We had permanent outdoor 'britenites' holiday lighting installed. The installation went well however the 'controller' box had to be immediately changed out. When I asked questions about how the system worked I was only given vague answers. It is now 3 years later and I still don't have instructions on how to maintain the system. I called the owner of the company 'Tye'. I was able to get him on the phone. I have 4 lights out and need instructions on how to replace the lights with new lights. He said he would come by the following week as the next day was Thanksgiving. I told him that we could be available any time he was available. The week after Thanks giving came and went and I have left a couple of messages since. I have not received a response. If he is no longer doing the lights I would be happy with just a referral and a name of someone who could help me, but he is not even doing that. This company seems to take on new products as a sideline. Beware if you have issues because you will likely be on your own.

"We are not "Britenites" . They are an independent lighting contractor and are responsible for their own install work. They should be able to get you a working controller. It isn't that we don't want to help, we can not help. They purchased our entire inventory and had an exclusive contract for sales and installation."

They were on time and they personally discussed what was needed. So far, it has been satisfactory. My interaction with them was satisfactory. The estimate was moderately detailed.

They didn't show up for appointment, so after waiting a half hour past their time I called. They seemed very unorganized on the phone. The guy said the technician should be here blah blah blah. Then the person to give the quote calls me MUCH later leaving a voicemail stating he's scheduled to come over and to call him back. Duh. I didn't call back, and crossed them off the list of potential companies to hire. Very unprofessional. I hate companies who seem to have no regard whatsoever about wasting the time of customers.

DTI did an incredible job on our home. The estimate was very competitive and Ty was helpful in giving us suggestions on colors/design. The exterior wood was in pretty rough shape so they had to spend quite a bit of time nailing the wood down before the insulation/siding could be installed. The end result was beautiful. Larry, David and AJ were very professional and completed the job 2 days ahead of schedule. We have had so many compliments from neighbors and friends on the quality of the work. Sergio installed our windows and did a superb job. He completed the job within the scheduled time and left the areas cleaner than they were before he started! I would use them again in a heartbeat!

DTI exceeded our expectations in all areas of their service. We initially worked with Ty on the estimate and planning. He was prompt to the minute and responsive to phone calls. We received an estimate that was fair in comparison with other bids. Once he gave us the estimate it never changed one penny despite us waiting months (our decision) to have the work done. Throughout the entire job there was never any nickel and diming beyond the original estimate, despite the little things that always come up on a house as unpredictable as ours. He gave me a time frame for the work to get started which turned out to be accurate within reason. Then Larry showed up to start the job. I am quite sure I have never encountered a more consummate professional. His customer service is beyond reproach in his concern for making sure we were satisfied every step of the way, in making sure we were inconvenienced as little as possible by their work, and in letting us know exactly when he would and would not be here. Once he started the job, he was there everyday until it was done. He and AJ even cleaned up completely at the end of every day down to the last piece of scrap on the ground. All that was just gravy on top of the fact that he is an ultimate craftsman and perfectionist. His skills and attention to detail was quite incredible. Our house created many challenges that he overcame with what seemed like simplicity, but I know was a lot of hard work. We could not be happier with how it came out and with who did the work. Not only are neighbors commenting on how great it looks, but our next door neighbors were so impressed that Larry's truck was in their driveway shortly after and, of course, their house looks great now as well. This company goes the extra mile to make sure their customers are satisfied.

You have not ever been scheduled to receive an appointment from us. If you spoke with someone here, I would very much like to know who. If we scheduled an appointment and could not make it, We would have called to reschedule it. I don't think you have the right company."

I called DTI to see if they could help me after I had been stiffed by another company. I thought my gutters needed to be re-pitched because they overflowed badly. Josh from DTI came out the same day and told me that it looked as if my gutters were just clogged and a good cleaning. He said he would get me on his schedule as soon as possible. Much to my surprise, they called me today to say they had a crew on the way to do my job today because it was a straight forward.
Two gentlemen came out and in less than three hours had my gutters clean as a whistle and had the gutter guards back in place too.
They worked quickly and efficiently and took all the refuse with them. I thrilled because with the the snow coming I was looking toward a lot of gutter problems.
Many thanks to DTI and the crew that came to my home. I will use them for all my gutter needs in the future if possible.

I have nothing but good things to report about my experience with DTI. They were easy to work with and their staff of installers were all very friendly and happy to show me what they were doing and why. DTI was also able to help me out in a bind where another contractor left with the work unfinished, DTI picked up the ball and ran with it. They had three separate teams onsite. One team to install the siding/soffit and fascia, another framing team to replace the support beam, and another who came and installed the rain gutters. I am very happy with the final results and I would definitely use DTI again.

