Eddie's Tree Service

Contacted supplier through Angie's list to get a quote to trim & thin 2 large ash trees in my backyard. They sent someone out to make an estimate quickly (less than a week) and called me back with a bid soon after. However, their quote was about 60% more than my other quotes so I chose other providers. On that note - getting just 3-4 quotes there was a wide range of pricing offered, so I would suggest anyone getting tree service get at least 3-4 quotes for it before choosing one.

I called Eddie's on a Monday and told them what I needed. I wasn't home at the time of service, so they left an invoice for me and I mailed the check. Very punctual and professional, and easy to work with.

Forgot to trim one crepe myrtle

Gave quote very quickly, did job very quickly. Very large tree in front was removed and only thing I did not like was the huge pile of mulch left. He did tell me he did not clear away dirt but I was surprised when I came home and saw mound of mulch. Had someone else come in and clear and lay sod. Next time I would hire someone who would do complete job. Company however did exactly what they told me they would do.

We called just before lunch on Wednesday - Eddie and his son (?) came by about 5 that afternoon, measured the tree, and calculated the charges. We agreed, and he said it would probably be the following week, but he wasn't sure they could get it done before Thanksgiving (Thursday of that week). That was agreeable, also. As it turned out, they were pulling up with their machinery at 8am 2 days later, and an hour later, the tree was history. They were courteous, skilled, accommodating, and efficient. They will definitely be called when our next tree needs to be felled!

This service was completed while I was out of town but had no choice but in hindsight would have not had the work done while I could not be to watch what was going on and to check company before they left. I am so sorry and now I have a mess that I do not know how I will fix. Tree was very accessible, driveway completely clear so there should have been no problem but there are ruts in the front yard and saw dust left all over the driveway, What had made me the most angry is that nothing was put back after they moved it including concrete bird bath and other heavy items which i cannot move, So now all those things including chairs, will have to stay in driveway. They moved things that did not need moving. I have had trees taken out before and in fact, had the same tree worked on several times in the past and things that were moved were put back and the mess was cleaned up. My husband came home from work the day the tree was taken out, did not notice the tree was gone but noticed all the sawdust covering the driveway and then saw that the tree was gone. I called the company today, left a message and told them that I was stopping payment on the check until such time that the work was completed and by that I mean putting items back where they were.

Eddie was professional, prompt & did an excellent job. He performed the work while I was not at home; came home to an immaculate yard & I was able to mail a check to him for payment. I was so pleased that I contacted him about a month later to trim a large tree in the back yard. He did everything exactly as he said; great job. I will definitely call him again if I need any type of tree service.

Eddie arrived when he said he would. He and his son did a great job trimming and thinning the two oak trees. When finished they cleaned up all the debris. I have made the mistake in the past by letting the lawn guys trim my trees and can say Eddie knows what he's doing when it come comes to trimming trees and does a great job too.

Very responsive to my request for estimate - called me within a few minutes, was able to come out on the day I wanted for the estimate and he scheduled the work for the day I wanted (my day off). He brought 2 additional people with him so that work was ongoing in two locations on my property at the same time - which meant they were done much sooner. Eddie stayed on the ground and keep the place clean and kept a safety watch on the men in the trees. I saw them use multiple safety precautions (double ropes, eye protection etc.) so that put me at ease as well. I wanted the trees pruned and thoroughly trimmed to be safe for storm season, and these trees needed a lot removed to my eye, but they did such a skilled job that the trees don't look "bare" - they look very healthy with sunlight dappling through the canopy. They also chipped the branches right then and there, and raked up any leaves and twigs, so I had no clean up and no complaints from the home owners association. Another nice touch, though....my neighbor watched the work they did...asked them for an estimate, and he even agreed to do their (small) job immediately after he finished mine. 8-) I've had cheaper estimates to do the same work, but the attention to detail and service that they provided will get my return business for sure

I'm very happy with the service. I requested an estimate to trim a really big tree in the front yard which I received promptly. Their rates are very reasonable. Similar to another review I read on Angie's List, a different Angie's List vendor provided a much more expensive estimate. They provided an estimate to simply trim the tree or trim and thin the tree. I called to schedule service, they came out promptly, when promised. While they were here, I requested an estimate on a smaller tree which needed trimming and again, very reasonable price and they trimmed the small tree as well. They brought a chipper and disposed of all the debris, left the area around the trees very clean. They did a good job and I'd definitely use them again.

