Two men came out to replace one faucet in each room. The first day they couldn't replace my bathroom faucet since it was so old. So they came out the next day. They also told me that there was a deal for $99 where they will discount anything from here on out. They applied the $20 to that purchase, and then went through and checked everything plumbing wise in the house including gas lines and water lines, also, making sure there were no leaks. They were very clean and professional.

I dropped an amethyst stud earring down the bathroom sink. Thought a plumber might be able to get it out. I had not run water down the sink since dropping the earring, which I was drying off with a paper towel when I dropped it. He said he would have to remove the metal drain pipe underneath, it is corroded so he said it would cost me over $300 to remove and replace the piping. He called into his office, went outside to talk to his office then came back in and said he could do the job for about half of that, he did give me an exact price which I don't remember exactly but somewhere around $150 by using plastic instead of metal. I also refused that since the value of the earring that I dropped down the drain was about $35., I knew I would be better off just flushing it down the drain. To be fair, I must say the gentleman that came here was very professional as well as cordial, I just had the feeling he had been instructed to get as much as he could out of the job to be done -- sort of bait and switch-- not really his fault, but I was somewhat disappointed- I suppose this was the type job that could have turned into a nightmare for them, so better to avoid it. Just my thoughts not meaning to bad mouth. I thought $20 was crazy cheap for one hour of Plumbers labor, careful if it sounds too good to be true, it just might be.

They replaced my old water heater with a new one. They also installed a flood stop.

No issue just when I went to get pricing from this vendor his numbers were way higher than competitors.

They called to let me know a plumber was on the way. He arrived in the time frame I had been given. He wore shoe covers into my house and had a very professional appearance. He was very pleasant and seemed very knowledgeable. He was able to fix a problem another plumber had been unable to diagnose and repair. A part had to be ordered (cartridge) and I was called the next day to inform me that the part was in. They were able to set up an appointment for the next day so all of the work was completed within 2 days. I will definitely use this company again.

The repairman showed on time and explained the scope of work to be completed. During the price quote they upsell you to a one year service agreement that is to provide discounts. I feel the pricing for the repair may have been high due to being a Saturday but not knowing the going rate and the water being off the only option was to pay or find a hotel. After the work was completed the repairman inspected the two water tanks feeling we may need to replace both I asked for a rough estimate I was told $1400 each at that point I felt I may have been taken advantage of being I hade one replaced at a rental for under $1000 on a rental property in another state. Going forward I will request a rough idea of a cost prior to having the plumber show up..

I purchase the $20 for $100 of services. I gave a complete description of the work needing to be done and they scheduled me for a few days out. The workman showed up 45 minutes into the hour window and did not seem briefed on what we hired him to do. Once we reviewed our situation, he proceeds to fill out paperwork for 5-10 minutes then tells us it will be $486!!!!!!! That's more than twice the amount of the unit we've hired him to install!! If you are unfamiliar with instant-hots, we're talking about a unit the size of a shoebox, one that is replacing an old unit so all of the mounts, hoses etc are there. When we asked him to explain the high cost, he said that's the amount his forms gave him, then muttered something about new hoses and insurance. I was hoping for something closer to an itemized estimate. And it turns out that that's exactly what I should have received because he charge us $40 for coming out!! So I gave him the "deal" I bought on Angie's list and asked him to leave. $20 for an estimate I should've been given on the phone. BE SURE AND GET AN ESTIMATE FROM THIS COMPANY TO AVOID PAYING $40 FOR A NASTY SURPRISE.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was very good. They came out the same day I purchased the deal. They were very professional.

They quoted me about $200 to replace toilet parts that I could buy for $7 at Lowes, I did the work myself and was very disappointed in their professionalism and would not use them again. It was the second time I called them out and had gotten outrageous quotes for work.

It was okay. Their price is a little high but they're very prompt.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out fine. I paid them extra other than the big deal purchase. They were courteous and prompt.

Dustin was extremely professional and polite. I thought their charges were reasonable. Their service charge was $39 when most other companies I had contacted were $79 or so and they couldn't get our for several days. Dustin was out the same day I called. I had purchased a deal for $100 worth of services for $20. Very happy with all aspects of this service call. Thanks Dustin!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good and I had no complaints. He was good and timely. He did everything he said he would. It was as expected.

The technician called ahead of the appointment to make sure I was home and to introduce himself. Once he arrived, we looked at the water heater and notified me what in addition to it should be replaced. He then explained about the city's requirement for a permit, and then generated an itemized estimate on his tablet, and also emailed to me. I accepted, and he immediately began work. Within an hour, it was completed and in addition to the installation, he also did a walk-through to make sure all the fixtures were working.

It was not very satisfactory. I think it had to do with the allotment of time that would be adequate to cover what need to be done and the estimate that they gave me was nowhere close and nothing was done. When I said I wasn't going to do anything, he said I have a $100 worth of certificate so he put me down to a one year planning plan. I don't know if they charge for coming out and doing out the estimate. He came out on the assumption that he was going to do some work because that is what the certificate is for but it didn't happened.

They were professional and prompt and went above and beyond to make sure my issue was taken care of.

Dustin arrived on time, was courteous. He worked within my schedule, and helped clean up afterward. Overall, I was impressed with his professionalism and courtesy. I would certainly recommend Harvey West Plumbing.

They said they covered Dallas/Fort Worth area and we are right in between. However, they said they could not service our area after I bought the deal.

The job went very well, but ended up costing much more than I had been told it would cost. I will use them again, but be more careful to make sure things are not added that I do not expect. i.e., they kept finding things they said needed to be changed, that were not in the original estimate. They were good to work with, but I should have had someone here to that knows more about plumbing (city codes etc.) than I do. I feel they were just doing their job. They were very neat, and cleaned the area where they had worked. The city inspector gave the work a green tag, so I feel they did a good job. I have told friends and neighbors I was pleased with the work they did.

I was going out of town and called early on Monday morning to leave a message. They answered the phone! I was very sorry to call so early. They had a guy out to my house 3 hours later. Installed the new disposal, gave me a fair price, and inspected my house for other issues. They tightened a few connections throughout the house. They were awesome!

They answered their phone on a Sunday and were very pleasant and professional. They showed up the next day on time. They did a good job installing and the City passed the inspection. Made a follow up phone call to make sure the warranty paperwork was completed so we would have our 8 year warranty. The only thing the installer didn't do was lay down drop cloths to ensure no debris, water, dirt was tracked through the house. Yes, I would use them again.

Harvey West himself spent about 15 minutes on the phone with us discussing options for meeting the buyer's requirements for the water heater when we were selling our home, before we had committed to having the work done by them. We were able to meet the buyer's request on time with little fuss and much less expense than originally expected. Estimates were same or better than competitors' for the same work, and they gave us several coupons for future work once the job was finished.

The crew came out to do a water heater maintenance that I had not performed in a long time. They did a good job of alerting me to issues and also cleaned up after an incident where one of their technicians was hit by unexpected sediment. Instead of trying to sell me a new water heater, they were courteous to fix and keep the existing water heater in a good condition.

This company was great in all areas except price. I needed a flapper and flush valve replaced on a running toilet. I was quoted $276 by the plumber that came out, which is outrageous considering the parts cost less than $20 at Home Depot and it takes less than 30 minutes to do the work. I had the work done because I didn't have the time to do it myself. The plumber was professional, courteous and fixed the problem. A coupon through Angie's list saved me $60, but due to prices I probably would not use this company again.

it went great, the gentleman that was sent was very knowledgeable and very helpful with all my questions. I even called the other day with a question and they answered over the phone.
