We had a great experience in the purchase of our new A/C and Heating system from Colony A/C. From the pre-sales to the installation process, the staff was well-trained and very professional. Doyle, our salesman and install coordinator, did a great job engineering the system to improve and optimize the overall cooling efficiency of the new system. They completed the installation of 2 systems in one day and were well staffed for the job. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a company that is devoted to quality work and great customer service.

My outside unit was not cooling and I discovered that the circuit breaker was tripped. I reset the breaker and it tripped again, with a bit of sparks coming from the unit. Did some preliminary diagnostic checks and found compressor motor opens and shorts. My expectation was that the outside unit would need to be replaced. I placed a call to Colony A/C around 8:00 the next morning and they arrived just after 10:00 the same day. I was at work, so the technician called me and informed me that the terminal which connected the power wire to the compressor motor had burned up. He replaced the wire and terminals and verified that the unit was working - all for $195! The burned terminals were on the inside of the unit and not visible, so I would have had no reason to doubt that the outside unit needed to be replaced if that had been the diagnosis. Instead, the technician fixed the problem without attempting to sell me something I didn't need. I have used Colony A/C for years and whether it has been repairs or equipment replacement, I have always found them to be prompt, courteous and helpful - and above all - HONEST! We've all seen numerous stories in the news about scams and selling consumers new equipment when it isn't needed. Colony A/C's continued practice of honest, considerate, and technical excellence in the A/C service business deserves to be recognized. I have no affiliation with them whatsoever, but I highly recommend them if you're having problems with your home A/C or heating.

After speaking with 3 other AC companies the Colony AC gave us a quote and was willing to do the work immediately without having to go back to the office to check prices and get back to us. They were able to up sell us a cleaning and maintenance contract and provided the access panel painted and installed. The actual price paid $540.00 was about $70 more than their closest competitor but I feel we received more than that by having the work performed immediately and not having to paint or install the access panel myself.

My house wasn’t getting as cool as it should have. They said they were doing the best that they could do and cleaned it out. A month later it didn’t run at all. I called them again and a person came out and after a diagnosis said that a fan motor was going out. He charged me $79 for the diagnosis. He said I would have to replace the fan motor and the capacitor for $600. I didn’t want to do it for that much. He later gave me the price for the new system. I called him and got the new system the next day. The house was cold and the fan was running. I also had another company person come and install a new capacitor for my air conditioner. That was three months ago, and it is still running. It cost me only $100 when the person from Colony Air Conditioning & Heating had charged me $600 for a whole new system. I felt they owed me a refund for an improper diagnosis. Colony Air Conditioning & Heating even pride themselves on their honesty and so forth.

I specifically went to them because their main mechanic lives across the street from me. He showed up on time for the job. He seemed to be very thorough. Their price was better than I expected. I will most likely be using them in the future.

They seemed very professional. They added freon as needed to improve the efficiency of the a/c units. They were neat and clean and arrived on time. I will probably use them again.

They are knowledgeable, but I had to call them back after the first service call because the air conditioner was not working. I do realize the first time they came was after hours but their price seems very high.

I had them come out to give us an estimate and got a very fair one that we decided to go with. Salesman was very friendly and knowledgeable and did present us with our options on different efficiency and price points as well as mfg rebates being offered. We scheduled the install and the whole process went very well and we're very pleased with their services. Their crew were very punctual, professional and did a great job on the installation of our new system. We signed up for their annual service plan for both our HVAC systems and have been pleased with their services.

This is an honest and dependable company. The price for the service call was much lower than I thought it would be. The man came on time and was neat and professional. He didn't make any mess at all. We hardly knew he had been here. Our air conditioning is working great.

POLITE, ORGANIZED, GREAT TECHNICIAN. UNHAPPY THAT I HAD TO PAY FOR SERVICE CALL AFTER I AGREED TO USE THEM FOR THE PART INSTALL TOO. OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS BETTER THAN AVERAGE WITH THIS TYPE OF SERVICE.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. THEY CHECKED SEVERAL THINGS THAT OTHER A/C COMPANIES IN YEARS PREVIOUS DID NOT. THEY ALSO PROVIDED ME WITH A SOLUTION TO AN A/C CONDENSATION LEAKAGE PROBLEM WE HAD FOR 4 YEARS. NO OTHER COMPANY COULD FIX IT.

THEY ONLY CHARGED ME A SERVICE FEE PLUS A SMALL AMOUNT FOR PARTS. THE SERVICE TECH WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND WAS ABLE TO COMPLETE THE CALL TO MY SATISFACTION. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
