We have been in business since December, 1998 and have successfully completed over 950 projects to our customers' satisfaction. We can do it all ... just give us a call. I was very happy with my room addition when it was completed. Bob was very accommodating and easy to work with. His priority was to please me and give me quality workmanship and he did just that. He kept material costs as low as possible and that was very much appreciated. I am very pleased with his work and will certainly use him again and recommend him to everyone.

First remodel and it was a good learning experience. This kitchen remodel included taking the kitchen down to the studs, reworking the floor plan to add a walk-in pantry, and getting all new cabinets and appliances. The end result is amazing. Biggest learning point for me: working with subcontractors. I hired Bob Kitchell for this project because of his reputation and work ethic. However, with the number of projects ongoing, Bob assigned our project to a subcontractor and his crew. While the job was done well, my initial planning conversations regarding my project and research I did on local contractors did not include the new project subcontractor. Something to think about for future projects!

'Bob' Kitchell has become my go to guy in Wichita Falls when I have a new project. Since I can't be there in person, I need to know that I can trust whoever I call. A couple year's ago Bob worked on a project for me after I had extensive water damage. I had a pretty good experience last time, so when I needed a new shower door installed in the master bathroom, I texted Bob again. He text right back, had his guy go out to the house, sent me a quote, and got the project done in just a couple texts and a phone call. I know I can trust Bob's work and his communication, both very important to me when I can't be there in person. Once again, an A rating from me. Thanks Bob.

I can't tell you how much my family loves Bob, not only for his work but for his character. My kids get so excited when they see "bob the builder" pull up. He knows what he is doing and his team's work is A+++ but he also CARES about your house. He even came over on a Saturday morning one time to look at a leak we had overnight. His team of guys work fast and diligently with attention to detail. We plan on hiring him for all of our future house needs! Highly recommend.

The company was on time, clean, polite. The crew worked very well together and worked very hard. Our home was older and we had numerous areas needing drywall repair in addition to remove/replace drywall in garage. A crew of two whom were very detailed oriented and worked very hard! As with any job we hit some obstacles related to the old house but they were patient and quick to adjust. They were good about leaving the job site clean each day. Very happy with the end result and would definitely hire them again.

We had one difficult time trying to find someone who wanted to tackle a water leak. After almost 1 month of looking, Bob came to the rescue. He came to the house and immediately started a plan of action. After only 2 days, work started to get done. This job started as putting down wood floors that had been ruined due a water leak. When he started demo, several other leaks were found. His whole crew was extremely professional. They found and fixed all of our active leaks...we did not see them initially. We have a handicapped person in the house and she was very comfortable with having them in the home with her. I cannot express enough how wonderful everyone was. This was stressful enough but Bob and all of his crews were absolutely amazing. All of the work was completed and looks outstanding! If anyone is looking for an exceptional contractor who is honest, trustworthy and meticulous, look no further! Thank You!

Bob did an amazing job! We knew going in there were likely to be structural issues since the home had been pretty neglected in recent years. We completely gutted both baths and started from the flooring up to remodel and fix all the problems with floors, walls, and septic and electrical systems. His specialty guys did an amazing job that saved me time and money. When my kids saw the end results, their responses were "impressive!" Bob and I are working on a remodel of the kitchen to start, with luck, after the holidays. I had to wait almost 9 months for him to complete his other projects before we were able to start mine, but the wait was worth it. The quality of the work was the best. We had a collaborative relationship that was unusual, I think. So easy to work with. Goes out of his way to treat the property and customer with respect.

It is my pleasure to write this recommendation on behalf of Robert Kitchell, Kitchell Construction. I contacted Bob for a remodeling bid of a bathroom in my home. The job consisted of a complete demo, which included moving plumbing, electrical wiring, painting and tile work. Bob let me know immediately that he had a prior commitment which involved a complete remodel of a home that was over 100 years old, and it would be several months before he could start my project. No matter, I knew from our first meeting that he was the man for the job. Turns out, it was a wait that was certainly worth it. The quality of the work performed was top notch. Bob’s team was knowledgeable, skilled and competent. They had a great attention to detail, strong organization skills, and a commitment to follow through. Additionally, they were professional, reliable, and courteous, and I felt comfortable with allowing them access inside my home. In closing, I am extremely pleased with the final product. In a world where mediocre workmanship and poor service are unfortunately all too common, Bob and his team are indeed a rare find. I had an excellent experience with Kitchell Construction Company! This was a small job to finish work done by another contractor who did not have the capability to paint what they had built. Not only was R. C. (Bob) Kitchell and his team willing to do the work, they also finished built trim around the garage door that the previous contractor did not. His woodworking expert (Dallas) trimmed in my Garage Door openings with Hardie Board, which is waterproof. The 2 x 6 framing that the previous contractor had installed was not flush with the brick and was already becoming water damaged. Dallas cut the Hardie Board on a taper to custom fit the Garage Door openings to the surrounding brick. They also caulked, filled nail holes, sanded and applied primer to all of the exposed wood. Afterwards, Bob measured my home so that he can prepare a price quote for a full paint job on the exterior to be performed next Fall. In addition to quality work, Bob was very professional. In the past, I have encountered painters who give a verbal offer and then ask to be paid in cash. This practice is very shady! Bob e-mailed me an printed contract with the Scope of Work, Price, and Terms all clearly defined. I signed the contract, scanned it, and e-mailed it back to him. Once he had received the signed contract and half-payment down, I received a copy with his signature in my e-mail. Work began promptly on a Saturday morning and was finished the following day on a Sunday afternoon. I was thrilled to have this work completed while I was at home to monitor the progress. I would definitely hire Kitchell Construction Company to work again in the future and I highly recommend them to others in the North Texas area.

I recently hired Bob to do some work on my rental property in WF. Since I don't live in WF, I was looking for someone I could trust to do the work without my physical presence to check on the progress and quality. It's not easy trusting someone you never met, and only spoke with on the phone. Since I didn't know any contractor's in WF I used Angie's List to help me find someone. It was my first time picking on contractor with no other info than an Angie's List rating, but I couldn't see an alternative. I picked Kitchell because of the high rating, and after talking to Bob on the phone, I decided to give it a shot. I am very happy with that decision. Bob was great. He organized all the work I needed, worked with me on the payment from the Insurance company, and kept me updated with text messages and pictures on the progress very often. I was also pretty time limited as I had new tenants moving in within about 3-4 weeks. So Bob got everything organized and quoted within just a few days. I sent the first deposit, and if I remember right I think work started the same day. I did have a chance to fly in near the end and meet Bob in person and see the nearly completed work myself. I was kind of limited on budget, so there were a few repairs (kitchen countertop and fence) that I did not end up giving to Bob to complete. Nonetheless he went through the options with me for those repairs for different budgets, so I'll be giving Bob a call in the future when I do have the budget for it. Bottom line, I highly recommend Kitchell. If you are in the same boat as I was, and looking for someone you can put your trust in, then give Bob a call.

The work is beautiful. I now have beautiful hardwood floors and updated wall colors. They also fixed a problem with the front threshold and the vanity lighting that we hadn't noticed. They also repaired the side privacy fence that had fallen. The prices were reasonable all repairs were discussed beforehand. Intend to use them in the future for kitchen and dining room remodel.
