The crewed arrived on time and began working immediately. There was an error in the size of the vent delivered and it was corrected without impeding the job! They cleaned up everything! I even called them back after a storm a couple days after they completed and without hesitation they came back and inspected everything to make sure there were no problems. I would definately use them again.

They were fine. They came out really fast. We had no problems with them. They were nice and did exactly what we asked and they were done. They were very reasonable. We were pretty pleased.

It was very good from beginning to end. They were very fast to come out. They wrote everything down and gave me my senior citizen's discount. The clean up was fabulous; they didn't leave one scrap anywhere. Their price was a little bit higher than everyone else but I went with them anyway because I was impressed with them. They were right on the money. I would absolutely use them again.

Called because they are highly rated on Angie?s list in my area. Answering service said they would call back that day, Ricardo called the next day to make an appointment for the following week. It rained on my appointment day (it was a Tuesday) I didn't receive a call to cancel but I figured no one would be working that day so I waited for the reschedule call. No call that week so I called the office back on Thursday to set another appointment. Got the answering service again but this time an office person called me back and apologized for the inconvenience. They sent me a new sales person. They called back on Friday and set the appointment again for Tuesday the following week. With a promise to sneak me into Monday if they had time because I was missed. A couple of hours later Ricardo called back saying he wanted to reschedule. I told him that I had another appointment with someone at his company. I called the new sales person and told them to work it out. On Tuesday 10 mins after our appointment Ricardo called me to say he was on the way but he needed for me to give him directions because his GPS was getting him lost. He was right down the street maybe 5 mins away he shows up 45 mins later. I later found out during our conversation that he stopped to talk to someone about replacing a roof. After what I thought was a very good appointment he said he would send me the quote that night or the next day. On Friday Ricardo calls me and asks how do I like those quotes he sent me. I tell him I have never received anything and he ask for my email address again. He then proceeds to feed me a story about broken email and problem but he never once bothered to called me. Long story short after many obvious lies told by Ricardo. I finally got something from him on Saturday but it was a quote for just the flashing no quote for siding the garage and the quote I received might not even be for me since a line item is to recaulk a skylight (I don?t have a skylight). I called the office twice this week to get someone to call me back and I got nothing. I emailed Ricardo twice to verify the quote and I?ve received nothing . If you read all the recent reviews of this company this story is common place. The company might do great work but I?ll never know it since I can?t even get a quote after a month of really trying for one.

I went with another company as I received a better price. Both offered discounts as Angie's List member. This company was my second choice.

Not good since I did not receive an estimate on how much it cost to replace my roof.

I called to get a quote for some work and left a voicemail during a weekend. After a few weeks I got a call back from the company. The apologized for the late call back and asked to schedule a visit right away. We set up an appoitment. The day of the appointment the called and said they couldn't come that day. They never called back after.

I went really well with them. I will recommend them. He did what he said he was gonna do. The only negative thing that I would say was that they didn't cleaned up as much as they should, but I contacted him and he did send his guys back out with no question asked, to take care of it, so I did appreciate that. I definitely use them again.

Joe Ochoa Roofs & Even More were very professional. I would be happy to do business with them, I just happened to find another contractor. He was responsive and punctual.

It went not as well as we expected. We had a job that was supposed to take a week that took them over a month to complete. We cut the project off when they got to the last portion of the project. It was a very expensive project that we got them involved with. It was just always one excuse after another. There might have been one or two workers here every day. According to our city ordinance, they have to have all the gas lines and things marked and they never did any of that. They could have caused some serious damage because of that. They actually cut a power line and we had to eat the cost of about $12,000 to repair the power line that they cut. They should have paid for that but the line was nicked and they would not take care of it. We had to do it in order to maintain power. We had to get in touch with the owner of the company in order to even get the work completed. They seem to be really good when we talked to them. We chose to go with them because they were a large company. My son and his wife had to cancel their plans and stay here in order to supervise the work. We could have had the job done cheaper.

Scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Waited for them for 30 minutes. Made repeated calls that went unanswered. They never showed up or explained why they didn't.

Soon after I bought house my roof started leaking.Joe was fantastic, without me even asking him.He had already gone to homeowners association to inform them the type of roof they were installing all approved.I did not have to worry about a thing.I highly recommend him

Everything went according the original estimate. No hidden costs. No surprises.

