Called at around 9am to schedule a visit. They took the model of the washing machine and error code. The appointment was scheduled between 12pm and 1 pm same day. I got a call from the technician about 11:50am and he advised he was about 15 minutes away. The technician arrived just after 12pm. He was very courteous and neatly-dressed. He diagnosed the problem, showing me the issue and his troubleshooting steps, and then provided a quote for repairs. To my pleasant surprise he had the part to repair the washer with him (the reason they wanted the model number and error code was so they could come prepared). He fixed the washer, verified the repair, cleaned up the laundry room and was on his way by 1pm.

Frank did an excellent job in accomplishing this tricky repair. He spent as much time as needed to expose the broken part and explained that another OEM part needed to be ordered. Houston Village Appliance Repair accepted partial payment for the part, and then full payment when Frank came back to install the part. I will call Houston Village Appliance in the future for any appliance repairs we have.$475

They were on time and called before they came. They cleaned up after themselves and checked out the new microwave to be sure it was properly working. They even sat the clock. From my first phone contact at 11am I was very impressed since most companies with a promotion for a service call, you can never get them timely. The technician showed up shortly after 1pm, did his analysis and submitted the part for quote. He then came back in a couple of hours, before 430pm my fridge is running normal and more than three months issue got resolved. They use original part and carries warranty, the price is reasonable (35 diagnostic + 157 part+repair) I wish I had found them earlier

Frank was the technician who came out to service my Samsung dryer. He arrived at the scheduled time (5 min early actually) and diagnosed the problem quickly. The heating element needed to be replaced, but unfortunately he did not have it with him and had to go pick it up from a colleague. When he returned, he completed the job in a very timely fashion and confirmed that the dryer was working appropriately. Throughout my interaction with Frank, he was very friendly and willing to answer my questions and give practical advice as well. My only complaint was that I received an initial over-the-phone quote of $150-200 based on the nature of the problem (likely need to replace heating element), my sister had the exact same work done on her dryer a few months ago for $175, but I ended up being charged ~$300 for the work. They said the Samsung manufactured part was a bit more expensive.

Bad experience with this company. My freezer was not getting cold. I called them and set-up an appointment. The repair guy came out my husband and I were told that the fan needed to be replaced agreed to the repair at a cost of $289.00 was told with 24 hours the freezer should be back to normal, after 24 hours freezer was not cold actually was getting worse along with the refrigerator now is not cool, called them back he returned to say now it’s the condenser that needed to be replaced at a cost of $165.20 so again agreed to have it replace (refrigerator is only 6 yrs old) so ok..but after another 24 hrs of waiting nothing is working called them back again and was told ok will have someone come out at 5:00 PM..After waiting until 5:20 PM I called to inquire if anyone was coming out and was told it’s the compressor and would cost $400.00 yes $400.00 without checking anything at this point I didn’t trust them and asked for a refund i’m still waiting on that. Called a certified GE repair man who diagnosed the people with a computer and was told it was the sealed system failure. So people be aware of this company I don’t think he was certified like that claim to be.

The original appointment was set up and it was discussed with Mr. [Member Name Removed] he was informed that the CONDENSER FAN was being replaced and was shown it was not working because your refrigerator was still cooling there was not need to look at your COMPRESSOR SEAL SYSTEM usually this means your compressor is still functioning properly when you have one working and not the other the purpose of a CONDENSER FAN is to run cool air thru your refrigerator for both units at correct temperature Mr. [Member Name Removed] then called us back and set up for the technician to come back out because this didn’t resolve the problem you were not present for the first or second appointment with us. I apologize again for any inconvenience Mr. [Member Name Removed] then decided not to speak to me any longer I spoke to you directly and was attempting to find a solution you just kept screaming over the phone saying things that we are running a scam which I find very offensive when we are being responsive and attempting to resolve your issue you didn’t let me explain anything to you my only solution was to OFFER YOU A FULL REFUND because again I OFFERED a full refund because we failed to diagnose your compressor seal system going out during the mist of us repairing other issues with your refrigerator. Again I do apologize if I can do anything else to make the situation any better please contact me at (832) 405-3691 Vanesa Turcios"

The Houston Village Appliance guys (Frank Tovar) were the only positive part of the experience. 1) Originally purchased from Lowes 2) Lowes did not show at requested time for delivery 3) After rescheduling Lowes inexplicably cancelled the order 4) Ordered from Home Depot 5) Upon delivery by Home Depot, was informed they could not install because original oven was hardwired and thus needed a new electrical outlet 6) Electrician came by twice to try and install new outlet but could not due to placement of gas line he did not want to mess with 7) called Houston Village Appliance and they removed old oven, installed new outlet and installed new oven, and even found from a local supplier a part Home Depot did not include in the original purchase (HD said they could get it for me in 5-7 days). I paid Houston Village Appliance for that part after becoming thoroughly disgusted with performance by Lowes and Home Depot. Houston Village appliance also hauled off old oven