Installation was relatively painless. Tear down was quick, and I didn't have any mess I had to clean up myself. The new siding when up quickly, and the lead installer had some suggestions on how to use some excess materials to improve the look. There were a few minor things they forgot, like some trim around a window and an encasement around a lighting block, but I called the installer and they took care of them within a few days. The neighbors have commented that they like the look, and I am glad to be free of painting.
Overall I was pleased, and felt like I had gotten good value for the money, but I did have two frustrating issues:
The new gutters don't have to the same slope as the old ones. Before, all my gutters drained onto the north side of the house into lawn/garden areas. The installer indicated the pitch wasn't sufficient, so he added downspouts on the south side as well, onto an RV pad and into the concrete walk on the southwest corner of the house. The RV pad is an inconvenience -- it gets a bit icy for a day or two when the snow melts, but the sun takes care of it okay . The south west downspout though, doesn't get as much sun, so it freezes up and then water drops from the end of the gutter right onto the gate and freezes into a mound. I don't use the gate much in the winter, otherwise it would be a big problem. I intend to have DTI come back and do something about it.
Overall I was pleased, and felt like I had gotten good value for the money, but I did have two frustrating issues:
- The post on which my gate latched was attached to the house via a 2 inch diameter spacing pipe. Unfortunately, this 2 inch spacing wasn't enough for the new siding. So, I told them to just just cut the post away from the house and we could deal with it later. When they removed the post thought, however, they cracked the concrete badly, bending the mounting bolts that I had hoped to re-use, and widened out the whole themselves so they are unusuable. After a few phone calls trying to explain the issue, I needed to have the issue fixed right away to keep the dog in the backyard, so I ended up replacing the old 2 inch diameter spacer with a 4x4 redwood post that gave me the clearance I needed from the side of the house to be able to operate and the gate latch and keep the dog inside.

The installers showed up early and worked over time everyday until the job was complete. It was the hottest days of the year. They fulfilled some special requests and the work was excellent. I would recommend DTI to anyone. We are very pleased.

This is the third time we have used DTI. Each time they have impressed us with their hard work, professionalism, honesty and fair pricing. From Tye who provided the estimates, Kathy who scheduled our work order to Sergio who took the actual measurements and did the installation along with Edgar. These folks are first class from the word go. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone who needs window replacement, siding or gutters. I have had all of this performed on my home.

Their prices are competitive and towards the low side and their quality is good. There was some misunderstanding about whether they would run the gutter underground and could have been handled more professionally, but otherwise their customer service is good.

I contacted Double T for quotes on fixing my gutters on Monday, January 13th, 2014. I spoke with someone at the office and she promised a representative would call back within 30 minutes to set up a time to come to my home and give me a quote. As promised, Ty (the Owner), contacted me and we set up a time to meet that afternoon. He arrived on time (early, actually) and was able to provide me all the information I needed in a professional, timely manner. I was originally looking to just fix my gutters but opted to replace due to some of the damage and realizing the cost to replace was not as much as I had originally thought. He provided me with a written quote that day.
I decided to use Double T and Ty let me know he could have his team available that week on Thurdsay (January 16th, 2014) morning. I contacted his office Wednesday afternoon to verify what time they were arriving so I could make sure my dogs were in the house. Ty promised they would arrive around 9:30 am and stay for approximately 3 hours. I wasn't at the house but arrived shortly after 1 pm to a complete job, very well done. The only, very small issue was some small metal garbage left onsite but they may not have seen it due to the snow in the area I found it - like I said, not a big deal.
I contacted the office and spoke with Cathy to pay the bill the next day and she sent me an email receipt on Monday afternoon.
I would high recommend Double T for your gutter repair/replacement work.

It looks great, I'm very happy with the job. The installer recommended moving one of my downspouts to a different location from the old one, which was a good idea. The color is a very good match to my storm doors and windows, so it looks very professional.

The repairman arrived on the day expected in the afternoon at end of the time window. Only one worker to climb up and do all the gutters and downspouts on two story front and one story back of the house. He left the discarded gutters on the lawn a little too long and they discolored the grass in the front in two places. The lawn turned yellow in two stripes. The job was done in a 4 to 5 hour period. We plan to have them come back in fall and add wiring to melt snow and keep from having ice blockage on north side of house. Did not find a solution for the front porch smaller gutter with no downspout or way of emptying except on the front steps causing icy steps and cement cracking in winter. He cleaned up the dirt and leaves from the old gutters that fell from the gutters and downspouts before he left. He took all the old gutters and down spouts and parts with him. The color is a close but not exact match to the old aluminum fascia under the eaves. It does look very nice and finished and rain came a day or two later and did not run all over and into the back door. .

FANTASTIC! The estimate came quickly. After some checking around, their price was well below any others in the area.
The gentleman I dealt with was friendly, professional, and punctual. His crew arrived on the day and at the time promised and they completed the work in a timely manner. No trash, nails or other items were left behind. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We had Double T come out and replace the plywood walling, siding and add a gutter. They did a great job! We plan on using them when we reside the rest of our house to match the new siding we had put on, as well as replace our remaining gutters. I would definitely recommend them for anything exterior.
