Great experience with 5 Star! Communication was wonderful and quality was fantastic. After project was finished, they came over and went over the whole project with me and found a couple areas that needed some detail work done. They came by the next day and got all that taken care of. Highly recommended!

Paint job was good and they got it done in 2 days.

Any project I have ever done has always had some issues... that is simply a reality. For me the major thing that I need to have happen is follow up in resolving those issues. Therefore as I offer this review I do so hoping that I will have the opportunity in the very near future to edit my categorical ratings and produce a more favorable one.

Five Star Painting was phenomenal. We had some unusual needs, and they were extremely accommodating. Most importantly, the paint looks great.

Five Star was fast along with excellent pricing. Their team painted both levels of my home quickly and did not leave a mess. They will be my first choice for any other projects.

Very disappointed. Work took 3 times longer than promised. Workers didn't show up regularly. Part of job was not completed but was still billed. Most importantly the staining on the cabinets was uneven and had to be redone by someone else. I did receive a discount after demanding one but the entire experience was unsatisfactory.

First of all, the office made an appointment for me to meet with an estimator who did not show up or call on the specified date. I called and made another appointment with a different estimator. I later agreed to the price and the painter who came did not speak any English, he pointed to the ceiling fan, or the molding, or the door etc., rather than try talking to me. I did not even know his name. I must admit, though, he was on time. The area where the ceiling and wall meet was sloppily done so I scheduled with the office for a week later to have someone come out to fix it. The day the painters were to arrive, the office staff texted me and said they were delayed and needed to reschedule after the weekend on Monday, which was not going to work since I was going out of town. After much texting, they finally sent two English speaking painters out who fixed the ceiling/wall which looked much better and was acceptable. I'm happy to have the painting done, but not happy with the experience with Five Star Painting.

Enrique, the painter, was exceptional. He was very careful and detailed about his work. He covered everything well before he painted, so the new floors would not get paint on them. His work looks beautiful. He painted three rooms and they look lovely. I would hire him again. Thank you.

They were several hours late. They didn't have the paint. It took another couple of hours to go get the paint. There will need to be some touch up, and I had to reschedule for next week to get the touch up completed.

Five Star just finished a major interior paint job for me and I couldn't be happier. All the people from Five Star with whom I interacted were quality people who cared about my project. The people who actually did the work were delightful and we enjoyed having them in our home. This is a good company - don't hesitate to hire them.

Hector is a master painter. The job is great. My interactions with the office, however, were not so great today. I was told by the estimator and on the day the job started that it would take one and one-half days. By Tuesday afternoon it was not done and I agreed to 6pm on Wednesday for the couple of hours for completion. At 5:30 the painters called and asked if they could come at 7am on Thursday. It was a totally professional call and I agreed to that. The problem is they didn't arrive at 7am. At 7:30 I called and Hector said he didn't know we were expecting him at 7, that his partner wasn't working today because of a family issue but that he (Hector) would be right here. By 8:15 I will admit to being a bit agitated when there were no painters. I called the office and was put through to my project manager (Adam). Adam didn't help with the agitation when he 1) told me he assumed they would be here all week. If that was to be the case why were Hector and his partner scheduled elsewhere Wednesday? Why wasn't I, the client, told that so I could plan accordingly? 2) told me I should have called him when there was a problem. How else was he to know? Well, there wasn't a problem until this morning and I DID call and telling me on the phone that arguing with him on the phone wasn't going to solve the problem wasn't exactly the right thing to say. 3) referred to Hector and the rest of his painters as "they" as in "they always use the family problem card" and "they always say they will be there earlier and never are." My assumption is that most of the painters are Hispanic and that "they" really irritated me. I taught ESL and know how hard immigrants work with the language and the jobs they are assigned. I've always figured the language barrier is 50-50. They need to work to speak English and I need to work to understand them. If my assumption is correct and most of the painters are native Spanish speakers I think the company should have some Spanish speakers in management to work on the nuances. The job is great. The irritation at the moment is not so great but I would actually probably hire them again.

They did the best they could. I would recommend when they have to remove wallpaper again , they have more than one person working on it. I think it would have come off faster and better if they had more than one with a small puttty knife and a hand held spray bottle with plain water.

We had a wonderful experience from the estimator to the touch ups! They worked quickly and finished way sooner than we expected! Everyone was kind and helpful throughout the process. We would absolutely recommend this company to any and all!

We had them paint 2 rooms, one of which needed patching. We were told it would look good as new and you wouldn?t even know it was there. The painting team didn?t know how to patch walls apparently and we now have uneven lumpy patches all over the room. Had an appt for the project manager to come look at the walls to see what could be done and he flaked with no explanation.

He was there when he said he would be. Aside from a tiny glitch or two, he did excellent work. He didn't charge more than the original estimate.

Painters were very professional in the set up, the actual painting and the clean up. Would hire the two painters again.

They are NOT considerate of my time nor convenience. They led us to believe it would be done in 1 day when the painter was there three full days, very long hours. They still have not completely cleaned up and touched up certain places and it's been two weeks.

We initially had a great experience with this company. Great bidding process from a great representative of the company. The work initially done was good but as with any project, after a little time you discover things that need to be fixed. The first painter said he could not do some edges, caulking was not done plus other things we were unhappy with. 5 Star returned yesterday with a different painter as we requested. They sent us a painter that I could barely speak with because of language issues. They returned to fix problems and do some work the initial painter said couldn't be done. The work was sloppy, cabinet doors were mixed up and not put back on the right cabinets. The person they sent had to be supervised from start to finish, by me the customer. Repair of wall paint was terrible, they dripped on a wall during initial work and when they fixed it yesterday it was worse. They truly did a terrible job and I'm sorry that we ever contracted with this company. Talked with the owner of this franchise this morning and he told me I was stubborn, go figure. They will not do any work for us going forward.
