Shade Tree Arbor Care

Excellent! Everyone involved did a great job. The price was reasonable for all the work done and for the high quality of work delivered. They arrived on time. A key issue to me is this company carries full liability and workers' compensation insurance. I have used Shade Tree Arbor Care's services in the past and will continue to do so.

They did a great job from answering the phone when I called about an estimate , to showing up on time for the estimate to getting all the work done safely, professionally as advertised. Luis and his team were great. They showed up early with all the trucks and crew. I was nervous since we were taking down a few large trees. The large Willow was my main concern, about 70 feet tall or so, but the team did a very professional job. They cleaned up, did a little additional work for me before they left and I was a happy camper. Their price was competitive and will not hesitate bringing them back. They did what they promised to do, when they promised to do it , at a reasonable price and all done very professionally. A very good deal for both of us....

The initial visit to evaluate the job at my home was prompt and professional. However, the follow up with a quote never happened. I was never contacted again by the service representative and ended up using Ed Dolphin of Grandiflora Services LLC, who did a great job and followed through on his commitments.

Ask them for a physical address. You won't get more than a suite number which is really a PO box. They cut down a tree in our yard and slammed it against the house then into the ground so hard that they damaged our sprinkler system. I refused payment and they threatened to sue me. This is the second name this company has operated under. The old name was something like Green Tree.

Real well. They called me and told me they were going to be there. It went well. They were punctual and professional. And very knowledeable.

Their truck and grinder showed up an hour later and began the work which consisted of trimming a few branches overhanging my property from a neighbor's sweet gum tree, pulling up roots from that same tree which had grown above ground all the way to my foundation and cutting a 6" inch deep groove along the length of my driveway to cut through any underground roots. The third part of the job was cutting roots from another smaller tree in front of my house that had also gown above ground making it difficult to walk in that area, and also had grown close to the foundation. As an added free benefit. the guys cut off a 2-yr old 18' tall volunteer tree close to the side of the house, and also trimmed up a Magnolia tree in the front yard on one side to better match the other side. The entire job took the crew of five about two hours to complete and they did an excellent job of completing the work and cleaning up the mess. It was very nice of them to do the last two little jobs for free. I have always felt that I've gotten my money's worth with this company and would recommend them to anybody!

The first summer I left a couple of messages and they never called back. The second summer they did respond. A guy named Mike called back and said he would be looking for a tree that would work for us. I left several message and never heard back from him.

Shade Tree Arbor Care was very careful in removing the dead tree to make sure it didnt damage any other trees. They cleaned up all the debri and ground down the stump very well. They were very professional and knowledgeable.

The professionalism, price (hands down best fair price in town) and the way the job was handled was outstanding, Luis explained everything to me in detail and told me what they would do when they came out. Out on Friday---Done on Saturday. The job was done fantastically. I couldn't have been more pleased. I also had a tree removed on another property and it was handled on the same day too.

Everyone affiliated with Shade Tree was professional and courteous, from the initial call to set up the appointment to cleaning up the last twigs. I would definitely hire them again.

I contacted Shade Tree a few weeks ago to set up an evaluation of my tree problems with the idea that I wanted some trees removed and a root barrier system installed on one in the front yard. I was never contacted by them but thought that it might be due to an incorrect message or phone number that was given to the answering service. Gave it another go and set up an appointment for today between 12:00 and 2:00. I had the Geek Squad scheduled to come on the morning and thought the timing would be perfect. The man from Shade Tree arrived at about 1:30, however, the Geek Squad was just finishing up. He was mad and said he stood by the front door waiting for us to answer the door and that he had rung the door bell. I never saw him or heard the door bell which had worked fine a few hours earlier. If I had I would have answered sense I obviously cared enough to call twice to schedule a meeting and was at home. He then went out to his truck to get his phone and called me. When I answered I could tell he was mad, but had him come to the door anyway to show him my trees. When he came in he informed me what had happened convinced that I or a member of the Geek Squad had seen him and that we purposely ignored him. He further went on to say how busy he was and that he was in a big hurry. At that I finally figured out that it was hopeless to talk to him sense he didn't have the time or inclination to talk to me. At that he left still mad. I don't know if I was more insulted that he would think that I would go to all this trouble to meet with him and then ignore him or amazed that someone would think it in the first place.

Wasn't impressed with my contact. I called telling I received a card in the mail. I told the person who answered the phone, I had a sick sabal palm. She asked how tall. After I told her 5.5 - 6 ft, she said they don't work on shrubs to call a lawn service. Not bad, but so matter-a-fact, and did not ask could I use any their other services listed on the card. The former company I used to service all my trees, including the palm, went out of business due to death of the owner, therefore Shade Tree missed a bit of business.

Prompt with estimate, which was much less than 2 other bids for less number of trees to be removed. Showed up on time and completed work the same day. Cleaned up all debris and hauled away. I asked many other questions about my trees and shrubs and all questions were patiently answered. We are scheduling the trimming and general cleanup of our other trees, approx. 15. In addition, we have a couple of other trees needing removal and we will definitely call them for that.

