Powerhouse Movers were wonderful. Ebrahim worked with us on the cost of our move from TX to TN, which made it affordable for us to use Powerhouse, the best moving company. They loaded our house into two trucks in just over 3 hours, then had it unloaded by the afternoon of the next day. Everything arrived just fine. Powerhouse Movers were highly recommended to us by some friends who have used them several times locally. We were so very pleased with our out of state move with Powerhouse and would highly recommend them to others.

Overall it went very well. A problem did occur, but they were able to resolve it and the outcome was great. Professional and fast. I will definitely hire again in the future.

Moving is already a stressful situation so anything that can help relieve that is positive. from the time I made the call until the Powerhouse truck pulled away from the new house, this was a very positive situation. professional, respectful, extremely fast, and took better care of my belongings better than I do. I would highly recommend!!

January 2nd I hired powerhouse to move my belongings to a new spot and I can say they were the most professional set of guys ever to move my 6 bedroom home. They were very polite and careful. They didn’t scratch a thing.

Me and my wife had to move my daughter after her divorce. We had four grandchildren and we did not know how we were going to get all the things out of the house seeing that my daughter and grandchildren had already moved out of state so we had Powerhouse movers come in along with Powerhouse Packers And have the house packed up and moved within two days, which was ideal because we had to sell the house in a week, that’s when we got to utilize Powerhouse Cleaners, they help us get the house ready for sale. The cost was Great, the Experience was phenomenal. Mr. Abraham and his team of professionals had us moved out of state, paying very special attention to all of our belongings, and even helped us arrange the new house just the way my daughter wanted , we are so happy with the move. We thought it was gonna be a nightmare, but it turned out that everything worked out great and we ended up selling the old house right on schedule. They were awesome and really quick!

The movers were very nice and friendly. However, I paid for 3 people.. at times, only one of them was actually moving things.. Also, they didn't come with a large enough truck, after I expressed the concern for the truck I was told that they would bring. Lastly, I was told they would show at 8 am. They were late and didn't show until 9:20 am. Lastly, toward the end, they seemed to be using the time I was paying them to fold their moving blankets instead of moving my things off of the truck.

I used Powerhouse Moving and Storage for my move from Texas to Georgia in July 2024. The initial set up and contract process went smoothly. The company delivered my furniture and boxes and upon putting things up, I realized that the ergonomic chair I used for my desk was jammed and not working. The chair is expensive ($1,600) as all ergonomic chairs generally are. I have carpal tunnel (had surgery two years ago) and disc problems in my neck and back therefore me sitting comfortably while working each day is important. I reached out as soon as I realized the issue to the owner and since I could reach her, I spoke with another employee I had been in touch with during the moving set up process. I paid these people $9,000 as agreed at the beginning of the move and the end of the move as they sold themselves on “taking care of the customer” and they also have insurance for damaged items. It took a couple of days of me trying to reach the employee and Dana, one of the owners to let them know my chair was damaged. They asked for pictures and cost of replacement which I provided. Dana, sent me a nasty text message telling me they weren’t going to replace my “expensive chair” ) (exactly what she said). I told her I would be seeking legal assistance. An attorney in Atlanta sent the company two letters to which Powerhouse flat out ignored. I am filing a complaint with the BBB as they have had 9 months to respond and rectify the issue. Do NOT use this company as they do NOT honor their insurance. Note, they literally jam items in the trucks. They also damaged my bike however I didn’t even mention that to them as it’s an older bike and the value is minimal. When you know a person depends on an item that is used daily and is used for medical purposes and it’s broken by your company you are a very dishonorable company and person to not replace the item.

Hired the company to move us into an apt since we sold our home so we can move to a better school district. There are several things that were awful when it came the 3 men who moved us but the main thing that frustrated me was the tv. Wife emailed this company and they haven’t emailed back but I know it’s because they don’t want to accept responsibility even though I know they have insurance for instances like this. Just let this be a lesson that if you have nice electronics like a 65”+ Samsung tv just move it yourself. I think the movers were just tired after 2.5 hours of moving and stopped caring. Also my front loader Samsung washer and dryer have scuffs on them as well but I’m not even stressed about it anymore. I just know who I won’t hire when we buy our new home in the future. I never really leave reviews but when something is not right I speak up just like I do for my patients. Don’t let the 5 star reviews fool you. The crew we got just didn’t care. I’ve already pretty much know they won’t fix their mistake so now I have to shop for another 65-70” well known name brand tv because of what they did. I scheduled my move with Stacy from Powerhouse Moving and cancelled shortly afterwards. I then rebooked with Dana and paid my deposit with this company a week before my move in date. On the morning of my move in date, I’d discovered that I was not placed back on the schedule during the previous week like I’d been told. I had to find same day movers to help me, and get my deposit back from this company due to their lack of organization. They asked me to push my move in date to accommodate my move, which would’ve been inconvenient; won’t rebook.

