Description of Work: Replaced a commode some plumbing under the sink and a faucet set and did entire house plumbing inspection. He was very nice but the expense was shocking. I am not sure if that was fairly priced as my experience has been limited so I have no frame of reference

Description of Work: Replaced a bathroom sink faucet. Sold me a service package good for 1 year on any other issues. Did a professional job and checked the flush in toilets. Forgot to close the outside cover to water meter but came back promptly after I recalled them.

Description of Work: I called twice and asked for an estimate on a simple toilet flange replacement. They refused to provide any estimate or range of cost for the service. There was no service so no date. Angies list provided no help on this until I tried to cancel which was beyond the Angies list 30 day limit. Now we'll see what happens. Also angies list charge double for the current month subscription - I will be auditing past months for other unauthorized charges.

Unfortunately, we do not keep a licensed plumber in the office to answer occasional pricing questions which allows us to keep our costs lower for our customers. Our Customer service representatives are not qualified to diagnose plumbing problems over the phone therefore unable to properly quote prices. I apologize you felt you were treated poorly by Angie's List, their rules and overcharged on your statement which we have no control over.

Description of Work: Harvey West showed up promptly to install a new water heater. They did an outstanding job and I was very happy with the service. I did not shop around so I can not say if the price was the best, but he did tell me about some coupons which he applied to the total bill. Cost aside, the the actual work was timely and done professionally.

Description of Work: Gentleman who came to my house was very nice. However, the prices were really high. He wanted to replace the insides of each toilet at $250.00/each. Knowing what is involved, I thought this was alot of money. He installed a flapper on one toilet and the plastic black water regulator on another toilet. Also, installed a hand rail that I bought for my mother to get in and out of tub (this part of installation was $179.00. It all took about 40 minutes to get done. The "sales pitch" took longer at around 1 hour because he wanted to sell up and look at all plumbing things in my house including the water heater. | |I am tired of plumbers charging $100 for 5 minutes which is why I decided to try Angi's list. The manager with Harvey was so nice that called me back. He was fantastic but I don't want to pay such a huge price for replacing a flapper and plastic in toilets. I'll go back to fixing myself or calling a handyman.
