The crew was fantastic. They were on time (even a little early) and went straight to work. They were thorough...all the products used were what I asked for and as contracted. They did a great job in clean-up. I'm just a homeowner...no contracting experience...but I felt I was dealt with fairly and professionally. I came away very happy and would recommend Gerald and his crew to anyone facing a roofing challenge.

Everything went fine, Gerald was very professional. Roof looks great. Felt like the extra materials that were added on after service were very overpriced, but grateful to have available financing.

Not so good. We have broken stucco, leaky windows and a broken window seal. Called Gerald a few months back to see if he could do anything about it. Haven't heard from him since. I have since joined Angies list and I saw his company with an A rating. Must be filling them out himself, not by real customers.

We contacted several roofers from Angie's List. We asked 4 for bids and three responded. Gerald from IWC was by far the most professional. He came to our home around our schedule and spent at least two hours with us going over the process including cost, materials, aspects of the crew, insurance, time frame, and clean up. We were able to ask questions and understood the information he provided. Gerald responded quickly to any questions we had before, during and after the completion of the job. His crew was able to start the day before we were scheduled and were respectful of our time and our individual needs. They worked quickly and efficiently. The work was completed on time and on budget. Many of our neighbors have already commented on how nice our house looks. There may be other companies out there willing to do the work on our small house, but we really felt the extra attention to detail and the personal service we received made the entire project a success. I would highly recommend IWC to anyone looking for a high quality beautiful roof.

The team of roofers showed up promptly and went straight to work. When I went out to meet them they were friendly and professional. This was our first experience with a roofing company, and I had a lot of questions throughout the day. As I checked on their progress every so often, (mainly out of curiosity since I'd never seen a roof installed), both gentlemen (a third joined them later in the afternoon) were happy to answer any questions I had. Their attention to detail was impressive, as they addressed an old attic vent, 2 old satellite dishes, and a very old antenna. After confirming that we did indeed want them all removed, the work continued, including permanently patching the hole left by the attic vent before roofing that section. In response to my husband's inquiry by phone, the guys showed me the materials they used to secure the opening, all contractor grade, so that we were satisfied there would be no leakage. I really appreciated them going the extra mile to answer all of our questions! The entire day went smoothly, and our roof looks absolutely beautiful! I couldn't be happier with the outcome, and just wish I had photos...it literally began to pour as the roofing team drove off down the street! Talk about perfect timing! Two of our neighbors actually stopped by to compliment our new roof, and one of them hired Intermountain West Contractors tonight! We give Intermountain West Contractors and A+++ all the way around! You will love the work they do!

We had discovered the problem with our roof on a Friday evening. We had originally thought that this could be fixed by us. Oh, not so. Early Saturday morning after a rather sleepless night we got on Angie's List and started looking for a roofer. Finding IWC: Intermountain Western Contractors LLC and seeing the 78 wonderful "A" reviews, we called them and it was still very early on a Saturday morning. Gerald answered the phone, not a answering machine, a real live man. He listened, and gave us a rough estimate right then and there. An appointment was made for the following Monday evening, he was on time and professional, and very personable. We were blessed to have them start on Thursday morning of the same week. A dumpster was brought in, the weather was hot, these amazing men worked at least 12 hours Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They cleaned up at the end of each day, were very polite and respecting of our property, not just the roof but the yard as well. A little work needed to be done on the following Monday and the job was completed. WELL DONE IWC: INTERMOUNTAIN WESTERN CONTRACTORS LLC.

Gerald was very friendly and professional. He was very responsive to our needs. We have approximately 3900 square feet of roof with a low pitch. He and his crew tore off the old and replaced the roof in 1 day! Very impressive. His price was very competitive. Several neighbors have asked for their contact information because it was done and cleaned up so quickly. His estimation on the gutters was a little low, but he was willing to still honor the original bid. It is evident that Gerald takes great pride in his company.

They were able to work our job in earlier than we thought which was wonderful. They promised it would only take 2 days but they were able to finish in a day and a half. They kept everything around the yard neat an clean and the workmen were very pleasant. They went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with their workmanship. Where the weather vain sits on the roof they made it look really awesome. We would recommend them to anyone. Gerald Sommer was really great to work with and we really appreciated their service.

Service was excellent, arrived at stated time. Completed the job on time, without any mishaps or additional cost from stated bid. Answered all my questions and then some. Removed and carted away my old evaporative cooler. Owner was very courteous and professional. Bent over backwards to accommodate me changing my mind on requested services. Gerald's crew arrived on June 24 around 3. The crew began to layout the roofing. I was concerned they were not trimming the existing shingles that were curled. I called Gerald and he spoke with his crew. They did trim the shingles that were curled before laying new shingles which helped my comfort level. The crew returned the following day and completed the work. They cleaned up the area. Gerald agreed to help place a new swamp cooler at no extra cost. Fair pricing and fantastic knowledge of the roofing industry...

Excellent..Got done in 1 day...followed up on time with little issues. Gerald, the owner is very professional...he is very customer oriented and did a great job explaining me all the options and with answering all my questions.

