They seemed to have very knowledgeable people. They are not a huge company and not a tiny company either because when we call them, most of the time we get people we have not seen before. They are very uniformly well trained, very polite and easy to work with. They do little things like take their shoes off before coming into the house and they never had to get back to us to repair or redo anything they work on previously. We really don't have to worry about anything after they are done with their work and they are very professional. They give an estimate before they do any work. They never charge us anything extra than their estimated price. They show up on time and are really quick. They get the right tools, right equipment and get the job done on time and with passion. Their pricing is reasonable and no complaints about their responsiveness. I will definitely continue to use them like I did for many years.

Sun installed our A/C approximately 4 years ago, and we were very happy with their work. The fan motor in the air handler went out, and although under warranty, Trane (the manufacturer) had no replacement motor anywhere, and estimated 2 to 6 weeks to get a motor. We live in Houston, and it's 100 degrees. The thought of no A/C, or buying window A/C units for a few weeks was not pleasant. Art (the owner of Sun) went above and beyond what we could have hoped. He worked with Trane and got them to agree to let him buy an air handler, pull the motor out, and install it in our unit, and then have them ship him the motor from their factory which he would install back in the new air handler, and ship the air handler back to them all at their cost. He did all this on Friday and over the weekend, and on Monday morning one of his tech's Richard was there installing the motor. It works beautifully, and we still can't believe the great service we got from Art and all his team at Sun.

They are always good. I have used them for awhile my AC maintaince.

Our upstairs AC unit was not working when we returned from a trip on a Sunday. We called Sun Monday at 8AM and they came out at 1PM and repaired the unit. We actually called two other AC companies Monday morning and both said they would call back to advise of a service time. One did and said they could come out the next day, the other never called back.

I called them on Monday July 5th to come inspect my AC as it was not cooling properly. They came by on time and explained that I needed a new coil which I was aware of and that my compressor was not working properly (which I suspected) They gave me a quote and I called them the next day to schedule the work on Friday. They came on Friday on time and the work was done. They checked my vents because one room was not cooling at all. They were very friendly, professional and timely. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had scheduled service from 2p-4p. The serviceman arrived at 2:42pm, which was in my opinion fabulous, he introduced himself and was courteous anserwing all my questions. It took him a little less than an hour to complete the work, and so far my A/C is working just fine. I was also able to use my $15.00 coupon off the the orginal price of $273.85 offered to Angie's List customers.

They are an excellent company to work with. They were here on time and did the work quickly and efficiently. The price was also competative.

I have 2 gas furnaces that needed a maintenance check and a broken gas pool heater. I called Sun and they gave me an appt for just the day and time I needed. They said they didn't do pool heaters, but they would have their service man look at it and attempt to find its problem. So, furnaces check out ok; pool heater has 2 faulty switches. Guess what? No charge for the pool heater diagnosis, no repair on the furnaces and I had an Angie's coupon. WOW. My husband was able to order the pool heater parts to fix it himself so we do not have to have a service call by a pool repair firm. Next time I need any maintenance or repair work done on my A/C or furnaces, I'm going to SUN. Forget wordy explanations: RAVE REViEW!

They showed up on time and they are reasonable on price. They did a good job.

I have been using them for 10 years. They do good work and they are conscientious. The price is reasonable and I do not have any complaints. His crew is well trained and courteous. They show up quickly after I call them. The price is competitive.

I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years, however Sun A/C's recent performance has left me looking for a new A/C service provider. I was having trouble with an AC unit and called for a service call. The technician was over an hour late in arriving, otherwise I was satisfied with the service call. While he was there, I had him prepare a quote for some additional work to be done at a later date. A couple of days later I had Sun return to the house to do the work that was previously quoted. Again, the technicians were over an hour late. The work involved installing 2 sediment traps and adjusting the drip pan (which was improperly installed by Sun in the first place). I told the technician that I did not think I should have to pay for the drip pan work - reasoning that it was Sun's responsibility to install it correctly in the first place. He called his supervisor and he refused to adjust the bill. I personally talked to the supervisor and told him I felt I was being over charged - he was quite rude and again refused to adjust the bill. A couple of days later Art at Sun A/C left a message that they would refund some of the bill - its over 6 weeks later I still have not received a refund. This is not the same company I have used and recommended over the years. I suspect the the original owner (Jim Mazurkiewicz) has probably retired and sold the company. The second crew that did the installation work were indifferent and did not clean up after themselves. The freshly cleaned carpet was tracked up with mud and I found an empty soda can and used dust mask in the attic after they left.

