We recently had new windows installed as part of Energy One’s marketing program. We have already been able to tell a difference in how well insulated the new windows are, as temperatures throughout the house are more consistent. Previously, it was noticeably colder when sitting next to the bay windows. That is no longer the case. In fact, during the installation we felt the inside panes of two windows next to each other, one being an original double-pane window that came with our house, and the other being a recently installed Energy One triple-pane window, and you could really feel the difference. We’re looking forward to the lower energy bills we expect to have. The installation process went well, though it ended up taking longer than expected. The installers were at our house for a little more than four days. Part of the length was due to the large number of windows being replaced (we didn’t realize we had over forty windows until an Energy One representative counted them for us!), and part of it was because some of the old windows were hard to remove due to some stucco work we had done in the past. Fortunately, the installers were experienced, made sure we were kept appraised of their progress, and didn’t leave until we were satisfied with their work. The new windows have some nice features. Both panes slide, so that you can open a window either direction, and the panes can be easily removed – allowing for them to be cleaned without going outside. As owners of a two-story house, that is a feature we will really appreciate. They have a security feature to limit how far the window can be opened, so we can leave the window cracked open without worrying about someone sliding it open further to get into our house. They are also better sealed than our previous windows, which will hopefully lead to a reduction in the number of spiders and insects in our basement. We were also impressed with the lifetime warranty they have with each of the new windows. If a window breaks, for whatever reason, we just have to give Energy One a call and they will fix it for us at no cost. We’ve never actually had a broken window in our house, but it is nice knowing that we have one less thing to worry about. If you are considering getting new windows, we recommend including Energy One as one of the companies you seek a quote from. Also, when comparing prices, make sure that you factor in the rebates you can receive from Rocky Mountain Power and Questar Gas, as having a slightly better U-Factor rating on your new windows can make a big difference in the amount of money you will get back!

We have a large amount of windows and they are not always conveniently located. With the weather being on the cold side and the large amount of windows the installation went surprising smoothly. They were quick to get a room done and were always there when they said they would be. The process took a total of 2 1/2 days and when they left they cleaned up pretty well each time. They were polite and helpful and quick. Great experience!

2 short concise appointments for measurements and what we wanted. a follow up call. and the call to schedule installation which was not weeks out but only 2 days out. It took them one day to do a great job installing the windows. They were very clean and professional. Would highly recommend them!!

Jake, the head installer was great & the project went smoothly & even faster than planned. Chris our salesman was very professional and explained the program very well. Jacob did an excellent job with the follow up & paperwork.

We moved furniture, as asked in the paperwork, so that made it easy for them to get the windows installed on the house. They cleaned up everything and were very nice to talk to. From our first contact with Energy One we were pleased with the people that we met. They were all very polite and responsive to our needs (energy loss and heat transfer through our previous windows). Several of our previous windows had the seals of the double glazed windows fail. They presented their Millennium Window line, tripple glazed windows. These windows showed a low U-factor and low Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) ratings as certified by the NFRC. These windows were also Energy Star rated. The company also provided a lifetime warrenty (transferrable if we sell our home). We spent a lot of time researching the company, BBB, and online complaints. We found the company and their product to be what they represented. The company uses a private contractor to install the windows, and he and his staff were wonderful. There was very little damage to the stucco and where there was some damage it was repaired. They took a sample of our stucco and had it matched for color and the result is impressive. They were able to replace all the windows in four days (a day longer than estimated due to some pre-exsisting problems caused by the original window framers and installers. Each work day concluded with the house completely closed up, no plastic sheeting or temporary measures of any kind. After the work was completed we noticed that the house was quieter and the temperature didn't fluctuate but maintained a steady level throughout the house. The basement was of course, cooler that the upstairs, but the difference was not as noticible as it was before. We have been able to lower our thermostat and still be comfortable. We are pleased with Energy One, their staff, installers and above all, their windows. We have no problem recommending Energy One Windows.

The sales representatives (2) that first came to the house to tell us about the windows were very knowledgeable about their product, their company and the window industry. The product did take a bit longer to be shipped from the factory to the local installers - approximately 2 weeks more than the quoted time. The timeframe did fall along the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday and there were 6 fairly unique windows that had to be re-ordered. The installers (3) were very professional and cordial during the install process. The install time was minimally invasive, taking only a day and half to install the majority of the windows. Four windows (fairly unique windows) had to be re-ordered and installed at a later date - 6 weeks later. The installed product lives up to the sales representatives claims of: Reduced heat/cold transfer, Reduction in outside sound, increased aesthetic curbside appearance. Overall reduction in energy bills will take some time to determine, but there is a noticeable difference in the basement area of increased warmth during the winter months.

