"Thank you Mr. (member name removed) for your kind remarks. It was truly our pleasure to install exactly what you wanted. I'm sure your new system will keep you comfortable for many years to come, and also keep those utility costs as low as possible. See you in the fall for your heating maintenance check up."
I Scheduled the service on line then a couple of days later I received a call saying that they had over booked the days that I wanted. I then agreed to 8/6/14. I also told them that I wanted it serviced and if anything was wrong that I wanted it fixed. I then get an email from them stating that I need to get another ac co. to service my ac. Why? I thought this was an ac company. I thought they fixed ac units for a business. I guess not
"Thank you for providing feedback for your recent interaction with us. Unfortunately, we were unable to meet your needs in a timely manner. It is our utmost goal to service every client to our best ability. It appears that there was a misunderstanding about what was purchased from Angies List. The special that we were offering was for a Total Comfort Tune Up. It is a thorough "tune up" of your current system, not an emergency service call for a breakdown or problem. With that being said, the special deal we offer is a deeply discounted tune up and it does not take priority over a customer who has no cooling at all. We apologize for this misunderstanding and if you have any trouble getting a refund for your purchase, please let us know."
Scheduled the service to be done the following Wednesday. Took off of work, no one came. Played phone tag with them for a while, a couple weeks later we realized that they called to reschedule but called the wrong number. We ensured the right number was on file.
Rescheduled the service for another Wednesday (Wednesdays are the only days I can be home). The company called the day before to reschedule because their reps were busy.
Rescheduled again, but when their rep came out it was drizzling so he suggested rescheduling.
Rescheduled every week pretty much for the month of July. One time I had to reschedule, the other 3 or 4 times they had to reschedule. Final reschedule was for the first Wednesday of August. Received a call and text that the AC rep was going to be in my neighborhood on another day and they asked me to reschedule. Once again, by this time they knew Wednesday's were my only day I could take off. I never responded to either call or text.
Today, I finally spoke with them and thought it was best to get a refund. They agreed and said that if my AC was working fine in August that I probably didn't need it serviced. They also said that it was best if I received a refund because by August they are so busy with other calls that they don't have time to do regular service calls. She said they have time to do service calls in April. (Good to know. Probably not a great idea to market AC service specials on Angie's List in June if you have no time to conduct them)
They told me that they cannot handle my refund because Angie's List has not paid them. They told me to call Angie's List and to let them know if I have any problems.
I just got off the phone with Angie's List. They said they cannot process the refund because it was purchased over 30 days ago. So even though the provider as not done the service and does not have time for it, Angie's list has a 30 days window for refunds. The lady at Angie's List did tell me she was going to give my file to a supervisor to handle, so I am assuming that person might be able to autorize a refund??? If not I am assuming Aire Serve won't give one since they were never paid.
Either way, I am sure they are a great company if you live closer to their main office, but if you are in Killeen, Cove, or Harker Heights, go with another HVAC company. Ellis Air and Deane Electric are good choices.
Also I would recommend if you purchase a deal through Angie's List, make sure that you cancel and get your refund within 30 days if need be.
"Thank you for providing feedback. It appears as though we really let you down. It is our utmost goal to service every client to our best ability, but sometimes we do fail, and humbly ask for your forgiveness. The special that we were offering was for a Total Comfort Tune Up. It is a thorough "tune up" of your current system, not an emergency service call for a breakdown or problem. The special deal you purchased was a deeply discounted tune up and it does not take priority over a customer who has no cooling at all. As for the time we did get a technician to your home at the scheduled time, it was raining. Our technicians are very aware of the dangers of removing cabinet part and exposing your controls to rain and the damage that could occur from doing so and that is why he wanted to reschedule when it wasn't raining. Unfortunately with the limited availability with your schedule, it would be very difficult to accommodate your request during the hottest months of the year. We apologize once again for not being able to meet your needs, and yes we are willing to offer a 100% refund if Angie's List does not."
"Thanks for the opportunity to serve you and for your feedback. We look forward to building a long term relationship with you and being your preferred choice when it comes to keeping you comfortable."
"I want to extend our sincerest apology to you. We had to stop service to Salado this year due to the distance from our local office."
Where supposed to come the week before from 1-3. My sister stayed home all day to be sure she did not stay gone too long and not be there when they arrived. They called about 1, let the phone ring twice and hung up. She called them back. They had been delayed on a morning job and would not be able to make it. We re-scheduled. They were prompt and courteous. They examined the AC and Furnace. We were having a problem cooling the upstairs. They checked out the duct system and told us we had very little insulation in the attic (a fact). They did this check free. We appreciated that. They gave us an estimate for 7" of blown insulation in 1000' of attic....except the attic is just about 700' (20X35). They did not clean debris away from venting on the top of the furnace. The house had been empty about 2 years and there were rat droppings there. It seemed to be OK that the pipe going up from the 4" from the furnace to the 6" coming down from the ceiling was just duct taped from the one to the other...and that the plate the pipe goes through that seals the hole in the ceiling was hanging there at an angle on the pipe rather than being on the ceiling. I had hoped they would level the AC unit, but they said it was not leaning too badly. My sister and I are senior citizens, but we think we can level it ourselves, so it is no big deal.
Everyone we spoke to or saw was very polite courteous.

On September 23, AireServe returned to fix a minor install error for our filter system- no questions asked and no additional charge. Keith called my husband on Saturday and Sunday to make sure we were okay to wait until Monday.
It is this type of professionalism that will keep us as customers. Our new system is fantastic and Brad Byrd did a great job customizing our purchase. The whole team deserves recognition for a job well done!
"Thank you for choosing Aire Serv for your home comfort needs. We know you have a choice when it comes to choosing who you have in your home.