My advice is to always call the company BEFORE buying an Angie's List Big Deal to see it it is a worthwhile deal. I did not do that with Joe Ochoa... instead I bought an Angie's List Big Deal for a roof inspection and leak repair package without first contacting the roofing company. It ended up with me having much different expectations about what I had purchased than what Joe Ochoa's Roofing was expecting to provide. The whole experience was a waste of time for both myself and the roofing company as I did not get any value from the Angie's List Big Deal nor did I end up becoming a customer. After purchasing the Big Deal online, I received an email saying to expect a call (withing some reasonable amount of time). When I did not receive a call, I called them. Rather than apologize for the delay or similar, I was asked who was supposed to call me? I didn't know. This was the start of the weird not-my-problem experiences I had with this company before I requested a refund from the Angie's List Big Deal people. Looking at past Angie's List reviews, I see that others have had similar disappointments with this Big Deal purchase. Also, given that I was told they were months behind on the Angie's List Big Deals and was encouraged by the roofing company to ask for a refund before they did any work, I believe the roofing company was not happy with the Big Deal marketing either. I was disappointed to see Joe Ochoa Roofing offering another round of Angie's List Big Deals after I had requested my refund. In truth, I am more disappointed with Angie's List Big Deal marketing than Joe Ochoa Roofing. If anyone is interested, I could post or forward emails from the roofing company explaining how the Angie's Big Deal is valued and why I was not going to get a leak repair or inspection report as I expected under the Big Deal. In the end, if you are looking at roof repairs or a new roof, you can call Joe Ochoa Roofing directly to receive a free estimate which is essentially the same as the roof inspection offered in the Big Deal. From there, I think you could talk with the estimator and make a decision about how worthwhile it would be to buy the Angie's List Big Deal.

They were friendly and did a good job and it went well.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. He was good but my husband had a hard time getting a hold of him to get the work completed. As far as we could tell, we haven't gone up to look at the roof. Maybe we should have been but we haven't had a big rainstorm to test it. It was okay but it was hard to schedule the appointment with him. We went above and beyond the Big Deal price because we had more work that needed done. I would probably look at other providers that are a little more responsive because that's the key issue. We are pretty busy and we need to be able to get back to people and get things to finally done.

Long term repair to roof vent seals and ridge vent. At higher price, upgrade repair service to last remaining life of roof. Good work, fair price but very difficult to contact when I had questions as to if the work was done. It took months of effort and finally the threat of bad reviews to get closure on the job. But they did not bill me until I was satisfied with work completion. Learning: I must stay home to monitor work to avoid communication issues. |

David Hernandez came out promptly and spent several hours looking at roof and related work. Stated he needed to talk with his office about how to go about work. Never contacted me again - did not return e-mails seeking status.

No one bothered to call back!

It turned out great. It was great service. The job was priced very good.

Roof replacement; gutter installation |Robert was very responsive and thorough. Crew did a great job and cleaned up very well afterwards. Used them for subsequent gutter installation. Same quick service and responsiveness.

Job went well. The weather wreaked havoc on scheduling, but once the sun started to shine again they got out there and did it. Pretty stealth about it too as my tenants didn't even realize they had been there. Good communication by email. Got the job done. I give them A+ ratings.

After an initial missed appointment by another consultant, David Hernandez came out as scheduled and performed the inspection, took pictures, showed and explained the problem areas, and was very accommodating scheduling the work to be completed. Mr. Ochoa came with the repair crew who completed the work quickly and neatly. Mr. Ochoa answered all my questions about the warranty on my current roof and what a new roof would involve. He couldn't have been nicer or more professional. I will use them in the future when the need arises.

David Hernandez was a consummate professional. The initial consultation was very thorough and informative. He was able to quickly identify the source of the leak. During his inspection, he and his team discovered that a whole section of ridge-line shingles had blown off. The work was performed about 10 days later, after we decided on which optional services to perform. They showed up on time, and finished the work within a couple of hours. Overall, the experience was excellent. The only reason for the B "Responsiveness" rating was that I had to follow up three times to get an invoice, but otherwise, I would highly recommend Joe Ochoa Roofing.
