Absolute Tree Inc

The man who came out was very professional, explained things to me and when he sent the crew out a few days later they did what needed to be done and even cleaned out some weeds in my yard that was not part of the deal. My yard looks great.

They did an inspection and I sent multiple notes to follow up. They never responded and it was difficult to get in touch with them. I ended up cancelling the deal and getting a refund.

It went great. This is the second time I have used them. They do a fantastic job and removes all the branches and tree trunks.

They came out and gave a pretty detailed estimate. There were 3-5 items on that estimate. I told them to inform me when they were going to come out so that I can be home but they got here a little before I got home. I walk into my front door and there was so much light streaming in the back of my house because rather than taking out a small tree, they took out a 100-foot tall tree. The guy who came out and did the estimate told me the entire estimate was what it would cost to take that one tree out. The owner responded when I called him about that but he seemed to be out of town frequently. The foreman was most apologetic. In the end, I paid half of the bill that they originally said. I really should have insisted on paying nothing. There’s nothing they could have done for me to replace a tree that’s in my backyard for years. So I got a 5-foot tree and they planted it to where the massive tree was. It took a while for me to get them here. He told me that it was not good to have the tree planted in the heat of the summer but I finally had it planted in November. What they charged us were beyond belief. He's not responsive and not responsible. He put the tree in that was against everything I believe. This is one of the most horrific experiences I've had with a contractor.

Customer service great and the job was done well/promptly.

They had a huge response to the Big Deal, so we were not able to get right into their schedule as quickly as we had with other deals and it was weeks before we could schedule the work. When they got here, they were timely and did great work. They charged us $100 more than the cost of the deal because the work was for more than the deal offered. The cost was still less than what we have paid without the deal. The pruning was a safety pruning and it took quite a bit of work. They cleaned up well after the job was complete. They did an excellent job with the work.

This is about our third or fourth time using Absolute Tree - estimates are always delivered very promptly, prices are always extremely fair, work is always done according to quote. This time was no exception.

Job done quickly, cleaned up after service. Would use again.

They were very cooperative in not pushing more expensive work that they initially suggested. In the process I had some very friendly and helpful chats with their office manager, Jill.

As far as communication, it went okay in the beginning but unfortunately, an appointment was never scheduled & as time went on it became apparent to me that they were just too busy.

After several months of endless communication breakdowns, I finally got AngiesList to cancel and refund the purchase. The owners meant well and certainly could have removed a small volunteer tree, but I was worn out but the endless calls and emails for a ridiculously small job that should have been completed ages ago. Too much red tape?

They came out when they said that they would, I thought that because the tree to be removed was so large, that it would take a long time to remove. I quickly realized that they have been doing this for years. They took the tree down, cleaned up the mess and were all done in 2 hours and 5 minutes. There wasn't a lot of talking, just a lot of doing. We would definitely use them again.

We took advantage of an Angie?s List Deal with Absolute Tree and were extremely happy with their work. We had AT trim back two large tree limbs that encroached over our roof. The crew arrived on time and did great work. They even graciously cut the limbs into firewood for us. You cannot beat the customer service with Absolute Tree. They are easy to get in touch with and the owner Ashley Davis, took the time to personally respond to questions that we had. We definitely recommend Absolute Tree.

They were prompt and professional. They even took a small fallen pine trunk without charging extra.

We purchased the $150 for $300 worth of service coupon from Angies List in October. Maybe a lot of others also purchased the coupon because trying to reach and get scheduled with Absolute was very difficult. We apparently were scheduled for Jan 2, unbeknownst to us as it was just by chance that we had just pulled into the driveway last Thursday to see the truck coming down the street. I talked to TC who was very pleasant and accommodating but got the feeling he had not been told what needed to be done. The crew removed the limb and cleaned up nicely but not sure they actually did what the original agreement had been (and luckily all was done before the snow started) No one had called ahead to let us know they were coming, getting the estimate took a while and the overall time from first contact to work being done was 3 months which is why the grade is C. Maybe it's because we had a small job or maybe not - just be aware that you may be waiting quite a while for them to come out to do the work.e l

That was very good, it went very well. I had a billing problem with them, I didn't get to receive a bill and when I finally did receive a bill, I was getting ready to put it into a collection agency. I wasn't very happy about that, I should have checked on the bill. But otherwise, I was happy with what he did. I'm too embarrassed to use their service after my billing experience.

The service itself was fine. Unfortunately, the crew broke a few things around the house like the exterior lighting. We had discovered the damage after they had left and they did not tell us. We have informed them and they have agreed to repair the damage. Scheduling went very well and I am satisfied with what they did over all.

The whole process went really well. Received a detailed proposal soon after contacting them and a crew showed up when promised. Quality of the work was great and a very competitive price. Pleased with the experience and will use them again.

Absolute Tree removed branches from the Hemlock tree in my yard. They did a great job! The receptionist was so kind and helpful. I also spoke to Ashley, the owner, who was informative and responsive.I would definitely use Absolute Tree again!

They gave me an outrageous estimate to cut 3 branches.

Absolute Tree sent out a team of four men, and a truck with a large shredder, to cut out all of the dead branches in the two oak trees. One man was up in each of the trees and two men were on the ground. They spent 3 to 4 hours up in the trees trimming out all of the dead, carefulling lowering the large dead branches down to the two men on the ground. The men on the ground then put the dead branches through the shredder. When they were finished they went all around the yard picking up all of the small trigs and other remaining branches and generally cleaning up the whole yard. They did a great job and I would definitely use Absolute Tree again if necessary, and I would also definitely recommend them to anyone needing tree trimming. Someone had come by my house a few weeks earlier and said they would trim the two oaks for $550.00. With Angie's Big Deal, Absolute Tree trimmed my trees for $200.00. That's what I call a "Good Big Deal."

Absolute tree did a great job trimming 3 large trees and removing 2 smaller trees. Very pleased with their service and would recommend!

Rain was forecast for the day the service was scheduled to begin so the owner called me to schedule for the day prior. The service was done quickly and the tree came down without issues.

I responded to an ad for $300 of tree service for $150. I had previously received an estimate to prune my maple tree for $300. However, Absolute Tree's estimate ended up being $350, which is why I did not rate them an A in the Price category. So I had to pay an extra $50 for the service but, of course, I didn't know this would happen until after I purchased the Big Deal. Still, I thought $200 for $300 in tree service was still a very good discount. The job was scheduled for 12 Dec but, due to the weather, they could not trim the tree. I was contacted by email that another date would be scheduled but that date, too, slipped by due to weather. Finally, I was told a day before Christmas that they would contact me with another date but then, unexpectedly, the trimmers with the truck showed up the day after Christmas. The crew did an excellent job using a cherry picker and really trimmed up that tree. In fact, my neighbor tried to get them to come over and do his tree while they were here (they declined since they were already scheduled for another job). The crew was polite and did a great job of cleaning up all of the twigs and branches. I would definitely use Absolute Tree Service again, especially if there's another discount coupon :-)

Because of the weather conditions, the company had to take care of emergencies. The service was scheduled for Dec. 12 but was postponed until 12/20. I had to do the calling, leaving a message and did not get a response for several days as to the reason. I'm assuming I will be billed for the service. Perhaps it will arrive next week. The workers were courteous and polite.
