. Around 1:00, called to ask for status report, and they reported that the tech was 5-10 minutes out. Around 1:05, wife called to report that the tech was downstairs in the lobby. Comments: Before the tech arrived, I had cleaned the burners with an alcohol swab and that apparently resolved the issue of the gas not getting through to the "spark." So when he arrived, everything was functioning, but he still performed a check of them to make sure everything else was working like it should. It should be noted, that any discounts offered via Angie's list or their website are only for repair work, not the service call. I had no problem paying for the service fee, but some discount would have been nice for 15min of work for which he was over an hour late. Well done on getting the job scheduled, could have been better on managing expectations.

Everything went very well. The man had to order a piece that took a little bit longer than I was expecting but once it arrived, the dryer was repaired in no time. The man was courteous and nice.

Our washing machine started making a horrible racket whenever we started a load. The technician diagnosed a failing drain pump. It took longer to obtain the pump from the warehouse than originally anticipated, but he replaced the pump two weeks later and it sounds like new. The cost was $389 before the $55 Angie's List discount.

We have used this company before and once again they were wonderful. I called because one of our gas burners wouldn't light (the 'clicker' died). The technician arrived early within the allotted appointment time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He's a knowledgeable guy and figured out the problem very quickly (this was our previous experience as well). He had to order a replacement part to fix the range so he had to come back a second time. They took a $60 service check that day that would be (and was) applied to the final total when the job was completed. After the part arrived they were very prompt in scheduling an appointment. They called me on a Thursday and came out the next morning, and were very accommodating of my schedule. The same technician (Sammy) who diagnosed the problem arrived so he was already familiar with us and the problem with the range. Once again, he was on time and he was nice enough to call ahead of time to let me know he was on his way, which makes a big difference for me. It wasn't a simple repair and he worked for a while; the price considering all the time & work was very fair. He also had my check from the day he diagnosed the problem; he gave it back to me so that it could be applied to the whole cost. It's clear that he's very organized. Sammy was lovely and very professional. He previously fixed our dishwasher and even asked how it was working to make sure his previous repair went well (it did - the dishwasher has worked great ever since). He was also nice enough to hold the glass cook-top up so I could clean beneath the edges I can't reach when the glass is in place. It was very thoughtful, and certainly above & beyond. We'd definetely call him again. These guys are relaible and we'll be requesting Sammy should anything else break.

My Kitchen Aid dishwasher stopped working right before the holiday last week--less than two years after I purchased it. Even though it was right before a holiday Sam came out and was able to fix the problem and had it back up and running quickly. Appreciated the fact that he also gave me a call when he was on his way so that I was able to stay at work instead of sitting at home waiting.

I would never use this service again. The first week the drain pump was replaced because, after asking a few questions about the issues (but no sorts of diagnostics) this was determined to be the issue. He left and I tried to do a load of laundry and it still didn't work. So, I called again and he came out again. This time he arrived 30 minutes AFTER the three hour window. The part of the service that makes me give such a low grade is that the repairman spent most of his time explaining why we had a bad washer, how he hates LG appliances, how our kitchen (yes, we live in a tiny DC condo) layout isn't good for the washer setup but how we will never be able to have anything better. I don't want to pay someone to come fix something and have him spend his time giving me all of the reasons why my home isn't up to his standards. I also felt like he spent most of his time blaming outside factors (the aforementioned issues with brand and our kitchen) on his inability to fix something. He seemed that he didn't even care.

I appreciated the fact that he gave me discount on the service call as he could not find anything wrong with the machine, other than the original installation. (The Angie's List discount was only good on a repair.) I would definitely use their services again. I could tell he knew what he was talking about.

Man went through the abc's and figured out the cause of problem quickly. He provided interim solution, but an electrician is needed to permanently solve the problem.

As noted, he easily and quickly found the problems [none of which required parts ] and set the appliances to working.

After not receiving the phone call on Monday I called the Appliance Repair Leaders office. They apologized and called me back with an 8:00am - 11:00am repair window for Wednesday. On Wednesday morning the technician called. I was expecting him to tell me when to meet him at the condo. Instead, he told me the part was not in the warehouse! I was incredibly baffled and extremely upset. I asked why the service would have been scheduled if the part was not in. I also pointed out that he never called on Monday as he promised he would. Rather than offering some sort of solution, he proceeded to fight with me and told me the office must have gotten something wrong. I hung up and called the office, was on hold for some time, and then told "He thought you were getting a new dishwasher." I was speechless. We had also already paid $60 to diagnose the problem that would go toward the repair. The manager proceeded to tell me that he would call me in an hour if they found the part. I found the part in 15 minutes and will have someone else do the work. I can't recall ever having such an awful service experience.

(2) Hours late and didn't call to say that he would be late. Upon arriving at my home I HAD to ASK THEM to REMOVE their shoes and then they put on the over the shoe slippers. They had an attitude when they walked in the door. The only way that I would ever use Appliance Repair Leaders is: I have a 90 day warranty if anything goes bad with the work he does. Other than that I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. Nor would I reccommend them to my friends. HORRIBLE.

While my freezer was working just fine, the top part of my refrigerator was not. My refrigerator is a Maytag French Door, bottom freezer style that is approximately 12 years old which is in great condition overall. So, as you can imagine, I was not looking forward to buying a new one; especially when the new models run between $1500 - $3000. Fortunately, that was not required. In less than an hour's time, Sammy diagnosed the problem, replaced the offending part, cleaned up and was gone again all for under $300.00. It was great! My refrigerator is, once again, fully operational. I also received a discount for being an Angie's List member. Sammy was professional, courteous, prompt and efficient. I would most definitely use this company again in the future. Although I hope that won't be required. ;-)

This is one of the best repair people I have ever met: friendly, professional, capable, and punctual. He explained everything clearly, was tidy, and charged a fair price, less the Anglie's list discount. He explained every step along the way tp educate me as to why the parts were bad, or needed to be replaced as a precaution. He calls from his cell phone when on the way, and they are very good about returning calls as well. Would recommend them without hesitation for any appliance repair.

The technician, Sammy, arrived within the service window and promptly after he called. He was professional, friendly, and quick working. He replaced the belt, cleaned the dryer, tested the machine, and offered that I test it myself before he left. I would absolutely recommend Appliance Repair Leaders LLC and plan on using them again for all of my appliance repair needs.

Called in the morning and was told a tech would be out between 2 and 5 PM. At 2:30, Sami called and said that he was on his way and a just few minutes out. He arrived approximately 5-10 minutes after his call and quickly diagnosed the problem. He gave me a estimate of the work and had a replacement drain pump in his truck. Installation took about 15-20 minutes. He accepted the Angie's List coupon without question. Pleased with our experience.

Called to ask if they serviced DCS ranges since virtually no one else does. Was initially told they didnt, but asked them to talk to a tech and confirm, and it turned out they did. Scheduled an appt for the next afternoon. The tech called to tell us he was on his way and was on time. He was able to diagnose the problem within 5 mins, had the part in his truck, and completed the repair in about 30 mins. Much quicker and simpler than we were expecting. The price was a little more than we expected but to be fair, they told me the price up front and actually ended up charging a little less than they told me it would be. I get that DCS isnt the most common brand so it is probably a fair price. In the end, we had a quick and easy fix, so we were happy with them and would use them again.

I could not have been more pleased with the whole experience. The technician was friendly and professional. He explained everything to me and was very neat and helpful. He cleaned up after he was done and told me if I had any problems at all to be sure and notify the office. I will definitely use their services in the future and would be glad to recommend them to anyone who needed to have an appliance repaired. They were outstanding.
