It turned out well. He had a few specific targeted areas that we wanted cleared. They did the job.

This provider never came to the appointment twice. The receptionist Ms. Davis (Jill Davis) was not helpful. Most questions I had she would answer "Oh, I don't know, I will get back to you." then she would never got back to me. I had to call many times to get the appointments, and to confirm the appointments. The first appointment, they never showed up even though I had to come home from work early to meet them. There was weather issue on the day of second appointment, so I understood when they did not come. I told them that I understood the situation but asked to schedule for the following week. They never got back to me. I am very unhappy that I wasted so much of my time trying to get this company do the work that I paid for through Angies List My understanding with this company is that they are trying to get the customers by offering the "Big Deal" but when customer only purchase the "Big Deal" amount, they lose interest. I bought the "Big Deal" for $150 worth for $300. They came out for an estimate the next day but when they realized that I was not getting any big service, they did not really want to work. They finally gave me a date after 3 weeks of purchase but did not come. One more thing, the estimator told me that my Dog wood is sick and dying so that needed to be cut down. It is rather a small tree, so my husband started cutting the tree that very weekend. It turned out to be this tree was absolutely healthy tree! We messed up a healthy tree! Absolute Tree was absolutely outstanding. The snow and ice storm started on Sunday night. On 7:30am Monday morning a 90ft red oak 11-12 feet in diameter fell, destroying the front part of my car port and totaling the 2 cars in the driveway. The tree was so big that getting in and out of the kitchen and front doors was difficult. Though Absolute Tree was probably getting lots of calls due to the storm, they made it to my house by mid-day and early that afternoon they were cutting away the tree. By that evening, the cars were uncovered so they could be towed the following day. Monday night and Tuesday there was more sleet and snow. On Tuesday morning they came and continued working, cutting away my tree and taking down my neighbor's tree which had been badly damaged when my tree fell. The workers were friendly and professional. They worked hard. A few days later a large flatbed w/a crane arrived. They cut the tree into large chunks and lifted it out without creating any further damage. In summary, during an emergency period when they were probably receiving numerous calls, they prioritized the work, doing what needed to be done so at least house was accessible and my cars could be towed and clearing the tree from the front yard so that progress was made...a very good feeling after a damaging emergency.

It took a while to get the service scheduled, but when they came out, they did a good and professional job.

Had a few problems communicating to set up appt for work. They had a huge response from Angie's Deal. This is the 2nd time I purchased a $150 coupon for $300 for Absolute's service. After the estimate I added another $75 for more work. Team showed up on time and worked for at least an hour. Asked me to be very specific with what limbs I wanted trimmed and did exactly what I wanted. They were very professional and did a good job with clean-up. Would highly recommend this company and I'll be looking for another deal with them.

Estimate was delivered promptly; work scheduled promptly; crew arrived bright and early, were extremely courteous and let me know when they finished their work. Would highly recommend this provider without hesitation.

Although initially there was a bit of miscommunication with the office, a service date was finally scheduled. The workers were punctual, well equipped, focused, and professional. They carefully cleaned up, removed branches, and mulched them on the spot. The estimated price was $900.00, reduced to $600.00 with the $300.00 Angie's List coupon. We were pleased with the results.

TC Bowen was the estimator and he was knowledgeable and pleasament to deal with on the job. The crew arrived on time and on the date agreed upon. They did an excellent job and leaned up as expected. The provider sent an expert to evaluate the job and then provided an estimate of the cost of the job within three days of being contacted. A work order was then sent out and the tree trimmers came at the agreed upon time and date. They trimmed the designated trees quickly and efficiently and cleared all branches and debris from the deck, driveway and ground under the trees such that these areas were spotless.

I was not home the morning that they came to remove the trees. When I got home, I discovered that the crew had not removed all of the trees that TC had told me would be removed. I immediately called the company and within 10 minutes I received a call from the owner, Ashley Davis. I explained the situation. He said he would talk to his crew and get back to me. Within a couple of hours, the crew was back at my house. I talked with the foreman of the crew and we walked the property. We got on the same page and they finished the job; far exceeding my expectations. They have earned my repeat business as I know I will need to have additional trees removed in the future.

Service was prompt for both the estimate and trimming schedule and willing to work around our schedules. Trees look great, but spring will be the real telling... Crew cleaned up great after the job was finished.

