The Nortex Fence employees were lovely from the start. Very easy to work with and professional. We purchased a cedar privacy fence with all of the decorative upgrades including top cap, arch trim, corbels, and decorative gates with toppers. The construction team was prompt and professional, obviously very experienced. I liked that they wore Nortex Fence shirts and had a Nortex Fence truck. They built my very large fence in 4 days. They cleaned up my yard daily which was very appreciated. When they completed, the construction team manager Jonny met with me for an inspection. I had been gone most of the last day, so when I arrived home and they had completed my fancy gates I was elated at the design and craftsmanship. They carved them by hand and they look like something pre-fabricated. I couldn't be happier with Nortex Fence and with their work. I love my new fence and it has been quite the talk of my neighbors. I am sure Nortex will be working in my neighborhood again soon!

Myself and 5 other neighbors went in together in the Summer of 2010 to give us more bargaining power to get us the best value we could. We were close to going with another company that had a better reputation, but NorTex came in an beat the competitions price by $2.00 per linear foot. The closest competition quoted us $26/ft. for the 6' fencing, I did not get any 8' fencing so I'm not sure what price per foot was for that. Price was ultimately the driving force for us and NorTex won for that reason. Even in the beginning Josh at NorTex was not very responsive and that is a common issue with this company. That aside, they did build us a beautiful fence for a very affordable price. We have no alley in our neighborhood, so most homes share 3 fence lines with our neighbors, so I was lucky and each neighbor around me was willing to pay half, otherwise the cost for my fence replacement would have been around $6,000 after taxes because I had special arch trim added to the picket side facing the street, but ultimately just paid around $3,000 for approx. 190 linear feet of fencing. I can not complain, the fence looks GREAT and they delivered on the quality they promised, but here's the concern and something we almost expected going into our relationship with NorTex. We are now 2 and a 1/2 years into our ownership of our new fencing and the fence has held up well, but there are a few boards that have split and now need to be replaced. I personally called NorTex about a year or so ago requesting Nortex come out and replace the split boards, and they have not been responsive to that request. To NorTex's credit, we have not hounded them on this, because at that time there was only a few boards that were split. We have several more split boards now and I'm close to reaching out to them to live up to their warranty. So while we've tested that a little, we have not pursued this warranty request with any teeth to see how they will react. I still recommend NorTex for value, but warn people about the lack of communications from the company. Additionally, you have to be educated and push back when things are not done right. My brother had a fence built by NorTex about a year later and while he asked for what they had installed at my home. If you look at the 2 installs his looks very cheap and its hard to put my finger on why. I think my brother did not get the top cap and trim and perhaps that is the difference, but I would not be happy if my fence looked like my brothers. Make sure you are educated and getting the grade of pickets that you requested/expected. If you stay on top of things and you're educated, then NorTex can deliver a great value product for you, especially if Johnny is still there and runs your job. Johnny was great! Josh is a good guy, but just doesn't have a great customer service first attitude. I hope this helps with your expectations and decision. God Bless!

We contacted several fence contractors. Nortex was the only one who actually came to the house to measure and provide a quote. They explained the process, answered our questions, and actually provided some creative ideas to enhance the visual appeal of our fence. The workers, Jonny and Gabriel, showed up on time, working diligently to remove the existing fence and hauled it away. The next day, they constructed the new fence, showing teamwork and skill, cleaning up afterward. The new fence included beautiful wrought iron windows in arched gates, and a top shelf that really improved the look of our house. The fence is very sturdy, and being cedar, should last a very long time. Nortex's quote was a bit more expensive than the other quotes we received, but the little extras and advice we received from them make it a good value. We would recommend Nortex to anyone seeking an attractive and high quality fence replacement and installation.

There are a lot of fancy fences in our neighborhood and we wanted one too! I got several estimates and Nortex was very competitive price wise, but their portfolio of work was what made our decision. All of the trim and gate options were beautiful. We met with Josh for our estimate and he was very experienced and it showed. The guys that built our fence were also clearly very experienced and professional. I was very happy with the finished product! We got all the options and it was worth every penny! I love our new fence and it really makes our whole backyard look pretty again. If you are looking for a fence company... Nortex Fence is the best choice! We will work with Nortex again next year for a new patio cover!

In May I got several estimates from fence companies. I decided to go with Nortex Fence whose prices were middle ground, but their quality of material, warranty, and overall presentation far exceed the competition. We decided to go with an 8 foot cedar, stained privacy fence,(with top cap and double trim) and also an automatic driveway gate. I got on their schedule for about two weeks after I met to sign the contract and they collected 50% up front. They had the underground utilities marked. On day one the crew tore down my old fence and set posts. They cleaned up and took away all of my old fence. Day two they framed the fence and got up about 50% of the pickets done which was a big deal to us because of privacy reasons. On day three two crews showed up, which was a great surprise! The original crew finished the fence while the second crew built the driveway gate. They ended up finishing both at the same time and went over EVERYTHING with me in detail. First class service! I had been at work most of the day so when I got home I was blown away with my new backyard. The quality was grade A and I was honestly shocked at the beauty. I hardly recognized my backyard. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and got everything I had hoped for. The builders were experienced and friendly. They kept my yard clean and worked hard. My salesman was Josh, and he was great too, friendly and very knowledgable. I would recommend Nortex Fence to anyone! And have! Thank you guys for a job well done!

I didn't like that they moved the date that we had scheduled. I had to wait a couple of weeks afterwards. The customer service was pretty good. They were quick to finish the work. They did the whole project in about three days, and cleaned up everything after they left.

I looked on as NorTex started my fence project and was very impressed with Johnny, the lead, during this project. These guys worked hard and built a high quality fence for me, with everything being properly leveled and great fit and finish. NorTex was by far the lowest price quote we received, but there was one thing you need to address before the start of the job. NorTex was cheaper because they didn't take care of the old fence removal, they relied on our cities bulk trash pick-up to do the job. I know NorTex will remove the old fence because I've seen them do it, so make sure you address this with them clearly before the start of the job. Outside of that issue and the fact that Josh, our rep., is sometimes not the best at follow through, we were all very pleased with the final product, and the price for that product. We have never been treated so poorly. There are a lot of fence companies out there. Never prepay and make sure you have at least one personal references. We went for low price and in the long run paid for it with unprofessional and down right rude service.