Very, very well. He called ahead Monday morning, and arrived when he said he would. Worked on it for about 20 - 30 minutes and had it fixed. I'm looking at replacing the unit (it's very old) he gave me some sizing and other advice about what to look for, as well as a good budgetary number to help me plan it. I'm very happy with how it all turned out.

They charged me $140 for the intial visit just to come out and look at the unit. Instead of looking at the problem and trying to fix it they just told me I needed to buy a new unit. They weren't even going to try to fix the unit, they just wanted me to buy a new one from them. I felt taken advantage of. I called someone else and they were able to fix the unit with a small part.

Our a/c unit upstairs quit working Saturday evening. I found this company on Angieslist and called them late Saturday night, and they scheduled my appointment for early afternoon Sunday. Richard Socha was the serviceman that fixed our unit. He was early for the appointment, which we very much appreciated ! Richard was friendly, professional and had the unit repaired in record time. Thanks so much for excellent price and service !

Excellent. Our unit stopped working overnight. Thermostat was completely dead. Called them that morning and they were out the same afternoon. Arrived in the time window as promised. Diagnosed the problem as a blown fuse and rather than simply replacing the fuse they followed thru to find a wire that had vibrated a small hole in the insulation and replaced it. Checked everything out. All for the cost of a service call. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. Rarely have I seen better overall customer service and professionalism.

I have used Sun for many years. Always punctual, professional, does not sell you unneeded services, respond quickly to emergencies.

They stated it would take 10 days to order the parts. It was 90 degrees in the house...you don't wait 10 days in that type of weather.

Sun Air was able to send out a technician the next day to look at our non-running AC unit. Diego quickly diagnosed the problem as a couple of spent capacitors. He went to purchase the replacements, and they were installed in no time.

Since we have a home warrenty that covers heating & AC I called the home warrenty company. The technician of the heating & AC contractor sent by the home warreny company had our upstairs AC up and cooling in a week. The compressor had been wired incorrectly preventing it form cooling. SUN completely missed this issue. I estimate that the cost of the repair was $300 - $400.

They were great. They fixed it during the week of Cristmas. They came out to fix me up before his family went to Mexico. He was awesome.

Very well, better results than anticipated. We though there was a severe problem with one of the units, but apparently the original installer did not set it correctly.

I can in no way recommend this company. The upstairs & the downstairs furnaces in my house went out at the same time, or one went out, the other made up for it, then it went out. We had Sun come over to see what was wrong & give us a quote. The guy they sent said at a minimum, the downstairs evaporator coil needed to be replace, and to do the job right we should replace the downstairs furnace itself. He also said the upstairs furnace was dead & needed to be replaced, without question. Total cost of at least $4,200, or $6,000+ do "do it right." We then had someone from another company come out. To get the downstairs furnace working, all he did was light the pilot light. That was all that was wrong. The upstairs furnace needed a new blower motor & wheel, which we had him replace for a total cost of approx $700. I cannot believe that the guy from Sun didn't know to check the pilot light. Even if a guy's only been repairing furnaces for a week, he would know to check the pilot; I can only conclude that he was being terribly dishonest. As a note, it was my wife who worked with the guy from Sun. Frankly, I suspect he thought he could take advantage of the fact that he was working with a woman who doesn't know anything about furnace repair. In no way would I ever recommend this company.

They were very good. I was happy with them. It was one of three quotes I got. They came in, they did the job and did it completely, thoroughly poured in the foundation and everything. I was happy with the work. The pricing was comparable to everyone else. I would use them again.

Great experience with Sun. I called them at 3 in the morning in the middle of July with newborn twins at home, knowing that when the sun came up everyone was going to be miserable (it was already too warm in the house). I expected a call back in the morning, but got one 20 minutes later to schedule someone to come out first thing in the morning. They came at 8:00, fixed the small problem, and we were cool again within minutes. Given the small children in the house, Sun was a lifesaver.
