Vacuum Cleaners
Initially, in January 2018, when i called for repair or replacement, they came right out, sold me a new unit & installed that same day...very nice man & his son. The new unit has a different filtration system than the old, so that there are 2 exhaust pipes coming out of the unit...however, when the unit is in operation, the emanating smell from the debris that the unit is sucking up smells up the garage...very unpleasant! I called 3 times to ask him to come out & look at the unit, talked to him twice, said he would call back, he didn't. I finally reached him again, reiterated the problem, he said he would come out....He never called me back or showed up. Therefore, I must issue the unfavorable rating based on poor customer follow-up of a problem. I am very disappointed because he seemed so nice when he came out in January.

He did not check immediately since he was busy with another handyman. I went to turn on the vac and there still wasn't any suction and the upstairs canister was full of dirt as well as the "sanitary wipes" they used to supposedly sanitize the entire system, Basically, the main central canister was left untouched?! They didn't do a thing except try to sell him a

Instead of the correct filter being put in to repair it, they put a sponge filter on it, and I do not like that. They also put a new pulley on, which I did not know it needed. I asked him how I knew if they fixed it correctly if they replaced the plastic filter with a sponge, and he assured me it was fixed. It is working ok, but I would have preferred the other filter. The owner of the company personally came to my home because I am 72 years old and am unable to lift it to get it there by myself (I had to have my daughter lift it the first time we took it in). I am not satisfied with the filter and will not go back.

Our 10 year old Hoover Windtunnel (bagless) vacuum cleaner was no longer sucking dirt. We took it into All Central Vacuum for maintenance and a tune-up. Roy explained that most of the bagless vacuum cleaners had the problems of losing suction because the dirt just goes into the filter and motors preventing it from doing its job. They cleaned up the vacuum, replaced the belts and filters. The price of $79 plus tax seemed high to me. They apparently charge more for the bagless than they do for the vacuums with bags which I believe runs around $39.95. This is the first time we have ever had our vacuum maintained in the 10 years we have had it.
