I noticed the hot water heater leaking as I prepared to leave the house about noon. I checked Angie's List for a plumber close to us that had an A rating and as a result called Alliance. They came out within half an hour. They looked at the heater and determined it should be replaced. We later found out they had installed it 21 years ago. They went into the attic to inspect the lines, etc. Determined that due to upgraded building codes we would need to enlarge a hole in roof. Called roofers to see when they could come. They would have changed heater immediately but roofer was not available until next day. Told us how much the heater would be and made appointment for next day at noon or later. They started the job the next day about 2:30 or 3 and finished around 6. Very businesslike, efficient, clean. Covered their shoes when walking on carpet. Cleaned up very well.

I called Mr Caudel to perform the services above mentioned. He was extremely cordial over the phone, he came to the site promptly gave me an estimate that was reasonable and performed the services professionally, accommodating my schedule and to my entire satisfaction. Due to the nature of the job that included the testing of the line and a city inspection he had to coordinate the inspection and come to the site several times. It was a pleasure meeting him and his crew every time. His truck is a sight to be seen it is very impressive, organized, clean and looks very well stocked. When I joined Angie's list was for the purpose of finding the right and nice people for the job and he is someone that I have no doubt will be calling again in case I need plumbing services and I will be happy to recommend to my neighbor's and friends. The job was performed very professionally and the human interaction was a delight.

We live remotely to Houston and needed to find a plumber to do the job for us with no face to face meeting. Kelly did a fantastic job liaising with our tenants and the owner of the condo under ours to find the source of the leak. They found the source and built us an access for ease of future investigations.

Kelly was on time and completed the job over 3 days as promised. His crew dug the trench (and hit our cable and yard drain in the process), but repaired both the same day. Kelly was out to install the gas line the next day, and covered the trench (after finding another cut in our yard drain line and fixing it on his own) the day after. Clean job from start to finish.

Kelly gave me a bid ahead of time. After check the local retail stores I found his price to be competitive. This is the 2nd time he has done work for me and once again he worked around my work schedule. His men were right on time and worked steadily and carefully. When I had questions about the installation they answered quickly and in detail. It took 3 hours to get everything done. My laundry room is exterior to my home. Kelly was concerned that they had to enlarge the roof hole for the double wall exhaust. They carefully sealed the hole. The next morning, Kelly was back with a roofer friend to have him check it and they applied additional sealant just to be sure I would not have any leaks. When the installation was finished, the floor of the laundry room was carefully swept and the job site cleaned. This is the 2nd time I have used this firm and I will use him again as I proceed with fixing up my home. I highly recommend this firm.

Both toilets in my 1978 condo started giving problems at the same time. I had been trying to ignore the problems, but finally could not. Further, a family member was in ICU at St Lukes Hospital and I was there every day. So the problem was how to get to the hospital and get the toilets replaced at the same time. I called several plumbers from Angie's List. There was always some reason why they just could not do anything to help me. When I called Alliance not only was his price very reasonable, he was more than willing to do the replacement the next day at a time when I could be at my condo and still make it to the hospital. He was extremely professional and helpful. He was there at the agreed time, went straight to work and did a terrific job with the installation. He and his helper worked steadily but in a friendly manner. They very carefully cleaned up afterword and took care that my home was respected. I absolutely will hire this company again and recommend him.

Alliance plumbing people arrived on time, put covering over their dirty shoes, accessed the second story walk-in attic where the air conditioner was located, had to crawl over the ducting (tight squeeze) to reach the location where the condensation line emptied into the drain line, threaded the snake down into the line to reach the blockage, reamed out the blockage material, flushed the drain with water to confirm it was clear, extracted themselves, settled the billing, and left.
