At first, Joe was very responsive to my inquiries about mortgages and was very prompt at sending me good faith estimates. As the closing date approached, Joe would reaffirm that all the documents were ready and that there was nothing to worry about. But, the documents were not ready (it was clearly Joe's fault), we did not close until 3 days later than the day we had to close, numerous documents were not ready and our real estate agent and the escrow officer had to hunt Joe down for those documents. They told us that this company was the worst to work with that they had ever worked with. It was 3 months ago and still, we are tracking them down for certain documents that are missing. Also, we asked for a certain type of financing, but in the end, he gave us the documents for another type of financing that was clearly to his advantage. Joe played bait and switch on us. In short, nightmare experience for all. I do not recommend this lender.
Description of Work: I worked with Joe Thornhill to get financing on a new home. Joe helped me find a mortgage that is right for me. Joe closed on the home as well.
