Description of Work: Removed a 30 year old magnolia tree from a small patio area. Did everything in under an hour and cleaned everything up. Would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: They cut down and removed three trees in our backyard. Ashley Davis was most responsive and came out to provide an estimate quickly. We received an Angie's List member discount and scheduled the work. A week later our trees were cut down and all the debris was removed. Great job and we would not hesitate to hire them again!

Description of Work: They took down a very large maple tree. Did an amazing job. Several neighbors commented what a great job they did. They even cleaned up the neighbors driveway. Could not be happier with their service.

Description of Work: Absolute tree trimmed a Crepe Myrtle bush. They were scheduled to arrive January 25. But the blizzard hit. They never called me to reschedule. I had to call them twice to request them to reschedule. When they came they were very late. However they did do a terrific job. The work team was very skilled and completed the job very quickly.

Description of Work: Absolute Trees trimmed a cherry tree in the front yard of a townhouse that we own. We were pleased with their work. As it turned out we were not able to be at the house the day the work was actually performed and the staff at Absolute Trees said that we didn't need to be present. When we returned and saw the tree, it was not trimmed back away over two entrances to our satisfaction and the company quickly dispersed a crew to complete the work to our satisfaction. We used Absolute Trees two years ago and there seemed to be a significant slippage between Absolute Trees and Angie's list between the time that I purchased the $150 coupon for $300 tree work and the time that I was able to actually get the work scheduled. I hope that slippage is resolved for future coupon purchases.

Description of Work: Following a request by me to about 12-15 tree trim and removal providers, my wife and I selected Absolute Tree Services of Alexandria, VA. Estimates ranged from $450 to $1900 to remove a large cherry tree in the front lawn of our home. The tree was growing on the top, but rotting on the bottom and to prevent possible property damage in case of high winds, we decided to have the tree removed. Absolute's response was excellent. They arrived at the time that they said that they would, and proceeded to take the tree down with some effort. The tree was originally about 85-90 feet tall. Following tree removal, and as originally agreed to, they removed the tree stump and as much of the root system as possible without disturbing water pipes, etc. which run beneath the surface of the lawn. | |All work was completed professionally, and competently with minimal fuss and bother. My wife and I were very satisfied with the results. In the event that we might be asked to recommend a contractor on a similar task, we would recommend Absolute Tree Services, without question.
