Hi, I created 77 Lock & Key to fill a major void in home security that most Americans are unaware of. Chances are that, along with others, if your locks were store bought they are extremely vulnerable to to discreet bypass techniques. Not to scare anyone, but a properly trained child, could likely bypass most locks. Alarms are good in their own way, but the beauty of locks is they require no electricity. The batteries don't die, they do not fail when the power goes out or the the phone network is down. Or god forbid when there is no one there to answer calls for help. High Security locks are available and are a good solution. However they have drawbacks. Price in quantity also sometimes over time, the ease of key duplication. The void I fill is that I offer an inexpensive alternative. I can highly improve your existing locks with a simple upgrade of the driver and bottom pins. I am forbidden to use the words "pick-proof". I will tell you though that in an average lockout situation takes me under 1 minute, and the remaining 40% in under 10 minutes. An upgraded lock would leave me utterly frustrated after a half hour of noisy attempts at bypassing. At which time I would what any good locksmith would do and resort to the powertool. If requested I can provide an additional "contractor key", that has a large square head stamped "Do Not Duplicate" along with a stamped phone number of the homeowner. While this is not a sure method of unwanted duplication it would deter most from attempting. While most locksmiths offer or include these measures with their service.
