Jason came out and listened to my needs. He made recommendations and drew plans. Emailed the estimate. Crew came out and dug the drainage (that took one day). We had bad rain during this time, so work was halted, but I was contacted and informed they would begin again as soon as the weather allowed. Then they did the remaining work in about a day and a half. When I asked for some of the yard design to be modified, the work was done.

They did not do all the work. The guy, who did the work, was a young kid. He didn?t supervise the job. He sent some guys over and they didn?t do everything that they were supposed to do. I spent around $345, which was a very reasonable price. The work that they did was fine, but I had a problem with what they didn?t do. When I called them, they got back to me. However, when I mentioned to them that they missed doing some work, they didn?t respond. I am still waiting on the response for that, which I know will not come. I will not use him again.

The quality of work was great. Sometimes I had to call a few times to get a response, once I got a date scheduled they showed up on time and completed the work. They had the best price of the quotes I received and they did good work.

I spent around $1300 for some work on my sprinkler system. I had some problem with the drainage; he took care of that. He moved some plants. He put mulch in. He also made islands around the trees and put some rocks around the flower beds and down the driveway. He did a lot of work for a very reasonable price. He did a good job for me. I felt like he was doing the job for his own parents. He is the best landscaper that one could have to do the work. He has a degree in landscaping and he has a great crew. As he gets a lot of work, he tries to be on time as much as possible. I will definitely use him again in the future.

At first they were extremely responsive. I received a quote and sat down with Josh (i believe the owner) and agreed to a design with some changes. The changes were not done and had to be fixed to be what we agreed upon, but this wasn't a problem since they did it without any complaint. The quality of their work was great (except I don't think they used a licensed electrician because they had some obvious code violations) Everything took longer than they said it would, they blamed it on weather but if you have been here enough you can predict that the weather can be unpredictable. I think we had a total of 2-3 rain days but somehow these rain days delayed the project over 1 month. And, to add to the experience, the punch list is still not done. 2 months ago I told them I was going to withhold payment (i am doing a payment plan) if they do not take action on the punch-list, they understood, and waited until a few days prior to the payment due date and then came out to "finish" the punch list, so I released the payment. They didn't finish the punch-list during that visit and just finally corrected the electrical so it is up to code, but there are still some outstanding items. I have not released any more of the payment and since my calls seem to go un-answered I have stopped calling. I figure, when they want the rest of the money, they will call me / finish the job.

He was on time with all appointments and no mess was left behind by his crew. They did exactly what we contracted and everything went smoothly. Moved a large plant with no extra charge and helped advise us about landscaping problems with overall lot drainage. The owner is hands on and very nice.

Their price was reasonable for the big job they did. His crew was very considerate. I have 3 dogs in the back yard and they made sure that the gates were not left open at any time. He was just easy to work with and he suggested some plans. We went over it and changed some of them. He came out and showed what it would look like for the things that I didn?t like. His quality was very good and he was very responsive. They were here when they said they would be here and keep me informed if they are getting late. I would use them in future.

Our irrigation system wasn't working properly, they diagnosed the problem with the controller and replaced it which solved the problem. However, I also asked them to inspect all of the heads for coverage, leaks, etc. There were a couple of severe leaks that I specifically pointed out. They neglected to repair any of them and our irrigation system is still sub-optimal. I wouldn't have been too upset, but they charged me a $95.00 service fee and I figured I should have received more service for that money. When I sent the check, there was a box asking if I was satisfied or unsatisfied with the service-- I wrote that I was unsatisfied, but never heard back from them. They are a member of the BBB and advertise quite a bit in The Woodlands-- it made me never want to trust the BBB again.

IT GOT SO THEY DID NOT DO THE WORK THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO AND SOME OF OUR PLANTS DIED AND THEY WOULD NOT REPLACE THEM LIKE DOUG HALE SAID THEY WOULD. THEY WOULD PRE-BILL US. I DON'T LIKE TO PAY FOR SOMETHING I HAVE NOT SEEN YET.

I thought Clean Cut did a very good job. Their workers are reasonable and personable. They explained in detail what would be done and paid great attention to detail.

All our plants and our lawn are doing quite well. A crew comes biweekly and does a consistently good job. They arrive on time and do whatever we ask them or whatever is needed. They've actually exceeded our expectations. We pay extra for them to fertilize when necessary.