The overall job went over really well, The crew showed up promptly at 7:30 am on the scheduled date. I did not make it home untill the job was 60% complete, which was about 2:30 pm, my wife was home all day and said they were busting it out all day. they kept the yard clean during the process covering bushes, plants, and grass. They asked my wife if she wanted them to do anything with some rotted facia boards, and if we had any leaks in the roof, she informed them that I would take care of the boards at a later date, and that there had been a previous leak around the chimney and below a previous removed swamp cooler. The crew finished the Job at around 6pm that evening after clean up. I was approached by two neighbors that evening complementing on the looks of the new roof, and how quickly it was accomplished. I'm A DIYer and normaly won't hire contractors to do anything because I'm a perfectionist and typicaly contractors don't stack up. IWC did a better job than most contractors I have come in contact with, I'm overall pleased with the outcome,...but the flashing on the chimney isn't parallel with the grout lines in the brick (minor), and the bid included 8 sheets of roof decking, they only replaced one and a half, there were two more sheets with obvious past water damage that they did not replace, although I couldn't really tell that the boards were soft after the final installation, but they should have been replaced. These are kind of minor things and that's why I usualy do things myself, but this is a big job for one person, the price was approximately what I paid 15 years ago for a 2nd layer, so I'm not complaining

The workers showed up a day later than was planned, but the owner/sales representative called ahead of time to explain a delay on a previous job, so it wasn't a big surprise. The workers were fast and efficient. My house has a unique feature that allows you to access a patio-deck above my garage from a stairwell inside my home. The previous home owners just rented the house out and didn't take care of it. As a result there was some considerable water damage to some of the wood around the door to the deck. They removed the rotted wood and replaced it with new wood in order to finish their job the correct way. This was done without any extra charge.

We got several bids and this company provided the highest quality product with the lowest price. They started the project a day late due to their work load but we were notified by the CEO Gerald Sommer who remained in contact with us throughout the completion of the project. The workers were respectful, worked hard and left our property in better shape than they found it. Our roof looks great. We would work with this company again in the future if the need arises and would recommend them to others.

They were very easy to work with. Their communication could be improved but over all they were wonderful. They did such a good job and would recommend them to anyone.

Very well, Provided the best overall scope of work for budget we were looking for. Installed most of the items as spec't in the contract. A couple of changes orders were needed for performance and work was done on time and on budget. Issues that occured were resolved, company took responsibility, and final product met, if not exceeded, our expectations.

The crew arrived at 7:00 A.M. on scheduled day and completed the job in two days as it was promised by Gerald. Guys worked hard and professionally; they cleaned up every day, especially when they removed our old roof in the first day. They were very polite and answered all our questions. Roofers arrived early and went rite to work. replaced caps and rain flashing that was needed. Keeped things very clean even though it was very windy. Roof look great would recommend them to everyone.

The windows were replaced in an efficient manner and the quality of the work was very good. the house is very quit now and you do not fill the extreme heat and cold when standing by them. Only took the contractor about 8 hours to replace 12 windows.

They were there on time, done on time and cleaned up when they were done ! Their employees are very professional. They are all friendly, fast and clean looking. I didn't hear any foul language at all. The quality of their work has already been noticed by several of my neighbors. The lines in the roof are straight and neat. Thanks again guys ! I want to start this off by saying that working with Gerald Sommer from Intermountain West Contractors has left me feeling like there are still people out there that their word means something, that they are honest and trustworthy, and that they care about the quality of work that they do. I would highly recommend them for any of your roofing needs. Now let?s look at the details that back up my recommendation above. We have been in our home for 18 years and we are the first owners. We had noticed a small leak and we have had a couple of other contractors come out and look at the problem. The issue that caused our leak was one of bad installation by those that built our house initially. They had nailed the shingles right down into the valley and as the shingles wore down and as the water would build up in the valley it would run down the nails and into our attic. I just didn?t feel right about either of them so we did not proceed with them. Then we found Gerald, when we first contacted Gerald to come out and look at our roof to give us a bid. We had set an appointment for this to happen. He was running late that day, but he called us before our scheduled meeting time to make sure that it was ok to reschedule for an hour later, we confirmed the new time and he was very prompt. Once arriving he went up on the roof to look at our concerns and to measure for the estimate. On sitting down with him and going over his recommendation, looking through all of the reviews of his business and the products that he would use we decided to go ahead and scheduled the work to be done. Because our roof had a leak it had to be a tear off and not just a recover. Therefore he was going to be bringing our roof up to current building codes in the process. The part of the bid that caught my attention was his attention to detail. He know how many sheets of plywood he world need, he know all of his other supplies down to just how many nails he would need to complete the job. Having grown up in the construction business with a father and brother both being General Contractors I was very impressed by this. Gerald stayed in contact with us and answered any questions we had and double checked all of the items including the color of the shingles with us between the appointment and the starting of the job. His crew showed up as scheduled and the whole job was completed as promised/scheduled. Just two days to do a complete tear off, bring up to code, and re-shingle of our entire roof. Very efficient, The crew that worked on my roof was very polite, hardworking and answered all my questions. They cleaned up promptly and thoroughly each night.. The roof was completed in two days. My initial call for a bid was answered promply and details were given me about what they would do and about the type of shingles to be used. The only negative was securing a specific date for the work to begin. I called several times asking for the work date and didn't get a call back for several days. I would highly recommend this company.