Great experience with Eddies Tree Service. Responded promptly to my inquiry for an estimate. Reasonable price compared with others estimates received. Only a week wait time and that was because of last weeks rain. Eddie and two additional crew arrived shortly before ten and were out of here by noon. Very professionally done, no issues. They did a thorough job on clean up and left the garden area and lawn looking great. Nice people, would recommend to anyone.

He came out on the fourth of July and he actually came out a day early. He said he would put me on his schedule but he did not give a date due to the weather. He set the appointment and they took less than an hour. They were great people to work with and he had his son with him. The service was excellent and I will definitely use them in the future. They actually came out a day early to do the service as there was an opening due to good weather. They brought three extra chainsaw's with them and they were very prepared for the service.

Went well, they were professional and completed the work quickly. They cleaned up and removed the debris.

Eddie's crew did an excellent job on a challenging tree. Our tree had extended over into the neighbor's yard covering one of their trees. The cutting back and trimming had to be done in a way that did not damage a fence and shrubbery along the property line. His crew did the work quickly and safely with no damage to fence or landscaping. Clean-up also was good.

Only the lower small branches were to be trimmed. I met with Eddie a few days before the job was done, and pointed out which branches were to be trimmed. I also emphasized no branches larger than 1/2 inch were to be trimmed, and no thinning of limbs was to be done. He said he understood, but he and his crew thinned the tree. They cut limbs from the bottom to the top of the tree.

This was a waste of time considering Eddie's behavior.

They were puntual, professional, and cleaned all of the debris. We couldn't be more pleased with the service perfomed. We will definatley be a return customer when we need tree service.

Great Family Company. The services were provided professionally and quickly. They arrvied on time and the yard was left cleaner than when they arrived. I will continue to use them for all my tree cutting and removal needs.

No story. They came, they did what they said they would do, cleaned up the yard, perfectly, then left. Excellent service.

Eddie gave my husband a quote and set a time within the week to come out to do the work. Eddie and his 2 man crew arrived on schedule. First they carefully removed the citrus tree from the front flower bed. Then one man in each tree began the limb thinning and removal while Eddie took the downed limbs to the mulcher. They made quick work of cleaning up the oaks and the yard. The bill reflected the amount quoted. We were very pleased with the quality of work and the professionalism of Eddie's Tree Service.

They were professional and prompt. They provided an estimate and talked me through the options - for example do you want the tree just trimmed or thinned etc. For the two trees they removed they made it clear that the stumps would remain since the grinder couldn't fit into the space and how I could treat the stumps to kill them. They did the work when promised and made two reminder calls 2 days before and the night before. Overall a great experience.

Staff arrived for scheduled evaluation / estimate on time and provided suggestions for how best to manage the trees. Estimate was lower than company who did much less work of similar nature 4-6 years previously. Work was scheduled for about 10 days after the estimate meeting. Crew arrived on time and worked efficiently, I was pleased with their safe work practices (safety ropes / personal protection gear) and care with which they lowered large limbs. During the work they readily consulted with me regarding options. Overall a professional job done safely and expediciously.

Eddie came by shortly after my call and offered a fair price ( I already had another estimate). We agreed that he would come sometime within the next 5 days. He called later in the day and said they could come the next morning between 8 and 8:30. They arrived promptly at 8, did a great job, fully removed all cuttings and cleaned up. Very professional, thorough and efficient.

Eddie and his crew worked very efficiently and got the job done quickly but well. They listened to my request and trimmed the oaks the way I asked them to. They cleaned up very neatly. Overall a very good experience.
