Everything went really well. They were very good. I was very happy with them. They were very thorough.

Initial response time from Harvey West Plumbing was FANTASTIC. We corresponded via email after I submitted a request for assistance on their website. I was quoted $149 to troubleshoot and figure out next steps. This was on a Friday night, and I was told that they would call me Monday to setup an appointment. I was contacted promptly Monday morning, and we setup a Tuesday appointment for 9am. At ~8:30, I was called and was left a message to tell me that Leo, the technician, was on the way for the 9am appointment. I returned their call at 8:50 when I was told it would be closer to 9:15. Final arrival was at ~9:40a which was not a big deal to me, but it was 40 minutes later than what they originally committed to. This is why I gave a B for punctuality. Leo arrived and we went to attic where unit is located. He was very professional and cordial, and donned his booties at the door before entering. We chatted about the issue while he removed from water heater front panel. He had me turn on the hot water to see if the unit turned on correctly, which it did. He then called the Noritz support line (come to find out you do not have to be a licensed plumber to get assistance from Noritz...) to explain what was going on. He was told by the Noritz Support team that the two codes that I was getting were potentially caused by scaling on one code and a potentially blocked flue for the other. I had just descaled the unit a couple weeks earlier and had not gotten the code associated with needing descale since, so the prognosis was to clean out the flues. This would require blowing out the flues, potentially requiring them to cut the PVC stacks going through the roof. Leo called the office to get a cost for providing this service, which he passed along to me, but could not do it then because he didn't have the needed tools and parts, so would have to return if I wanted them to do it, at the specified cost provided. Leo recommended that I try doing it myself. If this flue cleaning does not work, and I need to have them back, I am assuming that I will have to pay an additional fee to get them to diagnose once again, even though the original diagnosis was not what was required to fix the original problem. Total time for the call was 15-20 minutes. I agreed to the $149 fee that they charged, but I feel that the value for the service delivered (less than 30 minutes with most of the time calling Nortiz to tell us what the issue was, and included nothing to try and do what Noritz Support said to do to fix) was not in alignment. I absolutely do not expect to pay nothing, but $149 seemed a bit high in my humble opinion. It WAS better than another competitor, but again, seemed high for the 20 minutes of time spent on site. Even if I add the travel time that should have been no more than 30 minutes, I am still under an hour so this is $150/hour. It is what it is I guess. Maybe this is just inline with the going rates, as I have been lucky enough to not need a plumber for quite some time... All in all, they came and did a diagnosis for the price that they said that they would, so all is good. Could have been worse, but had I known the extent of the required effort before hand, I would not have agreed to that price. I scored them high on most items except for the punctuality and price. Everything else was a very good engagement.

The plumber arrive on time, performed the work quietly, and was extremely courteous. I will call him next year for my Water Heater maintenance.

Office staff were pleasant to deal with...HIGHLY recommend this company! Meet (3) different employees, ALL very personable, dedicated workers!!!

I called on Monday and scheduled an appointment to have a technician come out on Wednesday morning. I was told to expect a call the morning of to let me know the technician's name and that they would be on their way about 30 minutes after the call. Wednesday morning, I got a call from the home office telling me that the technician, John, would be arriving in the next 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. John and his assistant were right on time. They put on their booties before coming in the house and asked to see the pieces that needed to be repaired. The water line to the fridge needed to be taken out and replaced in one section to get the water line connected. There was an outside hose bib that I wanted a handle added to, but John noted that the part was nonstandard and would have to be replaced. He advised me to look at my local hardware store for a simple fix that would likely solve my problem, so I opted for that instead of the costly repair at this time. John got right to work, was very polite and easy going, and he did the work at a very quick pace. The cost of the repair was explained and outlined before any work was done. The whole repair was 238 less the Angie's List 100 discount, so all in all I feel like I got my money's worth. Thanks!

The work went well and plumbers were courteous. I had purchased a coupon saver for the work. I did not give it to them until the work was completed. The price did not change by giving them the coupon. It seems I was given a discount I am not eligible for when using the coupon. This makes the coupon that drew me to this company worthless. It is a gimmick as they will give you the same "amount off" whether you buy the coupon from Angie's list or call them cold from the phone book. I consider this deceptive and makes me question everything else.

Went great. Dustin was right on time and very professional. He did everything I needed him to do within 45 minutes and was very neat. He fixed my toilet and I am very happy.

Plumbers came to take out old sink which was cast iron. Took a lot of effort to get sink out. Replaced sink with one I had previously purchased and installed new garbage disposal and faucet.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and they were wonderful. They came out within a day after I purchased the deal and I needed some service that was additional to the Big Deal. I give them an excellent rating all the way through.

Had a good experience with Harvey West Plumbing. The service tech (Leo) showed up on time along with his associate. They were very professional, and did not waste time getting to the problem, which was a leaking water heater. They quickly diagnosed the problem, and gave me a quote for replacing the water heater with a new one. Leo was clear on what was involved, and explained the various options and costs. They estimated about a couple of hours to do the work, and wrapped up the installation and test within 2 hours. Overall, a good experience, and I will definitely call them again.

