The service turned out good. They replaced a faucet and one plumber came out. Everything was just fine.

It worked out just fine. They came out a day or two after I made the purchase. They were prompt and they did the job quickly.

I had bought it for daughter and my son-in-law, and he gave me feedback that he wasn't too happy about the deal. He employed them for 2 hours and the gentleman that was there said that he needed to leave and get a part. Then they never came back. When my son-in law called them back, they said that the 2 hours were over, and there would be an additional charge. My son-in-law was disappointed because he felt like the gentleman who came to do the work should have had the parts because these are parts that a plumber would typically have. He was probably running errands while picking the partsand so the job was not completed. They were okay with the pricing initially, but then they did not get what they paid for. The owners should have followed up better than they did.

We purchased this deal because we had a leak from the upstairs bathroom leaking down through the ceiling of the kitchen. It wasn't happening at the time when the plumber came out so he said there wasn't anything he could do because he couldn't determine where the leak was coming from and we would just have to wait until it happens again.

The job was done professionally and efficiently. The repairman was extremely courteous and thorough. We now have a new plumbing company!

I called on a Saturday (why does this always happen on a weekend :-)) and I was greeted immediately by the owners wife (I think). In any case, she was friendly and professional. They showed up within 15 minutes of when they said they would after having to drive across town to get here. Jason was the plumber and quickly determined the problem and went back to get extra equipment to solve the stoppage. All this with a hurt back, as well. He did what needed to be done in a professional and efficient manner even though his back must have caused discomfort. Tierney Plumbing is a good company. They may not be the cheapest ( I actually don't know for sure) but when it comes to plumbing you'll want it done right with a good and honest attitude. From that perspective, they are a good value.

Everything went well. Prompt and courteous service. I would use them again.

This is truly a frustrating situation so know this review is written in that frame of mind. About a month ago Ron Tierney did a good job replacing a tankless hotwater heater with a tank heater in my attic, fixing what was a horribly deficient previous installation. Because of how bad that system was installed, I decided to buy an Angie's List deal for a drain, flush and inspection of the 2nd hotwater heater. The plumber that did that inspection advised me of numerous installation problems and showed me scorch marks in the drywall and said this was a dangerous hookup. I called Tierney to come do an inspection and give me an estimate to fix it and his office set that for 2/12/2015, which was about a week out, but I trusted Tierney and his work so it was worth the wait. It so happens that on 2/9/2015 the city inspector came out to check the attic hotwater heater and TIerney's installation up there passed and I took that opportunity to see if he would look at the 2nd unit. He also noted several installation problems and concurred that this might be dangerous and should be turned off until repaired. I called Tierney's Office and spoke with a lady and told her I was going to email Ron Tierney the notes we took from the city inspector so he would provide an estimate for the work the inspector said should be done. It also expressed that a potential danger existed. I thought this would be helpful for him for his 2/12/2015 inspection. On 2/12/2015 Tierney called from his cell phone and said he was in route to my house. Oddly, he asked what we wanted him to do. I asked if he had read my email and he said no. I dropped what I was doing at work , accessed the email and paraphrased it in a text to him. Then crickets. I called Friday since I had not heard from him with a price and spoke to a lady at his office and she said Ron had not given her anything. She promised to call me back Friday afternoon. No call back. On Saturday I sent a text. Here is the text exchanges between Saturday and Tuesday 2/17/2015. Me. Saturday 2/14/15 1042 AM: Mr tierney we have not rec'd the estimate and I wanted to schedule repairs asap. Are you able to provide ? Ron Tierney. Saturday 2/14/15 1109 AM: Sorry been backlogged the last couple days haven't had a chance to get it down on paper I'm out working all day today until late i'll get it to you as soon as I possible Me. Saturday 2/14/15 1110 AM; Understood. Thanks Me. Tuesday 2/17/15 702 AM: Mr tierney can u please get us the estimate today. I wouldn't be so persistent except that the city inspector said we have a potentially dangerous setup with the hot water heater and the fact that we already waited a week for you to inspect it and now we are on the 6th day after. Just from the perspective of a customer I would have preferred you to decline the job when we could have quickly found an alternative than to make us wait this long. Ron Tierney. Tuesday 2/17/15 705 AM: I'm sorry I've worked every day since I looked at that water heater and I haven't gotten home till very late at night and I get up extremely early in the morning to start my day so I really didn't get time to put it together Me. Tuesday 2/17/15 711 AM: I understand. You do great work at a fair price and your reputation precedes you. But I am in a pinch now. I tried to call another highly rated plumber and they can't come out till Friday. So if u can help us out it would be appreciated It is now 10:25 PM on Tuesday 2/17/15 and I still have nothing from Ron Tierney. I will call for another plumber tomorrow and start anew. I think the frustrating thing here is that I so would have respected and preferred had he just said I am too busy or I am going to pass because I am just too busy right now. Instead, I wait over a week to schedule him out to inspect and then another week trying to get the estimate and I have nothing I can work with and have to start over tomorrow - all the while I still have a potentially dangerous situation to be fixed. Overall, I give Tierney a C because when he did do work it was good and the price was fair. However, the most recent exchange has earned them a well deserved F when it comes to professionalism and responsiveness. Update on 2/28/2015 - I did get a voicemail from Jenny at Tierney to call on 2/19/2015. When I called back I was asked to hold. I held for 4:54 and then hung up. So, still no response two weeks later. If you are looking for a professional, responsive plumber, call Randy Pair, Master Plumber, O'Grady Plumbing Company. They came out after we gave up on Tierney, and got to work on it very quickly and they did an amazing job. Thank you gentlemen I will leave you a good review on your company profile.

