I called regarding a new system for my home, they were prompt and very professional. They beat out their competitors pricing and really made me feel comfortable with my purchase, They weren't pushy and seemed very knowledge. I would recommend this company to others!

The service TCS provided was excellent. I had called another company who when they came out told me I needed a new system. My husband and I were not expecting to replace the entire unit and decided to get a second opinion. Chad was awesome, he had our system looked at and let us know he could fix it without replacing the entire unit. The work was performed very quickly and he was able to stay within our very strict budget. We are very grateful to TCS, it has been almost a year now and our system is still going strong. Thank you TCS!

This proivider installed our systems, so we have continued to use them. But it has become evident that they are poorly managed and miss appointment after appointment. Made appointment for 5/5/2016. Called to confirm same day. No show. Called to see why they stood us up AGAIN. They said they would come in the morning. This is a bad pattern for them. They never keep appointments & it wastes our time. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional. Had problems starting a week after they came. One system kept shutting off 3-4 times and then on a weekend. Called and talked to Kenny who said they would come the following week. Nothing. Called & made appointment for the following Thursday. Again, no show, no phone calls, nothing. I called Chad, the owner/partner 4 times that day to see if they were coming or not. No one ever called back. We will be using another provider from now on, who is reliable. TCS A/C & Hear are totally unprofessional, rude and poorly managed.

Let me begin by saying that we are owner sub-contracting our own new custom home with the help of a very reputable and competent builder. We signed a contract for TCS to install rough and finished heating and air conditioning in a new custom home March 12, 2013, based on the owner's promise that the rough install would be complete in 7 days. There was another bid for exactly the same amount by a reputable company in Houston that the builder recommended, who couldn't start for 2-3 weeks, but we chose to go with this company based on TCS owner's or partner (Chad) statement that they could do it sooner. My husband agreed verbally with Chad that if the install was not done in a week, they would deduct $1,000 from the bill. Equipment was delivered to our custom new home in the garage almost immediately so we thought the install would go as planned. After a week went by and nothing had been done, we called them. They said the wrong equipment had been ordered/delivered and it would now be a couple of weeks before the correct models would be available. I sent an email reminding them of the verbal agreement regarding the $1,000 deduction due to the delay. New equipment was finally delivered a few weeks later. This is now April. No one came to install any of it. A meeting was scheduled to go through the house with our builder to discuss layouts and locations which would include Chad, Justin (head guy), our builder, myself & my husband. Everyone showed up except Chad who now claimed he had a meeting with a lawyer and couldn't make our meeting, although he had confirmed it previously. We completed the walk-through & some workers showed up the next few days & then stopped, During the walk-through, Justin had stated that if we 'foamed the roof rafters' we would get way better efficiency with the AC units. So we got bids on installing the foam. Nothing was ever said by TCS that foaming the roof would delay the installation of the equipment. But when we asked why no one was showing up to install, they now said that they usually do their installs AFTER the roof is foamed. Well, we got part of the structure foamed in April & the roof foamed in May, but the AC-Heat installation was dragged out time & time again. Now it's early June. I would estimate only 40% at best had been completed on the rough install & we received a bill for the completed rough installation. Our builder called TCS and whatever he said, workers actually showed up for a couple of days, but again did not finish. My husband also called Chad and said we needed to get this finished so we can hang the drywall. We received an email from Chad saying someone would finish the first of the week (6-10 or 6-11-13). When no one had showed up mid-day on 6-11-13, I sent an email asking when they REALLY were coming. I received an email back from Chad saying they would be here on Wednesday, 6-12-13, and Shawn (head-guy now I guess) would have the custom ceiling vents that we & the builder told them we needed last March. When I went out to the house today, I asked to see the custom ceiling vents. He said he didn't have them & called the warehouse. He then said it would be another 2 or 3 weeks before they would have them because they were custom, etc. We cannot wait another 2 or 3 weeks before installing the dry wall. This is the most unprofessional, poorest run company we have ever dealt with. They promise and never deliver.

