Bought the 2 hour deal and tho it went a bit over there was no xtra charge. And worked with us on coming earlier in day with no issue.

He did an excellent job. I would recommend him.

I then asked her to defined pretty backed up, she stated it depends on if the job will take an hour or a day. I stated that I think it would be and hour or two and she said that she could work me in first thing tommow am. I gave her the details of the location, phone numbers etc and she stated that she would call me to discuss the cost and what they find. I then told her that I was an Angie's list member and was getting the deal they are running and the conversation turned from good to bad. She told me that she would not beable to get to any Angie's list members until next week. I asked her if she was saying that she treats Angie's list members as second class and she said I am working you in, so are you saying yes you treat Angie's list members as second class and she said yes. She then tried to recover and state that we work in emergencies, and I told her that I did not know that you classify an hour or two of work as an emergency because that word was never used. She became rude after that. I told her that this is not going well and that I would find another provider because I have experienced this in the past having owned 20 rentals and built houses etc. I am starting to believe that Angie's list is more like craigslist than a premium service where true experience is posted because I am sure they cull the negative post

They did an excellent job! The stem on our shower handle was very old and oxidized and this was not an easy job. The handle now works so smoothly I didn't realize how bad it was until it was fixed. Terry did an excellent job and we will only use Tierney Plumbing going forward. We have tried numerous plumbers in DFW and Tierney is definatly the best.

Everything went great. He was efficient, neat and knowledgeable. Everything worked when he left! This was an Angie's coupon - $75 for two hours work. We would definitely use them again without a coupon.

Ron arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule and was considerate to put on booties over his shoes so as to not dirty my floors. He asked to see what repairs I needed and quickly began to address each repair in a methodical manner. He answered any question I had about each repair. He worked very efficiently and resolved each problem in short order. I was most satisfied by his visit and look forward to calling on his company on any future plumbing work I may need.

The plumber who came was very helpful, professional and understanding. He quickly resolved the issue and I was able to use my kitchen faucet again

Exactly one year to the date, we had the company come to fix a few of the repairs we had last time. A toilet didn't flush right, faucet dripping and outside spigot spewing water when turned on. They said we had an old toilet (house is 9 years old), nothing was wrong with the sink and the outside spigot didn't have a gasket inside so it would need to be replaced. Mind you, they installed the original spigot. They wouldn't stand behind their work even after the service man called his manager since it had been a year. We were out another $180 to have it replaced. I was happy with the original service until we started having problems with the exact same fixtures and then when they didn't stand behind their work... I will not be using them again.

They did a great job. Very courteous and everything went smoothly. They got the problem fixed and that's the most important thing.

Jason went right to work. He didn't stop as he removed and replaced my sink. He was efficient and timely. He fixed my garbage disposal as it had something stuck in it and sounded terrible (no extra charge). I would definitely recommend this service to others.

I purchased an Angie's list deal for 2 hours of labor fro $135. (approximately 1/2 price). We had a leak coming from under the toilet and my son and husband had already pulled the toilet and replaced the wax ring, but it was still leaking. The guy from Tierney came and removed the toilet, said everything was in good shape except that the toilet had been set unevenly on the ring. He replaced the ring and reset the toilet, gave me a yr guarantee and then, because my 2 hours had not been used up, worked on a tub faucet that has been giving us difficulty. Good, honest, friendly, and fast service. Will be my new first-call plumber in future.

Scheduling was responsive, easy, and friendly. I did not know that changing/replacing facets would take less than an hour (I paid for the 2 hour labor special). With cost of the 2 new faucets, I probably paid more than I could have with other providers. But I was happy with the professionalism displayed and will call them for other plumbing issues.

Where do I begin?! I was remodeling my half-bath; replacing my toilet and sink. When I removed the toilet I found the offset closet flange broken. This made it impossible to use both lock-bolts to secure the toilet. I do not have the tools to fix this myself so I went on Angie's List to look for - A (plumber). After finding a couple of plumbing company's to come to my home to give me their estimates which were very similar in time and costs. I saw a special on Angie's Home page offering Two Hours Labor for $135.00. So heck-Yea, I signed up. When I called Tierney Plumbing I Ron Tierney on the phone and describe in detail about the work needed and mention that I had already received two other offers. But I saw the add for their Two Hour Discount Coupon, I would like to have him do the job and he said yes. I was then given an arrival date and time. On the scheduled mourning I get a knock at my door. It is a young man says he's here to fix my plumbing issue. No advance call and five minutes late and a bit of a cavalier attitude. Now understand this. I had already removed the toilet and cleaned the wax ring and the broken collar from the work area. I explained that my toilet was previously resting on a red-oak hardwood floor and that the new flange should be raised level to the flooring. He spent approximately 25 to 30 minutes looking at the job and then gets his tools and proceeds to break out the old flange. He literally chiseled out concrete around the neck of the flange to get the old flange out. After about 45 min. he comes to me and, (Drops the Bomb!). He tells me he doe's not have a flange on his truck that will work. "WWWHHATTT!!". Wait for it... I will have to go to a supplier to get on he needs. Wait for It.... I will have to charge you for the travel time. I question him as to why I have to pay for his time to get a part he should have on his truck. His reply was: I can't carry everything on my truck. This was unexpected. -- What! I explained exactly what my needs are to Mr. Tierney. So now he leaves to get the part and approximately 45 min to an hour he arrives back and completes the job. So I thought. I cover that in a moment. I got my bill. It was for $224.33 after the $135.00 coupon. That's nearly a hundred bucks more than the other two companies that came to my home with written estimates. I am a retired CWA Installer/repairman for Southern Bell Telephone Co. I know all about keeping a stocked truck. And if I do not have the part to do the job. ( It doe's not cost the Customer for me to get it)- THAT IS JUST STEALING FROM THE CUSTOMER!!! Personally I think someone got some breakfast on me. PS; On closer inspection on the flange repair, I looked under the cap and found that the cement flooring that was chiseled away for the new flange was left unrepaired - no cement patching was done???? I recommend you look else ware for a plumbing company this is a shine on outfit...need I say more. The coupon is a come-one. Angie you need to remove this coupon. Arrived at 9:05am and left 11:35am. I paid $135.00 for two hours and then was charged an 1.5 hours in addition plus $21.83 for the flange. All totaling $358.83. Just for laughs. I was a journeyman plumber working for my Uncle's company 35 years ago. Enough said....

