I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out quite well. Actually there was initially a bit of a miscommunication. So, the appointment did not get setup for almost two weeks, but he did come by. He seemed like a very nice guy. He seemed honest and straightforward and I think once he realized that there was a miscommunication he was very prompt and he came by the following day. I would be happy to recommend them to my friends and family. I would not give him an "A+," but he was close to an "A." His price was very very good.

Working with Ricky, the owner of On Top, was a pleasure. We called after a hail storm in April based on reviews and recommendations. Ricky came out and walked the roof with me. He took the time to educate me on what we were looking for and the odds of getting a new roof. He met with my insurance adjuster and immediately got a new roof approved. We had some delays that were our fault, as we decided to repaint the exterior and took some time deciding on colors. Ricky quoted the exterior painting, and although I'm certain I could have beat the price, the price was fair. Once the work started, I was very pleased. The paint crew was very good and did a great job of cleaning and leaving the house looking great. The painting itself was excellent and they cleaned up very well and left no mess. The roofing crew was the same. The only sign that the roofing was done is some grit that got in the pool (inevitable) and a few roofing nails along the driveway (long driveway that the trailer with old roofing materials was driven down). The house looks wonderful and we have had nothing but compliments.
Our insurance quote was right in line with the price we were quoted on the roof (minus deductible) and the painting was a fair price and great work.
More importantly, Ricky is a pleasure to work with and seems to be a genuinely nice guy. He answered all our questions, worked with me on price and made sure we were happy with the work. I will definitely call with future projects (they are a full service remodeling company) and highly recommend On Top to anyone.

My experience went excellently. The staff was very professional and highly knowledgeable in their field. The pricing was reasonable for the quality of service provided. I was pleased with the outcome of the service and would highly recommend this company to others.

Gave me a quote to really fix the problem after my calling and
requesting it several times. They said that it was sent, but I received other emails, but not the quote. Finally got the quote, did some comparative shopping, emailed them back and asked if they could fix after first of November and they said sure, but have never heard from them again. Have placed several calls to try and schedule, but have never called me back.
I do not know what I did to make them ignore me.
So, in my opinion, the company did not do very well. Perhaps they are just so busy, but it only takes a second to call and set a date or not. That is my opinion. It is also my opinion that the $99.00 special work they did was overpriced. However, the quote they provided to do the job properly looked reasonable, and the shopping around that I did suggested the same thing. I believe they would have credited the 99.00 to any real jobs that the inspection would provide for them. I am happy, however, that they are doing so well in this down turned economy that they can afford to ignore a potential customer.
I see that my comments will be made public and that other contractors will see this comment as well as the original contractor. For me this says that I will never use Angie's list again, especially their deals as it turns out to not be a deal after all. Meanwhile, my roof continues to leak.
Searching for another roof repair company that is not associated with Angie's list.

After the excellent service a few weeks ago on our personal home, we decided to have the roof replaced on our rental property as well as have gutters installed. Everything went just as smooth as before. Ricky and his crew were extremely professional, punctual and cleaned up the yard after they were done. The tenants were also extremely pleased as they were respectful in their requests to work around their schedule since they just had a baby a few months ago.

They did a great job. The price was good.

I was very happy with the service.  I was contacted on time, and work was done when it was scheduled.  I was not pressured to purchase any additional services.  When the work was complete, my yard was clean. 

He made sure to get over the entire roof, which is quite challenging in places. He checked the deep grooves to make sure that pine needles had not done any damage in that area, which was my main concern. He checked to make sure there were no potential areas on the roof that could be a problem, He did comment that squirrels were on the roof and to know they had not done any damage. He reassured me the previous weeks' leak had just been pine needles build up, and the roof was in very good shape.

Well. Got roof checked. Need new roof...will be getting insurance to contact him.

The contractor came out on Oct 12th and provided an estimate of $9200.00. Since the coupon covered $3999.00 it meant that I would have to come up with an additional $5200 that I do not have. Nothing against the contractor it is just I cannot afford the additional money. Therefore I would like a refund.

They did a really good job.  He fixed a leak in 30 minutes and checked the other areas of the roof forother leaks.  The service was quick and painless.

I chose On Top Restoration & construction because of the knowledge Ricky possessed when describing how they would do the job, and their price was very reasonable. Ricky and his employee showed up at the appointed time, and began working promptly. The employee was very professional, he covered my floors, and furniture before starting. He matched the existing texture perfectly. I was very impressed with the complete job, and will hire On Top Restoration & Construction again.

I had two gates that were not latching correctly.  On Top Restoration came out and inspected my entire fence and gates.  They adjusted both of my gates so that they would close and latch correctly.  
Two gentlemen came out when they were scheduled.  They were professional and nice.

They got the quote back to me and contracted them about a month later to go ahead and get the fence installed and I never heard back form them. Ricky is a very nice guy, and he is very professional and knowledgeable

Everything was EXCELLENT. The process was absolutely seamless. They started by explaining the process and what steps they would take. They verified measurements and then showed us our color choices and explained the different shingle manufacturers and how they differed. Ricky also explained why their process was superior to other roofers. After speaking with him vs other companies, I was confident that he knew his industry much more than all of the other individuals I had spoken with.

He and his assistant arrived on time, assesses what I needed done and gave me a price for the extra service I wanted. They went to the home improvement store, came back with the supplies and started to work. I was extremely satisfied with the work and would certainly recommend this contractor.

He came out and walked the property. He went into detail as far as the construction of the fence. He was very detailed about the type of fence that they use and how they do it. He was prompt and gave me the proposal back to me within a 24-hour time frame. The quote that he gave me was fairly reasonable and it seems to be in the ballpark of everybody that I've gotten a quote from.

He was so professional really got the job done and made sure everything worked so me and my girls would feel safe.

It went very well. My compliments to Top Restoration for being pro-active on contacting me to set up an appointment when I pre-ordered the gutter cleaning service.  We set up an appointment and they came out to do the base service I purchased and made recommendations on other areas.  I knew I had some work that needed to be done to the roof and they were able to do it at a very reasonable cost.  I was very happy with the results and the manner everything was handled.  When I have other home improvement s to do - I will call them again.

I was contacted immediately.  We agreed on a time and the time given was exactly when he arrived.  The gate had multiple problems, and that was the main area of concern for me.  The gate is now repaired.  It hangs correctly and the latch is now working the way that should have all along.  Everything from start to finish was great.

When this service was advertised on Angie's List, it was just what we were looking for. After purchasing the package, I received an immediate email from Rick McGrath to schedule a date. We agreed to a date, via email, within two weeks of the service purchase. I appreciated that Mr. McGrath answered every question or concern I had about the repair.
Additionally, when we had to go out of town at the last minute, Mr. McGrath adjusted his work schedule to accommodate us. The work was completed on time and we are very happy with the repair. Mr. MrGrath called me to follow up and check on my satisfaction on the project.
I'd highly recommend this company to anyone needing their service. Very responsive and professional.