The quote was written on the 12th of March, and it spells out that a ten-year warranty on parts and labor was included, in writing. This was part of what we were paying for. We had company in that week and asked to have the installation done the following week. The salesman suggested the 19th. At no time did the salesman, Justin, tell us there was any problem with waiting a week. If he had, we simply would have scheduled the work earlier. It would have been a bit inconvenient, but not a big problem. The TCS crew came to our house on March 19th and installed the equipment. On the installation form that day, Justin wrote: Ten year parts and labor warranty. He also wrote down the Website address for Trane and told us to go there to register the unit for the warranties. On the website, we were unable to register the warranty. We subsequently found out that the promotion had expired on the 15th. We called our TCS salesman, Justin, then the owner, Chad, and we've spent the past month trying to get what we were promised. At every juncture, we've been assured that they are in the process of getting the warranty and will be out to deliver it to us in a day, two days, or three days. Last week, Chad said he'd drive out and deliver it to us on Tuesday. He never came. Last Friday, he said he was emailing it. Then he claimed his Internet connection was down, but he'd have it to us by Monday (yesterday). So far, no warranty. Just excuses. In addition, the workmanship was sloppy. We had a whole house filtration system installed at the same time. The filter is in a box and it has to be periodically changed. It appears that during the installation someone mistakenly glued the box shut. We can't change the filter. Obviously, we're wondering what else they were sloppy with during the installation. We are, to put it mildly, very disappointed. We're currently talking to an attorney and we've written complaints to the Texas attorney general and the state's licensing board. In our opinions, this is false advertising. We were promised a warranty not only verbally but in writing that they have not delivered. I would, obviously, not recommend this company.
Description of Work: We purchased a new air conditioner through TCS. We were told that the unit would have a ten year warranty on labor and parts that was part of a special promotion through Trane, the manufacturer.

[member name removed], We would also like to apologize for the time it took to get you your Extended Labor Warranty. At no time did we not want to take care of our customer or at not time did we intend to not do what we said we would do, in writing or verbally. We stand behind what we say. We purchased the Extended Labor Warranty at our cost, but unfortunately during the time all of this was going on, Trane was in talks with another company to offer their Extended Warranties to all of their Customers. Unfortunately, it was not done in a timely manner. Again, we apologize for the time it took as stated to you and [member name removed] by the Distributor. As soon as Trane made their decision, we immediately purchased the Extended Labor Warranty. When we came back out and delivered the filters to you for the filtration system, the "glued shut box" was opened by simply opening the door. There was no struggle to it which was noted by [member name removed]. Should there ever be any questions or issues, please do not hesitate to call. Respectfully, TCS A/C & Heating, Inc.

He called to say he was running late and gave us a new time that he was coming out. When he got here, he went over everything and explained different ideas on how to do our project. He was not rushed with us and spent extra time with us. This is not an easy project so he said he had to do some research and would be back with us for an estimate. I have used him in the past and liked the service he had done in the past.
Description of Work: So far, the work has not been done. We are waiting on an estimate. The gentlemen has to do some research on what we want done. He was very knowledgeable on what he had to do and offered other ways to do our project.

The technicians arrived on time, worked quickly, cleaned up when through, and hauled off all of their trash. The only problem that I had was with the owner. I was promised a 10 yr warranty on the compressor and air handler, although the manufacturer’s web site indicated these units only had a 5 year warranty. The owner assured me that he would provide a manufacturer’s 10 yr warranty. It took a month and about 5-6 calls to finally get the warranty. Every time that I called I was told they would get it done. I finally did receive the warranty, in less than a wek after my last call. It was an extension of the original 5 yr warranty that the vendor paid for. I do not believe that I would have gotten this warranty unless I had bird dogged the owner. Other than that, they did a good job. The warranty thing left a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t know if I would use them to replace another A/C unit. I will have to use them for warranty work.
Description of Work: This vendor replaced the complete heating and A/C unit. I have a 2 story all electric home. They replace the upstairs unit. This included the compressor located outside as well as the evaporator, air handler, and heater, all located in the attic.

I apologize for any confusion on the warranty of the equipment due to changes in the manufacturer's warranty. We purchased an extended warranty to ensure that the member received the 10 year warranty on the equipment. It stated when we purchased it, that it could take up to 45 days to receive. Again I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused.

We contacted several companies to get bids for our new a/c and heating units. T.C.S. was not the lowest bid we received. When Kenny came out to estimate our job he was on time, very professional, and very knowledgeable about his trade. He answered every question my wife and I had and even suggested solutions to possible future problems. Our project required several return trips, as this was a new construction job. Every time their crew returned it was the same men as before. They were always on the job when they promised and seemed happy to be there. We were very impressed when the ran the ducts. They ran each duct individual and even strapped each one to the underside of the roof instead of just laying them on the attic floor. The job was completed in a very timely manner and the balance due upon completion was just as the bid described. We have had two or three small issues since the job was complete and each time we called they came right away and corrected the problem.
Description of Work: T.C.S. installed new ac and heating units in our new construction home. They gave us a bid for the total job and furnished all equipment needed to complete the job.