They were among the best companies that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! Initially, my wife and I thought we wanted to have a tankless water heater the house, given that our water heater is located in an attic. However, after doing thorough measurements and research, Tierney indicated that our gas line would have to be upgraded for a tankless system to function reliably. After further consideration, I asked for a bid for a more traditional system with a tank. They were good enough to give us a very reasonable proposal for that work, and included a device which would detect a leak in the drain pain and immediately shut off the water - a great idea! In the end, we ended up choosing another company to perform the work, simply because they offered a tankless system with upgraded internals for a 12 year warranty. But, other than that factor, Tierney would have been our choice. They were welcoming and responsive to questions, really knowledgeable and professional.

Plumber was on time, courteous, and installed the new faucet. The old faucet had the couplings welded but my wife said that did not bother the plumber. My wife was impressed with the service.

The plumber arrived within the agreed upon timeframe. Around 5:00pm, we tried to run some hot water and discovered that we didn't have any. We called the company and it was closed, however the greeting on the voicemail system asked that a message be left and your call would be returned within one hour. After waiting for over an hour and not receiving a call from the company we called for the second time, the same message was played. At around 8:00pm, I called again and this time an emergency telephone number was given on the voicemail system. I called that number and spoke with the owner of the company. He told me several things to try in order to get the hot water heater to work, none of these things corrected the problem. He offered to come to my home to see if he could fix the problem. Upon arriving at my home he performed the same tasks that he had walked me through over the phone. Again these maneuvers didn't restore our hot water. He told me there was nothing else that he could do and his plumber had not caused the problem! With that he left and I never heard from him again. I was able to call a friend, as the owner left at 8:45pm, to get a referral to another plumbing company. That company came out early the next morning and fixed my problem with the professionalism, dependability, and caring that one would expect from a quality company.

The job went well and was done within the time frame, even though more mold was found than expected.

The service was pretty good. They showed up when they were supposed to.

I purchased an Angie's Deal: $135 for 2 hours of labor. Service call was scheduled very quickly and within my schedule. Was advised up front that the work I was requesting might take more than 2 hours of labor. The plumber who was assigned to my job had to leave to purchase more toilet parts (those rubbery things that get lifted up when you flush the toilet and drop down gradually as the returning water rises. I'm sure they have a name, but don't ask me what it is.) The plumber could only address the toilets when he arrived because we had a late blast of winter cold in north TX so it seems that the outside pipes/spigots were frozen. As he left, he cautioned me that it sometimes takes a few days for those rubbery things to adjust. They did not adjust. In fact, the master bath toilet was in even worse shape after the plumber left than it was before he arrived. I had become somewhat accustomed to night-time toilet running sounds...but it was running every five minutes after the "repairs". I reported the problems to the company on the Monday following my Friday "repair"--and they were immensely responsive, sending out a senior tech and the owner's son, who's in training. They were surprised to learn that that the first plumber had to run for parts, and then explained to me why the rubbery things that they were going to install to fix the problem: they weren't warped. These guys totally resolved the toilet problems, including doing whatever they needed to do to make a particular no-longer-offered toilet work. (Working great, but will probably need to be replaced by the next owner). The first plumber did not arrange for a follow-up appointment to take care of my exterior spigots, and I had to contact the company to inquire after this. They offered to send a plumber the next day (a Saturday) at weekday rates. This was not convenient for me, so I scheduled for a later date. All is good at this point. Spigots were repaired and are operating very well--even better than before, on the advice of the plumber who came out to do the work. I have a very awkwardly placed spigot that's really hard to access and he installed a much more convenient spigot handle. He looked familiar: I'm thinking he was the owner's son--coming back to make things right--or he could have been the first plumber who was in training....no matter who he was, he DID resolve the problems and provide great explanations of what might have caused them, and how long the solutions might work. I highly recommend this company.;

They were exceptional, courteous, professional and prompt. The valve stem of the water heater was leaking through the ceiling from the attic. Mr. Tierney was very nice. I felt they were very fair priced. They gave me several options, we decided to replace the water heater. Everything was done in one day. They recommended another company to assist with the water damage that was very good.

This was a great deal and this was a great company. I will definitely be using them again!

They showed up on time, figured out what parts were needed, then went to Home Depot to get the parts and installed them. They even hauled off the old toilet.

It went great. The plumber did all the work in a timely manner and it was a good price for the work. He was professional and I will seek them out again for future work.

I purchased the big deal for two hours worth of plumbing work. It went very well. I had a list of five things that I needed done. I'm disabled so I can't even get to some of the places where the work needs to be done. The gentlemen came in, surveyed everything and told me what order he was going to with. He got it all done in about an hour and forty five minutes. He came back and said I have fifteen more minutes and if I wanted any more done. I had other things to do, but it was a great deal and all five of the items have been fine since then so I haven't had any reason to doubt the quality of their work. I remember being happy with the price.

Plumber came 10 minutes early. He explained what issue was and he fixed issue much quicker then I thought. He also charged a lot less then I thought it would be.
