They replaced my roof and added a new front proch roof. They had to deal with the building dept at eagle mountain and the job was done beautifully.

I corresponded some with the owner Greg Wood via email. He gave me a sight rough unseen estimate for the job. Then a few weeks later I set up an appointment with him via email to inspect the house and give a better estimate. He didn't show up at the agreed upon time. I tried calling him and left a message. I haven't heard anything back from him. Moving on.

Not good. They were a no show for an appointment I made through Angie's List. Then they call about 6 hours late and try to explain that they got tied up with something else.

"My apologies. My wife was in the emergency room until 3 am that morning and one one of my employees was in the hospital from an injury the day before. I was attending to their medical needs and unable to call the homeowner to re-schedule. I had called in the afternoon to re-schedule but was unable to reach the owner and he did not call back to offer any alternate times."

It was originally higher price. His guys made a mistake, and didn't cover a vent in the roof. A storm came and the water came into my house. There was very little damage. He took the cost of the roof. It thought the discount greatly exceeded the cost of the damage. I thought the work, and his handling of the problem was extremely professional. We also had a small leak during a major storm, and he showed up immediately to fix it.

They were professional and competitive with pricing. I didn't realize how much it costs to replace a roof or how much the 2-3 foot overhang would affect the total square footage of my roof. They went through the ins and outs and were very helpful in explaining the breakdown of the cost. They also let me know that my roof didn't need to be replaced for another 10 years or so, which was nice.

Greg the owner came out and made the estimate. He took the time to go up on the roof and examine it and found some problems that the others who came to bid did not find. His estimate was detailed and professional. They came on time and finished on time. During the job a few other problems came to light which were brought to our attention. They were fixed with no additional charge to us. Raintight's bid was very competitive but was not the low bid. The roof looks great and I would recommend Raintight to anyone in need of a roofer.

I had a leak in my carport. They gave me options for having me do some of the work myself to save money vs having them do it. Both options were very attractive and I ultimately had them do the lion's share of the work.

He said he'd be there on Wednesday. It snowed the night before, and our driveway was a thick sheet of ice and snow. We did not expect him to show up.
We went out to run some errands, and came back about 10am to find his crew on the roof, sweeping off the snow. They tore off the roof and old felt, and replaced one piece of sheathing. By mid-afternoon on Thursday, the new roof was finished.
He came back on Saturday to inspect the work and go over it with me. We found a few dings and cuts on the aluminum siding trim that needed repair. He was back within 5 days to take care of those items.
In every aspect, from the bid to completion, Mr. Woods was courteous and professional. I once worked in the construction trades as an electrician,and had I known him then I would have considered him a reliable, knowledgeable and hard-working partner on the job site.

I didn't use this company. I needed a little more done. But I would definitely use them when I need to re-shingle. He was quick, accurate, not alarmed at all by the problem with my roof and his estimate was spot on.

Overall we were very please with Raintight. The price was about mid range of the estimates we received. Work began and finished when promised. We are pleased with the quality and look of the roof.
Greg also took time with special problems with part of our roof - we have one room that had a very small space to put insulation in the ceiling so the room would get very hot in the summer. Greg recommended better venting and we have noticed that room stays cooler that it used to even on the hottest days.
We also wanted a color that had been discontinued and he made the effort to find it through one of his suppliers.
Clean up was great and much better than we have experienced from other contractors.
Overall we are very pleased with the job that was done. The few, very minor problems we had were not very worrisome and were taken care of right away and with professionalism. We love coming onto our street and seeing our "new" house.

They didn't charge me for the estimate. He was professional and prepared. It was a good experience; but he didn't follow up. I probably would have used him. I left him a message, and followed up; I never heard back from him.

The contractor came on time to look at the job and sent us an estimate by email. He gave us his honest opinion about removing the old roof or roofing over it even though he could have made more money by removing the old roof. I was impressed with his crew as they cleared away the debris and carefully stacked extra material at the end of the first day. The job was finished when promised and looks great.

Just before we had to leave town for a family emergency we discovered that water was leaking into the attic around the furnace flue pipe. I called a large near-by roofing company that is highly rated on Angie's List. They were booked up for two weeks. I called Raintight Roofing and the contractor said that he could come that night after finishing another job. He was on time, finished the job quickly, and charged only $25.
