After a high pressure sale with price and satisfaction guarantee I caved and bought a mattress from them. I left the store and started shopping around and found much better prices somewhere else. When I tried to get a refund (which they promised I could get) they were extremely unprofessional. He made various derogatory remarks under his breath and basically called me a liar. He had the gaul to say "think of us when your mattress falls apart after a few years." Not in your life. I won't come back or refer any of my friends after such unprofessional and rude conduct.

We shopped several places and stopped by Mattress Warehouse in the belief that a mattress-only shop would have more choices and better prices. The former was true, but the latter was not entirely true. We clearly and repeatedly noted to the sales person (Nick McDonald) that we were shopping for a king-sized bed within a price range of under $1200 for the set. Nick proceeded to show my wife and I several models across a price range of about $800-$1200 and we found a model that we both liked. However, it was ONLY at the time when we were in the process of writing up the purchase order that Nick, in our opinion, conveniently mentioned that the prices he was quoting us as we looked at the selections were for QUEEN-sized beds and not KING-sized as we clearly told him was what we were shopping for. I became very upset and began to walk out of the store, but my wife chose to believe Nick's mistake and apology and story about being tired that afternoon were sincere, so we ended up spending over $1800 for the king-sized mattress my wife liked best. Adding salt to the wound was the purported phone call Nick went through with "his manager" to see if he could throw in a single king-sized pillow to the deal, which he said he could not, but when we headed to the door a second time the pillow was now included at no charge. I would not recommend shopping at Mattress Warehouse based on this experience.