The day work was scheduled rain was in the forecast. The crew showed up on time and worked for as long as possible before the rain was too much. Unfortunately, the rain hampered some of the last of the cleanup. On the following day I returned home to find the clean up complete. The front yard looked wonderful. It is nice knowing that a company can complete a job without endless phone calls and rescheduling. Thank You.

Arrived on time got right to the job. Was finished in about an hour. did a great job. good people.

It took a day for their answering service to answer back, but they do. They did a great job and did exactly what they said they would do. Even tackled the very high limbs over my neighbor's yard that noboby would touch before. All our limbs are over our house which makes them very hard to do. Very professional service.

They did a beautiful job on my trees. The rest of my trees were all pruned and shaped. They did a terrific job!

WOW! What an amazing experience! I called Shade Tree Arbor Care late last week because I needed someone to evaluate the trees in my yard for salvageability - our house is surrounded by mature growth trees and some took a very bad hit with last year's drought. I set up an appointment for yesterday, Monday, at 2pm. At 2pm on the nose Mr Luis Rodriguez was at my door. We walked through the yard and eventually determined that 12 trees needed to be cut down - most not too large, but a couple were on the substantial side. Mr Rodriguez also declined to put some other trees on the "cut down list" because they were distressed but salvageable, showed me how to tell when a tree is too far gone, and gave me advice on what to do to save those trees. All of this was greatly appreciated, especially since he could easily have made more money by adding them to the cut down list. He gave me a very reasonable estimate right on the spot, and we set up an appointment for his crew to come out on Wednesday. About an hour later, Mr Rodriguez called back and told me that a crew he had out in this area would be done shortly with a prior job and could they maybe come over and start the job in our yard? I said yes, with the proviso that I had to be out for a short while, but would be back in plenty of time before they'd be done for the day. When I came back from my errand, the Shade Tree crew was in full swing! As a matter of fact, they must have pulled up very shortly after I left the house because they were close to half done by the time I came back! I was a little concerned about the quality of the work, given how fast they had cut down one of the large trees plus an assortment of smaller ones, but the quality of the work was first-rate! If I hadn't known where those trees had stood, I would not have been able to tell where they had been cut down! The stumps had been ground down to substantially below soil level and any sawdust left from the grinding down had been spread out and worked into the top layer of the soil, and there were few twigs and leaves left on the ground. No other plants were damaged or in most cases even particularly disturbed! Very, very neat work!!! By around 5 pm all the work was done! Absolutely amazing! I will gladly call this company again, both to help me give much-needed TLC to the surviving trees and to remove any if needed. Thank you to everyone on that crew for the professional job you all did!!!

The tree was dropping 20' limbs so I asked them to trim the entire tree. They had 5 men working together in the tree and on the ground. They were right on time. It only took them 2 hours and they had all limbs hauled away and shredded and the yard raked. The only damage was 1 fence picket was broken and they replaced it before they left. I will definitely recommend them and I will call them again soon to trim the other 2 trees. They were very professional and pleasant to work with. A+!

Our experience was highly satisfactory and they would be our first choice if we needed any additional work.

Overall a very good experience. Work was scheduled promptly, and calls returned promptly. Crew arrived on time, and were very professional and polite from start to finish. Clean up was top-notch........you would never know the Oak Tree was ever there. Will definitely call them for care of my trees in the future.

Luis brought out his crew at the time he promised. They went to work in a professional way. They did a very nice job and cleaned up the wood and branches.

They did good work in 2010. They were completely unresponsive and did not perform any work in 2012.

I have used Shade Tree several times now and was referred to them originally by a family member who had used them. I have been very happy with all of their work. The most recent work was removing a few medium sized trees stump grinding. I also had the canopies raised on my large trees as well as thinning and pruning for better light and air. I also use them late last year to remove a large Oak, a Huge Oak and several small/medium trees killed by the drought. Luis arrived promptly at the scheduled time to provide the quote. After walking the property and reviewing the proposed work, the quote was submitted. Now Shade Tree is not the lowest quoted service. However, they are not a fly by night, here today, gone tomorrow company. They are insured and Bonded and provide the verifiable proof of it. As it happened they had 2 crews in the area that were finishing up a job and could be available that day if I was interested. As it was a Saturday, that was great. A little while later the first of the 2 crews arrived. I was pleased to see I recognized most of he crew from the previous jobs that had been completed for me. A company that has loyal employees and history goes a long way. not one that picks up a crew that is standing outside the local home improvement store, or day labor site, that morning. The crew was courteous, and worked safely in the trees and around our home and cars. They took care inside he canopies of the large mature trees to make sure they were nicely and healthily trimme without looking chopped and hacked. They kept the work areas cleaned, immediately removing the limbs and debris as it was cut out of the trees. The area was fully cleaned once the work was completed. Luis came to the site as the work was finishing up, he noticed a tree had been missed for trimming (I had so many, I missed it myself) he quickly resolved that, and ensured all of the promised work was completed to my satisfaction. I am once again pleased with their work and will use them again when I need any tree service.

I have not decided yet when I'm going to have the job done.