The servicemen arrived as scheduled and they were very courteous and professional. They installed about 3 parts in my toilet tank and said that all was good. It took them about an hour. I had a $39 Angie's List coupon that was supposed to cover the first $100 of service so was surprised when he told me the bill would be $207. I asked if was less the $100 Angie's List coupon and he said yes. All I could say was WHOA! That means the total without the coupon would have been $307. Exorbitant! After some discussion he managed to get the bill down to $134,70. Then 3 1/2 weeks later, the toilet started running water and wouldn't stop. I tried to cut the water off at the wall but I'm elderly with arthritis and couldn't get it to turn. I called Harvey West back and told them my problem and that I needed someone ASAP to fix the problem and they told me the couldn't get to me until the next morning. Fortunately I had an air conditioning repairman here so I asked him if he would be kind enough to help an ole lady and turn off the water for me. He said he would be happy to help me. So when he finished what he was doing he came in and shut the water off but since I already had the lid off the tank he took a look inside and found the problem. The chain had come loose from handle and wrapped around the stopper at the bottom. He fixed that then I noticed that the water was only filling about 1/3rd of the tank. He said they probably set it that way to save water but it was no savings because I would have to flush 2 or 3 ties to clear the bowl. He figured out how to reset the water level for me. Anyway kudos to that repairman from Sam's Heating and Air Conditioning in Plano. I called Harvey West Plumbing back to cancel the appointment for the next morning but since it was after 5:00p I had to leave a message. They called e the next morning and confirmed my cancellation.

Leo and the other worker (can't remember his name) where very professional and got right on the work. I called this morning at about 845 and was told they could be there in 10-15 mins and was right on time. They looked at the problem and quoted me a price of over $400 however I am a disabled veteran and told him that and told him all I could afford was $350 he then lowered the price to a flat rate of $350. They had to get the parts needed as they did not have them with him. Went to get the parts took about 30 minutes was back and did the repair within about 30 - 45 minutes. They cleaned up the mess even though I told them I would take care of it. I was very satisfied and glad I was given the discount. I just wish it was cheaper but understand. I would for sure use them again very happy with the work. Thanks again to Leo and his helper.

It went very well. They were prompt and straight to the point. Not a problem.

Everything was just good. I do not have any complaints. I would definitely recommend them.

Dustin was the technician. Arrived right on time after calling and confirming I would be at home. Very curtious, explained everything related to the use of an Angies Deal coupon and in fact applied it to a service contract, so no cost to me. Completed installing the new spout in minimal time and work area was left perfect. Very pleased with Dustin and the whole experience working with West. Would be first on my list for any future plumbing needs.

The work was done properly and timely. I feel the charge was excessive for the work performed. The fee was $416 and that is after an Angie's List discount of $100. So without Angie's List the fee would have been $522. Seems very expensive for the services rendered. I will do more research on plumbing companies before I hire Harvey West again.

Harvey West Plumbing did a great job. I was able to arrange for a service call quickly and they actually were able to arrive earlier in the day than expected. Dustin was very professional and listened to/addressed my concerns. They were aware that I was needing to leave to get to an appointment and they were able to diagnose and fix the problem accurately and efficiently.

The entire project progressed better than any I've had in the past. Prior to the installation, Harvey West sent a very competent team of plumbers to evaluate the current environment. They reviewed the two heaters (and previously installed hot water circulation system) and recommended products and an improved method of connecting them. In addition, I asked for a floodstop switch, which they installed to shutoff water in the event that water collected in the drainpans. For both the estimate and the actual installation, the installers arrived at or slightly before the agreed upon time. For the estimate, they provided a written estimate of the cost along with a thorough equipment list. When they arrived a few days later for the installation, they estimated they would be complete in three hours. The actual completion took only two and a half hours. The cost matched the estimate. The team was neat and efficient. They cleaned the work area prior to their departure and so far (approx 3 weeks), the new heaters have functioned flawlessly. Every aspect of this project went as expected or better. I had not used Harvey West before this job, but I will definitely use them again. Their web site was very helpful during my investigation of potential brands to install. Try as I might to fine some small detail to criticize, I can't. This was a big job for me, and I'm completely satisfied. I posted one of their magnetic cards in my kitchen, and I will use them again for any type of plumbing work.

Although John arrived a little late, everything went smoothly. The faucet knob that needed repair was frozen in place and would not turn, so I could run water into the tub, but I could not turn the knob to change the water to flow out of the shower. He was able to remove the part that was causing a problem, put some grease on it, and replace it. The knob now turns as it should and I once again can use the shower. After repairing the bathtub knob, John checked all the other pipes in my house and bathrooms to make sure I had no leaks and that everything was in good working order.

Same day service was great, and I was impressed enough to purchase their Service Plan for $99 which provides a 10% discount on all work. The service plan resulted in a cost savings of $40 today, and since we plan to replace at least 2 of our 4 commodes in the near future, we know we'll see additional savings.

I think there were some misunderstandings with the deal. it read that they would do an inspection and then gave you $100 towards the repair. That is not what happened. I had him look at the shut off valve which I thought it was bad. He said yes it was bad. I asked if he would mind looking at the other valves. just by visual he said they were all in the same situation and I should replace them which I agreed to. They gave me a total bill and then subtracted $100 off. They charged another $99 for inspecting the whole house and water heater which they did none of. I complained about that and they finally relented and refunded me that. I feel good that they did not give me a hard time about refunding that, but not good that they charged me that in the first place. The service they did was fine. They came pretty quickly.

We had a water spot on our carpet near the shower and toliet. We were concerned that the problem would only get worse. I contacted the company and within in a few hours they responded. They were able to come out the next day. Which was great! Dustin showed up prompt and was very professional from start to finish. He quickly diagnosed the problem and got right to work. He was very honest and knowledgable with all of the problems, and the price was reasonable. Thanks Dustin!!! We would reccommend this company and will use them again. It's so NICE to have a working shower and sink!!

We priced out repair vs. replace and decided to go ahead with upgrade. He was courteous and punctual.

The only thing is that their prices are a bit high. They are good and they are on time. They are clean and don't soil your house when they come in. They are very courteous. It met my expectations.
