Absolute Tree Inc

This was the third or fourth time I've used Absolute to prune trees. It was a little difficult scheduling because of the time of the year, but the team showed up right on time once we got scheduled. The trees, which had gotten out of control, look very nice now. I have found that it is better to be home when these trees are trimmed, though, as the trees were not trimmed as symmetrically in the past when they came in my absence. By being home, I was able to view the trees several times and point out areas that needed to be made symmetrical.

Short Version: Horrible communication and attention to detail. Long Version: I've called this company on three occasions. First call was to set up the initial visit. The woman operating the phone was very cordial and provided good feedback and responses to some of the questions I had. A date was set and the person doing the assessment was supposed to come by while I was not home later in the week. After the proposed scheduled visit, I received no email, call or follow up so I called them back a week later to follow up. The same woman picked up the phone and seemed to be going back through paper notes which was a bit disconcerting as I imagined a messy ledger with unorganized scribbled notes. Turns out, no one ever came. She was very apologetic and assured me that the owner of the company would come out that day to make an assessment. I received a call shortly thereafter and the woman told me that the owner would not be able to come until the next day which I was fine with. It's now been over a week since that last phone call, I have still have not received an estimate or any confirmation that a visit occurred either by phone, email or other method. Since no service was performed, I realize this is no indication of the quality of their actual service but it also paints a pretty terrible picture about their attention to detail and thoroughness. Despite all these A reviews, take caution.

I found Absolute Tree removal to be extremely responsive, easy to work with and very professional. They were able to perform the job without me being home. When I arrived home everything was done well and neatly. I would definitely use them again.

Overall, they did a great job and offered very good advice. The only bummer is that they sent me a threatening letter about not paying promptly when, in fact, I paid them at the time of service. I sent them a copy of the cancelled check and that seemed to satisfy them.

This is the third time that I have used Absolute to remove a large tree from my property. As with the first two times, they were easy to reach and quickly provided a written estimate via e-mail with their business license, insurance verification, etc. included in the e-mail. The work was scheduled for approx. 2 weeks following my acceptance of the estimate. The three man crew showed up on time and did a very nice quick, clean, and efficient job. The stump grinder arrived as the crew finished with the tree and he was quickly done with the stump. All-in-all a nice smooth job.

Absolute Tree, Inc. was the first provider to respond to my request for a quote via the Angie's List messaging function. The work was postponed due to rain, but because we had a fence going in the following week, the Absolute Tree crew came on a Saturday to get the job done for us. The crew members were personable and worked hard. Absolute Tree is a small family business, and though we had a few initial miscommunications, Jill and Ashley worked diligently to iron out the details and communicate with us in timely fashion. We really value their efforts and will definitely use Absolute Tree again.

I bought a coupon and once we found out they did not service our area they gave us our money back. Also, I have notified Angie's List a couple of times about this by email and phone.

Great professionalism and a great job all around! Everyone we dealt with was polite, respectful, engaged and serious about providing a quality job from beginning to end.

It turned out well. They did a good job and handled all of the trimming that I needed done.

They did an excellent job and were very responsive and professional. They arrived on time and completed the work in a timely manner. I appreciated when they laid down plywood on my lawn so as to not disturb the grass when they drove their equipment onto my property to complete the work. I would be more than happy to utilize their services in the future.

It was fine. I ended up spending more than the $300, because the job it required was more. They were good. Nothing was wrong.

The workmen were very professional and did a great job. We'll definitely be hiring them again next time our trees need pruning.

The company (Absolute Tree Inc.) was just fine. We just had an issue scheduling service disconnection with our electric provider in order to accomodate the tree trimming service. The electric company was unable to provide disconnection service.

We had several long periods where the work had to be postponed because of bad weather, but I was kept informed. Jill answered all inquiries promptly, by both phone and email. When the tree trimmers came, the work was done quickly, and they cleaned up their mess. Included in the price was chipping and hauling away the trimmings--much appreciated!

Because of Angie's List, we did get a discount. THANKS! I called the office to set up the appointment and Jill was super nice to work with on the details both for the appointment and for the after work billing. The contract was written, accepted and completed in less than two days. In this town, that is amazing! The owner came out to look at the tree and talked to us about the best approach for trimming and thinning the tree. We even learned what type of oak tree it was. Ashley Davis was very professional and nice as he explained the work and cost estimate. We had the proposal that very evening which was very fast, efficient and as discussed. The crew arrived on time to do the work. They were also very professional and nice. One of the tree crew even handed the garbage men our trash can because they arrived about the same time. He then brought my trash can to me. The tree work was also quick and efficient and just as the contract stated. The estimate for the work to take about an hour and a half was spot on. They really cleaned the area well after the work was completed. The tree looks WONDERFUL!! We can't wait to see the leaves come in now that it is properly shaped after over ten years of growth. It was good to have the work done before the leaves came in so the crew could really shape the tree properly. We would definitely use their service again and tell all our friends and neighbors!

They were not great. Their service was fine, but there was a mix up with the price. Angie's List had to call them up to find out what they were doing, and then they gave me the original price for the big deal, but what they did with the tree was good. The hassle with the payment made me probably think twice about using them again.

They did a great job, particularly on a very windy day. They also did a great job in cleaning up all the debris.

They had an opening in their schedule to come out quickly, maybe two days after signing the proposal, and cut the tree. Then waited a couple days for the back yard to dry (after all the rain) to come back out with the stump grinder. Communication was very good, especially with the person grinding the stump. He took care to protect the gate, rear concrete sidewalk, and yard when bringing the grinder into the back yard and left the area where the tree was looking neat. This is the second time I have used this company and they have exceeded my expectations both times.

No work was done, I used another company.

They didn't do a very good job. They said they were going to do some additional work but didn't do it. They didn't do a very thorough job.

They did a great job! Quick but professional. Cleaned up all the debris and hauled it away. 3 man crew. Accommodated owner's request to work from owner's side verses neighbor's side of trees.

Absolute Tree did an absolutely great job. They emailed an estimate within 24 hours of my request, and the estimate was lower than all three of the other companies I requested proposals from, in some cases much lower. The owner of the company personally answered my follow-up questions on the phone. The work was performed within three days of my signing the contract. The four-man crew showed up exactly on time and did meticulous work on both trees. The crew chief Abraham did an especially amazing job of shaping our trees, but the whole team was careful of our property, worked well together, and did a very thorough job of cleaning up any and all debris. We live in a townhouse community, and the crew was also very respectful of our neighbors' property, parking restrictions and noise levels. An all-around good experience.

Absolute Tree removed an old tree stump for us. We had tried unsuccessfully many times ourselves to do it and couldn't. The process for the estimate was super easy. I just had to take a photo of the stump with my cell phone and they told me via email the price. The price was much less than we had anticipated (although we weren't sure how much it should cost). They emailed me then to ask if they could come out. They came out and removed it and I didn't even need to be there. They did a great job and there was no mess left behind. They even filled in the hole with dirt. It was a great experience!

Their service was very good. They were very specific in providing a description on what needed to be done. They were a lot more helpful than other tree companies I looked into. They numbered the trees and explained exactly what they would do and answered questions as to why. I am very pleased with the service.

It was an excellent experience! The price was really good. They were professional, timely, and did a great job.