The windows arrived when promised and they were installed in less time than stated. Everything was efficient and professional. I love my new windows.

The people @ Energy One were very pleasant and easy to work with...and installers were very professional and pleasant also. They explained all the features of the windows. They were very respectful of our home and cleaned up very well after their work.

Since having our windows replaced, our home is aesthetically more pleasing (the triple-pane windows are good looking windows). Additionally, the windows are as high-quality as promised, and our energy and heat bills have noticeably lowered. All in all, the upgrade was a needed change, and we are pleased with the windows and service we received from Energy One.

We were contacted in early October at our home by Dante, a marketing coordinator for Energy One, who piqued our interest in considering energy efficient replacement windows for our 29 year old home. He was knowledgeable and professional in his presentation and, after a short conversation, we accepted his offer to have a sales representative visit us to provide more information. A few days later Jason, sales director, came right on time for our appointment and showed us the actual product and answered our questions without pressure or obligation. We were immediately impressed with the quality of the windows and felt that the price was very reasonable. We committed to the purchase of the windows and was promised they would be ready in six to eight weeks, at which time we would be contacted to schedule the installation. True to their word, our beautiful new windows were installed six and a half weeks later. The install went without a hitch and they were finished in just a few hours with no mess left for us to clean up after. Jacob, the quality control manager, followed up with us immediately after the job was done to insure that we were happy with the windows and answered our questions about operation, cleaning, energy rebates, warranty, etc. We are very pleased with our attractive new windows and feel that we have made a wise investment to enhance the appearance and energy efficiency of our home. Every individual we have had contact with at Energy One has been most courteous and helpful. It is readily apparent that service is a high priority at this company and we would highly recommend them to anyone.

Our home was built in 1994 and we still had the original cheap, single pane aluminum windows. A few of them would actually rattle if the front door was shut too hard. Every winter we had to deal with frost/condensation on the INSIDE of our windows and we could hear every dog bark and every car drive by in the neighborhood. Finally we decided to have them replaced by ENERGY ONE WINDOWS. They are triple pane with argon gas and have a loe coating. The very first thing I noticed was that they definitely cut down on the sound from outside. They are made extremely well and all custom measured. This was a big decision for us so we had representatives come back twice to explain everything and show us an actual window and how it worked. (They are very easy to clean!) We have had so many compliments from family and friends on how nice they look and how it has updated the curb appeal on the exterior of our home. They have an excellent warranty and we are very pleased.

Great experience from start to finish. We were very pleased with the value and quality of the product and with all our interactions with Energy One staff and installers. We were pleasantly surprised at how much quieter the new windows made our home. We would highly recommend Energy One to anyone considering replacement windows.

Very well. The salesman was here when he said he would be. He showed us the product and explained why they were different then the rest. Very professional. Then the installer came out promptly to measure for the windows an door. Told us it would be any where from six to eight weeks to have them built, because each one is built for your house. They called at six weeks and scheduled a install date for the next Monday. They were here when they said they would be and got right to work. They were fast but did quality work because they have been doing this for a long time. Cleaned up their mess (which was not a lot), vacuumed and took the old windows with them.

They were very fast. They cleaned up when they were done. And made sure all windows worked correctly. Followed up with a few times to see if there was anything I needed or had any questions.

Someone came out and measured all of our windows, and once our windows were done, they called to set up a day to come and install them. They arrived promptly at the time they said they would, at 8:30 and were very easy to work with. They were not upset at all when they had to move their truck so that I could get my van out and run my older kids to school. In fact the hardest part for me was keeping my 2 year old twins out of their way because they were fascinated with what they were doing and wanted to get closer and help! They were finished with all 15 windows and out of my house just a little before 1:00pm. And now we have Amazing beautiful windows that are so easy to clean and are so much better at keeping out the heat in the summer and the cold in the winter! To tell you the truth I have not even hung my blinds back up yet because my windows are so much more beautiful now I don't want to cover them up! Even my some of my neighbors have commented on how jealous they are of our new windows. The look amazing from the inside and the outside! My Mom comments every time she comes over that it feels like I've gotten a whole new house! The one and only thing that I feel could have been done better on the insulation was the calking around the windows. It's just really uneven and several bubbles have appeared that have pooped into open holes that I've had to fix. And I wish they had used paintable calking. But that is honestly the only thing I have to complain about. Really the rest is wonderful. They are such an easy company to work with, and the windows are amazing. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is in the market for new windows!

The sales team quoted a price and there were no hidden charges. The installers were prompt, courteous, and professional. They did an excellent job installing the windows, which look beautiful. From the very first contact with the sales men to the install they maintained a very professional attitude and were great.