We purchased a big deal for 2 hours of plumbing labor due to our kitchen faucet failing and leaking. The initial contact was on a Sunday evening and an appointment was scheduled for the following Wednesday. They ultimately had to reschedule due to a busier than expected day (which was an inconvenience since we had no running water in the kitchen) but were able to come out on the following Saturday. The plumber was very efficient and was very good about explaining the work that needed to be done. Their quality of work was excellent and we will definitely use them again.

When I spoke to the company it went fine. We decided we did not need the deal any longer.

After I purchased the deal, I ended up calling the city about my issue I was having. The city ended up coming out right away and fixed this for free. I called them to let them know I did not need the service and I needed a refund, they informed me that the coupon would not have been valid today anyway since it was a holiday. They were very helpful and informative. I have used them in the past and I have been happy with their services and would use them again in the future.

Flawless. Execution, from scheduling to installation, was exactly as advertised with no surprises. It's refreshing to deal with a honest company.

Called for an appointment to replace a leaking water heater. Person I talked to was able to answer all my questions. Scheduled for the next morning. Plumber arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time. Got the water heater removed and replaced with no problems. Left no trash behind. Pleasant experience. Will use them again.

He was right on time and quickly took care of my problems - actually he was quicker than I expected so I didn't need him for the full two hours. He offered suggestions for what I could do on a regular basis for maintenance so I could avoid plumbing problems in the future. I appreciate that!

It was on the weekend and it was kind of an emergency. They just got it done. They were good customer service and talked to me on it.

I found several names on Angie's List and verified information on them - narrowed it down to four. It was tough deciding, but we felt like we had excellent choices. Called Tierney Plumbing on Monday and was able to get an appointment the next day for the afternoon. In fact, they called and said they had an earlier appointment on Tuesday if we wanted it, so we took it. The employee (Jeremy) arrived promptly that morning and assessed the problem. The leaking faucet was difficult getting out, but he did it without any significant damage, replaced the faucet and evaluated the work after replacement. Jeremy seemed very knowledgable about his job and we were satisfied with the results. It's nice to have someone come to your home to do work and have a happy spirit and be cordial, especially while we were asking many questions. The price was reasonable. We will definitely use Tierney Plumbing again if needed and recommend them. Though we haven't met Ron and Jennifer, the owner's, because of what we read on Angie's List, we felt confident we were using an excellent company. I called on a Saturday afternoon to schedule a dishwasher installation. I found out that the weekend had a higher rate than 8-5 Mon. thru Fri., so I scheduled them to come out on Wed at 8a, the first early morning appt. I could get. I took off work to meet them. When they had not shown up about 15 after 8 I got my phone to call them and noticed a text saying the guy assigned to meet me had the flu, need to reschedule. Only one guy has the ability to install a dishwasher throughout the whole company? I miss work and pay to meet someone, and all I get is a text. Yeah, that fixes it.

James was very professional and made sure the repairs would last. He replaced toilet flaps and all the hardware in one toilet. He also replaced a leaky faucet in the kitchen and made recommendations for hardware for that. He was very experienced and professional while also being very personable.

I did not pay any additional fee for the deal. It went well. They were quick, fast, efficient and affordable.
