.They came in and removed the two old roof's that were on my house and installed a new one in two day's. They did an excellent job and I would recommend them to any one that needs a new roof. The estimator and the crew  were very professional when doing their job's.

The salesman assured me he would be there for install. They came out early in the morning to do work and the salesman was out of town. They're clean up job wasn't very good, left shingles in gutters. Did not install downspout. There is also a spot on roof that is questionable and they still have yet to come out and look at it.

In this day of poor service being the "norm".... It is a joy to have the opportunity to commend Cen-Tex Roofing Systems for the outstanding job they did installing a new roof on our 7,000+ s.f. home. We experienced true professionalism in every phase of the project. Randy Ellison, the company's sales representative, kept his appointment times with us, explained the problems and answered all of our questions, gave us a fair bid for the work, coordinated everything with our insurance company, and he personally oversaw the work that was done. As for the crew that did the project, they were outstanding! They worked from sun-up to sun-down and got the job done in just 2 days when we expected it to take 4 or more days. Not only was the job supervisor very professional and attentive to our concerns (like keeping our TV satellite and internet working), his crew was very polite and respectful to us and our property and, most importantly, they did an outstanding job of cleaning up everything before they left.

We could not be more pleased with the job Cen-Tex Roofing did for us. and we highly recommend this company!

I was pretty sure I needed a new roof so I called Cen-Tex for a an estimate. Fred Taylor came out and gave it a look. He felt that I had some hail damage and might could get insurance to pay for some of it. He was there when the appraiser came and helped lobby on my behalf. Once I got everything scheduled with them, they came and went in one day and the only sign that they were there was the new roof. The work was top notch and clean-up was great. I highly recommend Cen-Tex and especially Fred.

I got several bids from roofing companies in Waco...Cen-Tex came in with the lowest price...recommended an upgrade in the shingles and still came in at less.  The job was done on the day they said, I found a needed correction and the repair was done in a few days without charge.

A tree fell on my shed and put a hole in the roof.  I heard that rain was coming in a couple of days so I called Cen-Tex Roofing after finding them on Angie's list on April 17th.  They came out within the hour and gave me a quote.  I accepted and another man came out and started working on it that very day!  He didn't finish, but he told me he would be back tomorrow.  Well.... that night, the West, TX explosion happened.  So of course, everything was crazy and I forgot all about that roof, to tell you the truth.  I had to go somewhere, I can't remember.... but when I came home... There he was.. finishing the work on my shed!  I waited a little while and came out to check and he was gone!  So... I was amazed that they remembered that I existed.... Then, the very first company I hear them talking about on the News is Cen-Tex Roofing.... going into West when the people couldn't even go... and covering the windows and holes so they could protect whatever was left!   I will certainly be using Cen-Tex Roofing again and again!  :)

I spend 1200 dollars.  They were kind and courteous. They took care of me and they did a good job.  I had a tin roof and it had blown off. I would use them again in the future.

They did an excellent job.  The quote was right on the money.  When everything was said and done, and I gave them the okay to do the job, they showed up at sun up. About an hour after sunset they had completely stripped my roof and replaced it.  They brought in a whole crew.  The cleanup was fantastic.  They brought in big magnets to make sure they didn’t leave any nails. I was very pleased with them.

Bid process was punctual and easy. Most of the problems encountered were communications between sales-bid process, owner, and sub-contractor. Roof removal and installation proceeded without incident. The roofing crew was fast, efficient and courteous. Roof was torn off and installed in one day. Some decking was replaced due to water damage and a water deviter was constructed to shed water from around the chimmey chase where the water damage occured. All the work was 1st rate. Clean-up around house for nails and old shingles was very good. Only install issue was a sheet of plywood placed over my outside heatpump that restricted fan flow. Plywood was placed with good intentions to not let debris from roof get inside the heat pump unit. I propped up the plywood with a brick or two to allow air to flow and still keep debris out of unit.
Upon final inspection of roof with sales person, it was detected that a number of shingles had some pitting and feathered edges. My opinion was some of the shingles were process defective, no issues with the install except one, to be discussed later. This discovery set off a firestorme of miscommunications between the company, GAF shingle manufacturer, salesman, and roofers. Over all < 1% of shingles were involved.  After several days of this process all suspect and several more inspections, the suspect shingles were replaced. A few additional were replaced due to too much traffic in one area of the roof, this was primary due to heat and shingles are not made to trafficed heavy. This was also fixed. The solar attic fan was installed into the roof and the sales person personally went into the attic and hooked up the control box for the remote. This was beyound the call of duty. This was a near 'Gumby' experience.
Even during the few bumps in the road all parties maintained calm professional posture and all has ended well with a positive outcome. The quality of work was very good. Command and control-commication could have been better. I would use this company again in the future should the need arise.
