He showed up on time and completed the job quickly.

It went well. The problem with hot water flow was not an easy problem to fix. Ron was extremely persistent and professional and fixed the problem without wasting any time. He showed up exactly when he said he was going to show up and answered all my questions clearly and with a good nature. We were looking for a plumber who we could count on for both the current job (water heater replacement and hot water flow issue) in this area and I believe we've found one.

We purchased their Big Deal for 2 hours of plumbing service for the price of 1 hour, with the intention of using this deal for the installation of 2 toilets. Jennifer did all the communication with me, and was very flexible with my rescheduling of my original appointment without any problems. She was very friendly on the phone, and was willing to spend time with me on a Saturday answering a variety of questions, including time estimates for what I wanted to get done (note that many other plumbers refused to do so over the phone). They required a couple of days advanced notice for this appointment. Service was excellent and the installation went very smoothly. I did ding their overall rating for a couple of small incidents: 1) I was told beforehand that miscellaneous materials costs for these toilet installation would be $10 - $15 per toilet. This ended up coming in at $35 per toilet. 2) I was told beforehand that the haul away of the old toilet was no problem and free. It turned out that their vehicle was "full", so they couldn't take it away. However, they were kind enough to carry it to the curb for heavy trash pickup (scheduled next week). All in all, they did a good job and a very good price (with the Big Deal), and I would use them again.

That was fantastic. He was professional and he did what needed to be done. We were quite satisfied with what happened here.

He fixed a clogged drain and fixed my garbage disposal that had something stuck in it. He was really good and very personable. He was punctual and scheduled the appointment dependent on my schedule. He returned my initial call within 4 hours.

My experience turned out very well. They repaired one of the toilets, one of sinks, and the shower. They were very professional and knowledgeable. One technician came out and he was continuous of the time. Scheduling went well and I was happy with the work they did.

Mr. Tierney was able to fit us into his schedule the same day as we called. |Our kitchen sink faucet had blown off and water sprayed everywhere until we turned off the water under the sink. My husband is no longer able to get down on the floor under the sink, so we needed speedy help. Tierney was able to replace the new faucets we had purchased in just a little over one half hour. Mr. Tierney was very helpful.

The men were kind, helpful and informative. We liked them very much and will probably have them back.

James was about 8 or 10 minutes early. He was very polite, helpful and likeable, as well as knowledgeable. He repaired the faucets efficiently, made sure that the hoses were installed tightly on the washer, and also inspected our garden tub to advise how we can replace the faucet. We were very impressed with James and would ask for him again the next time we need a plumber!

I used the special on Angie's list. The guys contacted me by email to set a date. They showed up on time and did a clean job on the shower valve removal and replacement. The guys were polite and well mannered. I would call them back out for any other plumbing issues.

Appointment at 9:00 AM - Gary called 20 minutes before arriving at 8:50 AM - installation completed at 11:20 AM. Work performed was great, neat & the old sink, facet, disposal & boxes were hauled away. Gary was very professional & courteous - we will be sure to request him next time. Highly recommend this company!

The technicians arrived on time. The handles to two bathroom faucets were originally installed incorrectly. The technician took the handles off the faucet and installed them correctly. They also fixed a slowed drainage problem in the kitchen. They finished ahead of the scheduled two hours and asked if there was anything else they could help me with.

Called and scheduled an appointment. They called and notified us what time they would be arriving so that we didn't have to wait around for them all day. Arrived when scheduled. I was a little worried about cost since they charge by the hour. And It was a Saturday so they charge a little more per hour. However, James came in recognized all the issues and went right to work. After about half an hour, he had completed all the work we had requested. He gave us some additional quotes for work in the future. We could not be more happy with the work that was done and we will be calling them to do more work in the near future.

The men were very professional, courteous, and clean. They arrived on time and got to work right away. During the course of the job, I was called over to look at a damaged P-trap that was found and was asked if I would like it to be replaced for a nominal charge ($33), which I found reasonable, so I said ok. They still managed to finish all the work we had for them in their alloted time, and cleaned up after themselves completely. It was a very positive experience, and would definitely call Tierney again for plumbing work.

I called Tierney Plumbing, and Jennifer answered. She was very caring and nice. She helped me pick the discount that would be a better financial choice for what we were needing to have done. Within minutes I received a confirmation email with the scheduled date and time of my appt. To my surprise, Tierney called and asked if the technician, Jason, could come earlier. This was GREAT! Upon arrival Jason, was very polite, very professional. He was very capable, and even explained what he was doing and gave me some pointers. This was a GREAT experience. I would use them again, and would recommend them to all my friends and family.

What a great experience....a plumber who know his trade. He even put down a tarp in each work area to protect my floors and to keep the work area clean. James and Michael were prompt, professional and meticulous. Over the past 23 years, I have had several plumbers to the house to repair these two toilets which have never worked properly. James actually used a level to insure proper installation and had to shim one toilet which had never been done before. Finally, after battling two poorly installed toilets for years, I now have two beautiful Kohler toilets that work perfectly thanks to Tierney Plumbing. I am very hard to please as I expect a job to be done correctly the first time. This company exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Tierney Plumbing. This was the first time I had ever used Angie's List. Jennifer Tierney was wonderful about helping me through the process and picking up the two toilets that I had purchased. The entire experience was great and I have now found my plumber for life.

Well, Jason was right on it and finished well within the 2 hours of time bought and also had time to install a new sink faucet that was leaking. He did not waste any time and was very diligent in his work. I would strongly recommend the service they provide. The materials they used were very reasonable. As far as being punctual he was right on time, had a 0900 appointment but due to other weather related issues they rescheduled at 2pm which was find with me.

I had two broken outdoor pipe spewing gallons of water a minute everywhere. I called THREE plumbers only to hear they couldn't come until next Monday and instructed me to turn the water off at the main.. That wasn't an option, as I couldn't go without water in the house. Tierney stepped up to the plate! They magically showed up within an hour (AFTER HOURS) and for certain after what had already been a long day AND IN THE RAIN for Michael (apprentice) and James (journeyman). James had a smile on his face and was happy to help out. He tried to locate a shut off in my very old house and couldn't locate one so he capped off the leaks per my instruction rather than work in the rain at the after hour rate. I was pleased as punch to pay the $220 for the repairs. They are coming back for a bathroom addition quote next week. I hope to use them as my exclusive plumber from now on! Thanks!

I found Tierney Plumbing on Angie's list and emailed Ron the day before Thanksgiving. He called me that day and asked me how urgent was it (meaning did we have gas and sewer) and I told him that our pool company's plumber had temporarily patched for us so was just needing the digging of the new trench and moving of the two lines. Ron came out to see us that weekend (on Saturday if I recall) as we had company in town that week and didn't want to deal with it until the weekend. He was a very professional person and seemed like a nice enough guy. He reviewed the project and asked if he could call me back with a quote as he needed to check what it was going to take from his side to dig the large trench required for the project. To his credit, he called me back within a couple of hours and provided me a proposal that was well in line with the others we had gotten. He was willing to come out that Monday morning and get it fixed for me. I would have used him for the project, but my builder agreed with me to cover the cost of the move if we used his plumber ( I am sure he made the plumber absorb it as it was their fault in the first place). I told Ron how I was handling and he wished me luck on the project. I would definitely use him if I needed a plumber. Nice guy, who knows what he's talking about and doesn't put the high pressure sale on you like many did.