I selected Absolute because Ashley came to my home to discuss what needed to be done and he was obviously knowledgeable and cared about doing a good job. My beautiful beech trees have smooth trunks that still have scars from long ago when someone used spikes to climb them, and I had avoided having them trimmed because it seemed everyone used this method. Absolute Tree sent 4 men, (2 climbers and 2 who stayed on the ground), and they used ropes over various limbs on the trees to climb up and move around. The 3 beeches were close enough together that the man trimming it climbed up one and worked his way across all 3 trees. It was amazing to watch. They listened to what I wanted as they went along if there were questions about which limbs should be removed, but for the most part I just watched as they worked. They obviously knew what they were doing. My trees look great. My maple tree is really thinned out, and I'm hoping the fertilization will help it look better next spring. The crew removed all the branches they cut, plus quite a few that had come down recently in storms and were laying around. Everything went in the woodchipper and then into the covered truck, and when they finished they cleaned the street, sidewalk, and all around the house with a blower. Lots of leaves are still falling down, and picking those up isn't part of their job, but they left my yard better than when they started. The fly-by-night tree trimming crew that was hustling my neighborhood a few weeks ago originally quoted me $3200 for this work, gradually working their estimate down to about $1600 over the two days they were on my block, and I could see the way they performed on some neighbors trees with their spiky boots and mess. Every time I walked my dog they quoted me a lower price. No way would I entrust my gorgeous beech trees to those guys. Absolute Tree sent me their insurance and workmen's comp info so I could be sure their employees were protected and they did all the work in a professional way.

We have a large maple tree that is leaning toward the side of our house that had a very large and heavy branch pulling the tree in that direction. I had purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for $300 worth of Absolute Tree services to help resolve this problem. I set an appointment with the President, Ashley Davis, and was scheduled very quickly. The tree crew showed up right on time and, after discussing my concerns on the large branch overhanging our house, they set up their heavy duty cranes and went to work. Within just a few hours, they had completed all the work, removing the large branch and carefully pruning, shaping and removing dead wood from both trees. A powerful wood chipper was used to reduce all the branches and other debris removed to small pieces and blown into a collection truck. All small debris and leaves were cleaned up and our deck and yard was blown off, so that there was no small litter remaining. The crew did an outstanding job and I would not hesitate to recommend the company for tree work of any type.

ensured nothing fell on houses or fences. cleaned up all their cuttings and also cleaned up fallen leaves that they did not cause. filled in the holes where bushes were removed. transported all the limbs and leaves away. very courteous and even kind to my dog. they kept to the schedule and estimate.

We've used Absolute Tree several times on our property. The first time they removed a tree that was ensnarled in the power lines and a few trees that were too close to our home. The second time, they removed a rotten tree that was threatening to fall on our neighboor's house. Each time, Ashley and his team have been nothing but professional. They clean up the yard when they're done and ensure that the job is complete. We will use them again!

Ashley was great in getting me the quote - including different price options for removing the tree vs. simply trimming it. Ashley was easy to communicate with by phone and email, and the crew arrived promptly on the date of the job at 8am. The crew was friendly, courteous, and efficient. Clean-up was thorough. I provided my contact information through the Angie's List message system as requested, along with a description of the work to be done. Absolute Tree Inc. requested the information a second time and I provide it again. After I did not receive a timely proposal, I called and just got their voice mail. I left a message that was never returned.

Loved the fact that he included license and bond copies with his electronic bid....the only of 5 to do so. Also 10% Anglies list discount and matched the lowest bid. Great service and they did an excellent job and a fabulous job cleaning up. I am SOOOOO Pleased with their work. Now when the winds come this winter I don't have to worry about my tree coming down on my house. It look beautiful too. He was sensitive about trimming the neighbor's tree entering from the ladder in our yard and cleaning in all up quickly. It is a wonderful job and a reasonable price. There were 3 people fully occupied (and their equipment) for almost 6 hours.

This was excellent service. The estimate from Absolute Tree's TC Bowen was reasonable and communication and management of the work by Ashley Davis of Absolute Tree were timely. The tree pruning, including removal of a skinny declining tree and stump grinding were complete. I also appreciated the communication and coordination when bad weather meant workers had to come down from the trees and return another day. Highly recommended.

Went fine. Was put on a waiting list but called a week or two later and arranged drop-off. Wood looks beautiful, nicely cut, aged cherry wood. Dumped on driveway, as instruction. Will stack it, but costs extra.
