Description of Work: Trimmed back and shaped an over grown holly bush. I spoke with the estimator who came and looked and the bush while I was not home and called me to give me pricing. Scheduled work to be done while we were at work and when we got home it was complete and cleaned up. The technician called to discuss what was done and confirm we were satisfied.

Description of Work: i have had several "tree people" from the country here stop and try to tell me to have a certain tree taken down. I didn't see anything wrong with the tree. I bought an Angie's list deal from this provider. He came out, inspected the tree and told me that there was no need to take the tree down. He inspected the rest of the lot and couldn't find any work to do. He promised me that my deal would still be good beyond the expiration date should I need anything in the future. Straight up guy! I will definetly use him when the need arises.

Description of Work: I currently am in resolution with this company (via pay pal and my credit card) as I paid for the service through an Angie's List special - $199 for $400 of tree service. Apparently they did come out as I received an estimate via Angie's List. After several attempts to schedule an appointment one was set up over the phone for May 30 in the am. On the morning of May 30 I received an email (not a phone call)stating because of the rain several days before, they needed to reschedule and would get back to me. I immediately responded and asked if we could schedule a time in two weeks as I am off every other Friday. I never heard back via email. I called their office after several days and left a message. I called again and left a message stating that my credit card had been charged and we needed to set up an appointment. I heard nothing. I sent them another email last week stating my disappointment and their lack of customer service and that my credit card had been charged. I have heard nothing so I contact pay pal and submitted a complaint (it was paid through Angie's List via pay pal) and I have contacted my credit card. Needless to say I am leary now of specials that are run through Angie's List.

Description of Work: I received three bids from members of Angie's List. All American Lawn and Tree Service's bid was $300. The other bids were $350 and $360. However, All American's price was based a "$199 for $400 of Tree Service." Without the discount, they would have been the most expensive bid (i.e., their actual bid, without discount, was $500.) |All American was scheduled to perform the tree work on Friday afternoon. However, the crew did not arrive and All American did not call us about the delay. When I called to check the crew's status during the late afternoon, I only received a recording from their office. We made contact during the weekend. They were apologetic. |We rescheduled the tree work for Monday morning. The crew arrived at about the scheduled time on Monday morning. |All American's staff performed the tree work as expected, they were responsive to requests, and the crew left the yard spotless. |

Description of Work: Took down some big broken branches hung up in tall maple tree and trimmed dead branches from cherry trees. Nice job: careful, professional, thorough.

Description of Work: I did the "BIG DEAL"; $199 for $400 worth of tree service. They took down the bottom half of a half fallen tree, removed the fallen branches, and removed a separate pile of branches and vines. I had thought I'd get more for "$400"; but I really don't know what this work goes for. The team they sent was timely, courteous, and did what was planned. The only complaint was with "Maggie", back at the office. Initially responsive; but then she failed to send me an agreed-to modification to the contract, did not respond to my emails or phone calls on that, and to my request to confirm the appointment day and time (we had set the date about a month in advance). The actual work was fine, but I cant do business with an unresponsive office.

Description of Work: The men who trimmed our tree were courteous and professional. They did a good job. However, scheduling the services was difficult. There was one day where they never showed up or called and another day when we were promised they would arrive by 8:30 and then nobody showed up until 3:00. I specifically said we wanted to discuss how the tree was to be trimmed and that someone needed to be home to meet with the men. These scheduling mishaps were really inconvenient for us and no apologies were made by the company.

Description of Work: Matt trimmed several trees on my property. Performed a good job, came back when asked to do a little more trimming on the larger Maple tree. For the most part he did just what he was hired to do.
