I woke up at 3pm to a house that was 80 degrees. I was contacted by this company just before 4 after looking on Angie's List. The technician, Monte, was here right at 5 and got straight to work. He was able to find the problem (a float switch had been activated) and correct it. He took the time to explain everything and showed me where the switch was located, how to clear it, and where the main A/C drain tied into my home's plumbing. He also took the time to explain that today's problem would continue to pop up if I didn't have the hose and pea trap cleaned. Very honest, professional, and punctual. I will definitely keep this company around.

My A/C unit had a leak for several years. Every spring I would have it filled with freon and it was good for another 1 or 2 seasons. I knew I needed a new unit, but it was one of those things I kept putting off until it finally quit. The blower motor failed just a few days before I was leaving on vacation. I have a small window unit I put in the bedroom and run on a generator during power failures and that would keep me going until I left town, but I was going to be gone for 3 weeks. I needed to do something quickly before I left or else I was afraid I would return to a house full of mold. I called Integrity and David Weems was at my door later the same evening. He was on time, professional, and spent significant time explaining the options. I told him I felt my existing system was over sized because it had always cooled the house very rapidly and shut off after about 10 minutes of operation. After completing a heat load analysis on his iPad, he was able to confirm my existing system was much larger than required to cool my house. This enabled him to quote a 3-ton unit instead of the existing 4-ton. I had asked another company if I could downsize to a smaller unit, they told me it was not an option. I suspect the other company didn't know how to do the heat load analysis, or just wanted to sell a bigger unit. I had other quotes from the competition, and in all honesty, Integrity was not the lowest price; But they were not far off. Also, the warranty from Integrity is for 10 years parts, AND LABOR. First impressions are lasting, and in the end my decision to use Integrity was based on the impression made by David Weems. There was no doubt in my mind the system he was recommending would do the job, and I felt strongly the quality of work from Integrity would be much better than the competition. I was not disappointed. Being the middle of summer, demand was such that I was not going to be able to have the unit installed before I left on vacation in 3 days. I felt so comfortable with David Weems that I gave him the key to my house and asked him to have it done before I got back. When I got home, the work was done, and the house was cool. If I had not seen the new outside unit, I would never have known they were in the house. They left the house clean and nothing was out of place. When I visually inspected the work, I could see the attention to detail. The solder joints were neat and clean. Wiring was cut to length and properly secured. I could tell the installation was done by people who take pride in their work. After a few weeks of operation, the unit works flawlessly. The decision to downsize was not a mistake. I can honestly say the quality of work from Integrity is second to none.

We called because our house became gradually hotter throughout the day. Originally we were told they could come between 8-10pm (understandable because we called around noon). They called back within a couple of hours and said they had a cancellation. They showed up around 40 minutes later. They sent a picture of the technician ahead of time which was a nice professional courtesy. The gentleman assessed our unit and decided it needed more frion. He replaced it and was very professional throughout his visit. This is the second time we've worked with this company and we will continue to use them as our go-to AC company.

Replacement was done quickly and has a 10 year warranty. Numerous service calls were needed over 12 months to track down why the heating and air conditioning system was shutting down. Attempts at correcting the shut down problem yielded no improvement. Finally, a loose wire in the thermostat was discovered, which turned out to be the cause of the problem. There was no charge for any of the service calls, no matter what time of the day or night I called.

Horrible! We were told that there was a freon leak in our coil, and the cost of the repair was $1490.00, or I could buy a maintenance package for$ 890.00. The technician never went up into the attic. A leak in our system that is still not even two years old. Not to mention that the compressor burned up just after 13 months of being installed? Where does the workman ship stand in all of this. Their records on file in their system, indicated that we had a less of warranty than what I had paperwork for a 10 year warranty. Another thing is that I caught the professional technician urinating on the side of the house, and my kids were running and playing around the house. After the technician left I found both of my freon caps left on top of my breaker box

I had an appointment for the installation of a new AC unit for my woodworking shop between 12 and 3 PM on Monday. The estimator showed on time (without a confirmation call), but was not qualified to provide the estimate, and told me that a new appointment with Edgar was necessary. The appointment was set for the following Wednesday between 12 and 3 PM. Apparently I was in the garage working when the office for Integrity called me to advise that Edgar was in the area around noon and was ready to stop over. I saw the message shortly after, called the office and was advised that Edgar moved on to another job. So, apparently, not only do you have to be home for the appointment, but you must be by the phone waiting for a call. The office advised that Edgar would be at my house later that day, which would have been fine, since I had cleared my schedule to be home. However, around 5PM, when no one showed, I contacted the office (they did not contact me) to find out that Edgar would not be there and the appointment would need to be rescheduled for another day. Integrity they are not. If the office people work this way, I wouldn't want to be depending on their crew. I was told that this company changed ownership a while back and the service is no longer the same. My recommendation would be to look elsewhere.

The first guy was nice but the second guy didn't help at all. After he left the heat stopped working and I believe its because the thermostat is loose on the wall. When I contacted him to fix it he just said to replace the whole system. My system is new and it doe not need to be replaced. I had bought a deal through them and I wasn't happy with how it went overall.

"Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I spent some time with the Technicians that were at your home. It is my understanding that it is a rental property, that had the outdoor condenser replace in 2013. I have seen pictures of the indoor air handler, and while we cannot find any model numbers or serial numbers to verify the age of the unit, it is apparently very dated. The evaporator coil on the unit has experienced severe damage, apparently from excessive external cleaning, which is the main reason the system is not cooling properly. While replacement of the evaporator coil can be accomplished, it is not recommended for several reasons. The expenditure to replace the coil would be excessive when considering the age and expected life expectancy of the system, and the fact that it utilizes R-22 refrigerant which is being phased out by the EPA. Our best recommendation, would be to replace both the inside and outside unit with new equipment that would perform well for your tenants for the long term, and save you money in repair costs as well. I apologize, as I know that expenditures for a rental property are never expected, and never seem to happen at a convenient time, but i would rather you be upset with the true diagnostic, as opposed to simply telling you what you would like to hear and performing sub-par maintenance work for you."