Unfortunately, having to leave a poor review based off refusal to refund overcharge hours & misquoted for a 1 bedroom (798sq ft. Apt) + 1 car Garage move from the Heights to Spring, TX. The owner, Dana was initially very kind selling the company and setting up the move until it came to tracking her down about being over charged by 4 hours and $500 later after my move. Her tone & attitude changed quickly. Long story long, my move was push from 8am to 7pm due to a worker not showing up and a truck down. I initially scheduled for 3 workers to help for a faster move since I needed to be out of my apartment by end of day. Which was addressed for concern to the owner. When the movers arrived at 6:45pm, I was informed my items would not all fit in one truck. No one came to do an in person quote. The owner's husband came out with another truck as a curtsey to help make the move go faster. He was very kind to prorate my initial rate from $175 to $155 and told me he would waive the service charge due to the inconveniences from the delayed services and having to bring another truck unexpectedly. The men ended about 11:15pm -- to which I still needed to return to my former apt to clean and return keys by midnight. Paying the invoice to the lead worker, he stated I being charged for 8 hours even though they started at 6:45pm - 11:15pm. (5 hours) I paid thinking I would call Dana at a later date to reconcile the issue due to it being so late and the workers were exhausted from the day they had. NOTE ** THE WORKERS WERE HARD WORKING AND VERY KIND MEN ** I tipped them extra in cash and offered cold refreshments while working to try and show my gratitude. After several attempts, The owner returned my call but was less than pleasant on the phone. After explaining the situation and how I was told the extra truck was a curtesy to assist, she stated how I was the problem, how I just wanted to complain, and had too much stuff; She didn't misquote me. She stated, "maybe or maybe not I would be getting a refund on the overcharged hours", per the invoice. She continued to rudely criticize me with additional hypothetical scenario's. A much different tone than the woman who sold the move to me from the start. The men's works ethic that day was great, especially considering the day they had in the July heat. However, this is a business and it's the principle. I was never informed of a 2nd truck needed or five men (per invoice it is crossed out). All I am asking is to be refunded for the additional hours that were not worked and I am being told she (the owner) may be refusing to do so. ** Please see attached invoice for proof.

We do a lot of work on our house and hire a lot of contractors, and rarely are we as blown away with a company as we were Powerhouse Moving. We needed a 10-foot sectional moved to a mother-in-law suite and there was no way to get it up the stairs. First, we called yesterday and they got it done today, they even showed up way earlier than we expected! Ebrahim was able to remove both panels from a sliding glass door, they lifted the couch up to the balcony and were able to easily get it in. Then he wasn't satisfied until the door was reinstalled perfectly. They finished everything in about thirty minutes. To top it off, the price was incredibly reasonable. I would highly recommend these guys!

Excellent Move - Very Fast and Professional. Ebrahim was so very knowledgeable about how to move this piano easily without causing damage. This piano new was in the ballpark of $80,000 so using a mover that was Insured was needed (Check!) and one they had done it many times over (Check!). This is not a small piano. At 7 Feet 6 inches long, 901 pounds and just about 5 Feet Wide, it's a freaking beast. Glad Dana sent me her own beast! Ebrahim is massive and makes this look easy!! They met me where I purchased the piano and within about 10 minutes had the piano prepped, padded, wrapped and the pedals and necessary items removed from the piano. They items were then placed in moving blankets as to protect them. After they got the piano on the dolly, they rolled it into the truck and spent some more time making sure it was secured safely as to not damage the piano on transit. Upon delivery, they took about 30 minutes with us patiently helping us decide where to place it, moving our furniture to see if it would fit this way, that way, etc... I am glad he just didn't drop and go. He told us some things about how the piano will sound and what room would carry the sound better. Wow - We are glad we put it in our main room with Vaulted Ceilings (wasn't originally going there) - It sounds amazing! Alvin and Ebrahim were so pleasant. Ebrahim (if you see his picture) is a past pro champion body builder. He took over 30 minutes working with my son (who is starting to body build) and helped him with poses. I used to lift, so what he was saying was right on target and wow - What a wealth of knowledge. All in all - Just a nice family-owned company who goes above and way beyond. I also learned they move Gun Saves and general moving. I am Planning on moving some family from California with them and learned they do cross country moves, so they will be helping us with that as well. My quote was for $475 and that is what I owed. I ended up tipping them to $150 extra as EVERY other piano mover was in the $650 range, and there is no way it another mover would have been this good. This is not my first piano, and I can tell you other movers just ask, "Where do you want this" and they drop it and are gone. If you want your exquisite investment protected - Hire them! I did with my Grand Piano investment and we are very glad we did! Thank you, Dana and Ebrahim for treating us like family ?

Ebrahim, Dana and all of the Powerhouse moving team did a great job wrapping, loading, unloading, and setting up our residence. The team members were professional and polite and worked tirelessly. I appreciated the special attention given to a piano that was especially heavy and important. Ebrahim personally oversaw the piano move and delivery. Great service and would highly recommend them to anyone moving locally or long distance.

After trying unsuccessfully with another AList company and wasting 2.5hrs, I called Dana back. Dana and her husband showed up in about thirty minutes. He took one look and said "I'm gonna move it now". And he did, almost completely by himself in about 45 minutes. This is a professional moving company. They know what they are doing. I'm having them back tomorrow to load the rest of our stuff. These guys are awesome!

They absolutely were wonderful they took what I thought was going to be a stressful process and made it A breeze! Both of our movers were very professional and polite and careful most important of all. All of our belongings made it to our new home without damage even my China ! I wanna re-say thank you to the team !!