All of the windows were to be custom built and we were told it would take 6-8 weeks, they were completed must faster than quoted. Once the install team had arranged a date and time to complete the job it was pretty much smooth sailing. The installation team was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and showed respect for my home. They were willing to answer questions and cleaned up after themselves. One of the windows didn't seal properly and they didn't give us any trouble about coming back out to fix the problem, which was wonderful because I didn't have to deal with any run around. The windows are WONDERFUL! I would recommend this company to all my family, friends, and even strangers that are looking to replace the ratty old windows in their home.

They are a fantastic company. Jacob was great to work with, and when we had a slight concern, he was right there to fix it. The installation team did a great job and worked with our schedule. Overall very pleased with the product and the professionalism of their service. Energy One is a marketer for their patented vinyl windows / sliding doors. They also provide the local installation service, maintenance and customer service for their clients. Their windows are manufactured by a reputable manufacturer - Alside. Both Alside and Energy One provide product warranty service. Alside provides a lifetime warranty on the product, even for replacement of incidental damage. Energy One provides lifetime free labor for any replacement / repair to the original owner. The Alside warranty is transferrable for 10 years. The product features place them as top of the line in my research. I purchased the Millenium triple-pane, argon gas-filled windows. The panes themselves are double the thickness of standard offerings in the market and the argon gas is a better insulator than traditional gases used. The vinyl is true virgin vinyl, warrantied against oxidizing or fading over time. They have exceptional curb appeal with their three-dimensional framing around the glass. They also have a coating to protect against ultraviolet radiation, which saves upholstries and wallcoverings. The ordering process was handled very professionally and made easy for the customer. I was able to get a price with the visit of the sales representative. They measured the windows and took responsibility for the accuracy of those measurements. In my case, two specialty windows were measured wrong and the company replaced those windows with a rushed turnaround to minimize my inconvenience. I had a total order of 18 standard sized windows and four specialty shaped windows - including octagons and trapezoid shapes and a sliding glass door. The installers were very professional. They installed the windows in a day and did a very good job of insulating around the window framing and doing a very clean seal on the interiors. They had to make some modifications on the interior finish around two of the specialty windows. I had some concerns it may not look as good as the original finish material. When they were done, I thought it was cleaner and better than the original. My only complaint was their responsiveness and handling of fitting the windows' exterior with a new siding on my house. I was replacing cedar wood siding with cement board on the front of the house and stucco on the remaining three sides. I was instructed by Energy One and the exterior siding contractor to have the new windows installed first. Because I told the Energy One sales representative that I was going to stucco my home, he recommended a window finish that has a stucco fin. When it came time to coordinate how that fin would be finished with the stucco and other materials, I found it very difficult to get a solid answer from either contractor. I had hoped to connect the two to advise me on the finish. Though I tried, it just did not happen. As a result, I ended up incurring extra costs to handle the fit between the windows and the siding that could have been anticipated had the two parties coordinated better. I also ended up having a stucco fin that really did not get used as I now know it was designed. I probably would not have opted for that feature had I better understood it and could have potentially saved some cost on the windows and had a slightly slimmer window look. Still, the total project turned out very nice. The windows were installed during the hot days of summer. There was an immediate improvement in the temperature control in the house. Two rooms with a west facing exposure were very uncomfortable both in the summer and winter as the original windows offered little insulative properties. That room is now no different than the rest of the house. We had to keep window coverings down before to get some insulation effect. Now we can leave the coverings up and enjoy the view out the windows without concern for temperature impact. I have not yet compared utility costs, but do know the house is more comfortable and the air conditioner comes on less frequently and for shorter periods. I would highly recommend this company for their excellent product and excellent service!

We are pleased with our new windows. Our energy bill has gone down and the windows are beautiful. Installation went well. No complaints.

The sales experience was very low key and professional. No high pressure tactics. The windows were installed within the timeframe they promised. The installers were very skilled, courteous, and respectful to our home. The install took less than two days (28 windows). The windows look great and we can already notice that our home is quieter and cooler in the summer. Hopefully this translates to warmer in the winter. :-) We got one other bid on the windows, from Home Depot, and we got triple pane windows installed for about the same price (slightly less) than double pane from Home Depot. There were a few very minor issues with the install and post-install and most of them were fixed quickly. Generally a great experience considering how big of a job it was.

This company would not meet with me to get a bid without my husband present. What a sexist, discriminatory thing to do. I have had a roof put on and an entire basement remodeled while my husband was not only not here, but working outside of the country! Besides that my entire career was spent in procurement. I would ask all customers to boycott this company until they change this sales tactic. We are replacing window and doors in the next month. Now I will contact my supplier of my new windows who does not discriminate upon gender.
