When Sergio quoted me a price of $350. I requested a written bid from him then. He said, call Laura the office person, for her to email me a copy of bid. I called Laura that day to confirm bid, and she agreed to $350 - $15 coupon=$335 Laura and I agreed that Sergio would be out in 2 days, Wednesday, to put in the drain line to code. Two other servicemen, who could not communicate well, due to limited English speaking, came out LATE, to replace the drain line to code. When I crawled up into the attic myself to see the work done, I asked what a certain part was, and they said it was a plenum. I said, "Why replace when I had a new one put in last year". They said they were told to replace it". Why would I want it replaced when I just paid a high price for a new one Last Year? When I asked for a written invoice, and if they took a check, they said, "Call Laura at the office, and give her your Credit Card to Pay". I asked for a paper copy again from servicemen for my insurance and they said they didn't have one, and to call Laura. I called Laura to pay my $335 that she also agreed to that price again, with my Credit Card. I still don't have a paid in full invoice from her. I thought the transaction was complete and paid for. I then got a call the next two days, saying that I owe them $850. They are now saying that I need to pay an additional $500, for a plenum that I did NOT Need or Authorize. I still don't have have written estimate and paid invoice. Sergio and Laura are unfairly dunning me for the extra $500 that I DID NOT authorize or need that work. This is a very unprofessional way to treat customers by trying not to honor their agreed upon estimate.

Serviceman was very friendly and spent a lot of time thoroughly inspecting the system. However, the report he created was very vague and written on an invoice sheet rather than a separate report. The thoroughness of the inspection and comments made during the visit did not translate to a full, professional diagnostic written report and unfortunately I had to get another inspection to meet the requirements of my insurance company.

Very well. I called at around 8:30am after I woke up to a non-functional A/C and 84 degree house. A tech from Sun Air was at my house by 12:30pm and had it fixed within fifteen minutes. The tech was also very helpful in answering questions I had about estimates on future upgrades/preventative maintenance.

We ended up using another service we used before. He was fine.

Excellent work. We had been diagnosed with a faulty AC compressor and proposed to replace both unit and furnace. Sun Air came and diagnosed a faulty capacitor. Unit was OK and did not required replacement. They diagnosed properly the issues with our system and fixed what needed to. Very honest approach! They came rapidly and followed up with their work. Excellent company and service.

Besides the checkup (and spotting a piece of insulation that was blocking the drain), I got some good advice on what to expect from a buyer's house inspector and how to reply to the almost inevitable claims of issues they'll come up with.
